Yooooo! How's you doiiiing? I went to the theatre last night to watch Spiderman No Way Home and it was awesome! But I didn't get much sleep so now I'm a sleepy Tory. This story starts with a sleepy child as well, could honestly be me at this point! (the child has more energy than I do I'm afraid)

The child woke up and rubbed their eyes. They stretched with a satisfied smile - it had been a good night. They jumped out of bed, grabbing some clothes before rushing to the bathroom for a quick wash.

Chirithy sighed.

Everyday was the same. The child would wake up, would take the same breakfast, leave the house humming, and go about their day. Life looked fun and nice. They would fight little creatures of Darkness alongside friends, and Chirithies would accompany them all. Watching over them, as they always did. As they had been designed to.

The child, the children were oblivious to the world. They looked, but they did not see. Wherever they went, it was always a good experience. They discovered new places, learnt new powerful attacks to replace outdated ones, were sometimes at risk but never in full peril. They would always come back home at the end of the day, give their Chirithy a pet and chatter about how good a day it had been, how they were looking forward to the next, how they wished everyday would be as fun as that one.

And despite being supposed to be a mere watcher, Chirithy hurt a little bit more every day. They had grown attached to the child, after countless days of watching over them, and they had started to enjoy these morning yawns, these days out under the sun, these cheerful talks before bed. They enjoyed them as much as they dreaded them, for every day Chirithy loved the child a little bit more.

Everyday, Chirithy wished a bit more that the war would never happen.

The children thought all this practicing was just for fun, where Chirithies knew this was just a Warrior Factory. The Keyblade War had been written to happen, and it would happen no matter what. Hundreds, thousands of souls, all children, all pure hearts, would collide, fight, and perish, for the sake of a greater future. Chirithy, along with their siblings, had known about it all along, and knew fairly well that they weren't to get involved in that. They had to make sure the soul they were linked to would remain safe until the final day. But as days went by, with every pet, every smile, every minute shared, Chirithy would suffer more and more at the thought of losing such a precious soul. Chirithies who tried to escape this fate would become corrupted, and their child, lost even sooner. This was not an option.

The child twisted in their bed, a naive smile on their face. Chirithy sighed, curling their tiny body closer to the tiny human. They would keep them safe until the day they could not anymore.

The next one is titled Goddess!
