After graduating high school, most of the Vongola stayed in Namimori to study at the local University. Yamamoto and Ryohei got scholarships, and while Hibari passed the exam to attend Tokyo U he chose not to.

Haru and Gokudera however got into Tokyo U no problem. Haru stayed in the dorms while Gokudera got an apartment, the thing though was no one knew Haru got in, and she didn't know Gokudera Got in. So as far as she knew she was alone in Tokyo.

Haru had been at Tokyo U for a few months now and she was sure she was the only one there. She ran into Gokudera eventually, and the two fell back into their usual arguments. Their arguments no longer held their usual bites and somewhere along the way they started napping in each other's bed once a week. Which changed one rainy night.

Hayato heard a lot of banging on his door late at night, so he made his way there and opened it. There stood a very wet and upset Haru, he let her in right away and got a towel to dry her off, and a shirt of his for her to wear while her clothes dried.

"You're wondering why I am here, aren't you?" Haru whispered, he handed her the shirt and nodded his head. He knew it was something important if she was here this late. She changed into the shirt in front of him in his living room and that was when he noticed a change in her body, she was bigger.

"Haru?"

"I'm pregnant." Hayato froze, but based on Haru's expression she wasn't happy either.

"Happened before we ran into one another, I just didn't know until now. I had no symptoms until a week ago." He watched Haru as she started to cry. "It was stupid, someone drugged my drink and-" Hayato didn't need her to finish her sentence to know what had happened. He pulled her into a hug, he knew she must have been worrying about this for a while.

"Hey, we'll figure it out." He wanted to kill whoever did this to her. Over the years she had become one of the most important people to him.

"I'm not even sure I want to keep it." Hayato suddenly was filled with dread.

"Why not? It's a mini you, who wouldn't want a mini them." He watched as Haru made a face.

"I thought you hated my personality." Hayato laughed.

"You grew on me." Haru laughed as well, after a bit she got quiet, almost silent.

"I don't think I can do it alone, and Papa will be furious. He'll probably disown me, ah and what will our friends think of me." Hayato tightened his hold on her.

"You're not alone, I'm here for you, both of you." Hayato kept her close as she opened up about what happened. Eventually the two climbed into bed just enjoying each other's company. The following day Hayato offered Haru to move in with him to offer help but she refused as her apartment was bigger. He still offered his help and even tried to convince her to let him move in but he had no luck.

Christmas break was around the corner and Hayato discovered Haru was avoiding the trip, and made some of her doctor appointments around that time so she could stay behind. He went back to Nanamori for all of three days instead of two weeks, so he could get back to Haru. He hadn't told anyone of Haru's condition as it was her news to share, but Judaime insisted on coming out to visit. He found out when they were at his door and Bianchi let them in, Haru and him had been sitting on the couch going over their assignments. Haru had grabbed a pillow and tried to hide her stomach, she wasn't showing much but she was subconscious about it.

They said hi to everyone and after a few minutes Haru hid in his bedroom. Hayato wasn't sure what to tell them and the girls tried to go into the room to talk to her, Haru however wouldn't let them in. Everyone was a little bummed she wouldn't talk to them, and they all knew he knew something but wasn't saying anything. She had ended up staying the night along with everyone else, but the following morning they had to run into school, for a seminar that was worth 10% of their grade. Haru borrowed a shirt so that she could hide her small bump but Hayato couldn't help rubbing her stomach every once in a while. They grabbed their lunches, and they decided to eat out for breakfast.

Hayato left a note and the two quietly left. After the lesson he walked her back to her apartment.

"You know, you'll have to tell them eventually." Haru nodded her head.

"When I'm ready, I promise." She hesitated for a second before speaking up again.

"Thank you for not telling them, I really appreciate it." Hayato smiled and pulled her into a hug.

"We should pretend we still fight like we used to." Haru laughed at his joke and he couldn't help giggling along.

"I think that went out the window yesterday." Haru tightened her hug then went into her apartment. He headed back to his house to meet his guests.

He knew something was up when he got there, but chose to ignore it. If Reborn was involved then there was no way out of it. Sure enough they sat him down and had his sister's poison cooking out to force feed him. Haru had left breakfast for everyone so he was sure they ate, but then he spotted it, the cupboard he kept all her kitchen stuff in.

Busted was all he could think.

"So Gokudera, are you going to tell us what is going on, as Haru apparently spends a lot of time here." Ryohei said Hayato knew he viewed Haru as a sister and so long as the girls weren't integrating Haru that was ok.

"We have some classes together and between Work and School, neither of us made a lot of friends here. So we tend to work together, whether here or at her place."

"Alright then where did you go today?" Hayato rolled his eyes.

"A seminar that was worth 10% of our grade, I left a note." Bianchi pulled the note out and Hayato saw it was crumpled and most likely got wet earlier that day.

"We never got to read it" she stated. Hayato hand met his face exasperated with the situation.

"Then why did the two of you share a bed?" Hayato wasn't sure how to explain that one properly. So instead of trying to explain he chose to insult.

"Why does it matter Turf-top." Of course this led to a screaming match between the two. Luckily most of his neighbors had gone home for the Holidays.

"What was that Octopus head?"

"You heard me."

"Mah mah, calm down you two." At that moment his phone rang and Hayato grabbed it and answered.

"Hello."

"He's here." Came Haru's voice

"Are you sure?"

"I recognize his voice."

"Give me five minutes, I'll come over and kill him."

"Please do." Haru hung up and Hayato walked out the door, sure enough everyone else was following.

He made it to Haru's apartment in record timing and she let everyone in still wearing his shirt.

"Where?" Was all he asked, Haru point next door. So he walked over to knock, Judaime at that moment stopped him.

"Tell me what's going on now." Haru invited everyone in and let them sit on the couch and surrounding floor. She took her arm chair and Hayato sat on the arm rest. He knew everyone was taking note of where he chose to be.

"Basically a guy is next door. I recognized his voice from -" Haru cut herself off, knowing she was struggling to say it he snaked his hand into hers and squeezed it.

"From when I was drugged and raped." She looked over to him and he could tell she felt like a weight had been lifted off her. She started to cry and he squeezed her hand again.

"I finally said it out loud. I finally said it." He smiled at her forgetting everyone else in the room was there, this was a huge step for her and he was proud of her.

"What's your plan Hayato?" He broke his gaze away from Haru and looked at his boss.

"Kill him, in the most painful way possible." To which he then looked at Reborn. "By giving him to Reborn."

He received no audible response, just the deadly smiles of the family approving of the method chosen. Reborn left the room and they heard a brief scream from the other side of the wall. The Tenth was the first to speak.

"Haru, is there anything else?" Haru shook her head and he squeezed her hand again, this time as a reminder. She shook her head at him which led to eye rolls. Turf-top did not like it, as he started yelling at Gokudera.

"Get away from my sister." Gokudera then stood up, and to bother Ryohei further walked into Haru's room, asking to borrow the notes from that day's seminar.

Haru laughed but responded.

"They're in their usual spot." She went to

snacks and drinks for everyone. Hayato actually needed the notes, so he went to her desk to find the notes. As always everything was in their place, he then noticed something else in her work. He chose anything till they'll alone, everyone talked and caught up for the next few hours, then Judaime collected everyone to head back to their hotel. Hayato walked everyone to the hotel, and said bye before making his way back to Haru.

"Haru you here?"

"I'll be out in a bit." She came out of her room, wearing a different shirt of his and nothing much else he could see. He was sure she knew what it did to him but he wasn't sure. She sat down on her couch and looked over at him.

"What's up Gokudera?"

"I wanted to ask about that thing on your desk, the one doctor related." He watched her face go from confusion, to realize, then finally it fell.

"Oh that." Hayato watched her face before approaching and kneeling on the ground in front of her.

"You know you're not alone right? I'm with you, you stupid woman so relay on me a bit." Haru grabbed Hayato's hands and pulled him up to her.

"I know."
