AN: so an idea wouldn't leave my head thus it became a two shot instead one shot. I rewrote it a few times, i hope you like it

After Hayato learned she was having twins, he dug deeper into the apartment searching with her. Eventually finding a small 4 bedroom house for a decent price near the school. In order to help her pay for it he sold his apartment, and co-signed the documents making it their house. For the next 4 years of school, she never went home nor told her friends about the birth of her twin girls, Yuki and Lavina. They both looked like Haru but instead of chocolate brown eyes, they had more of a stormy grey.

Hayato in the beginning wanted her to tell them but eventually stopped just silently supporting her. By year 2 the two started sleeping in the same room, he was the only father her children ever knew. After they finished school, everyone in their group was already in Italy for the last year. While packing he never once said a word about telling anyone about the children; they packed everything they could. After 4 years Haru had finally finished her studies into diplomatic studies, programming, computer analysis, physics/chemistry and fashion studies. Hayato had put off going to Italy so she could complete her studies. Most of which she completed as a double major.

After a week of packing and shipping their things out, the twins were tucked in to sleep in what they had for them. They would leave first thing in the morning; Haru found Hayato relaxing in their bed, reading a book; having decided to keep the house they left a lot of their furniture in place but sent the girls ahead.

"The girls are asleep?" she asked, Hayato looked up at her with a small smile in place.

"Yeah, they're excited to go somewhere new. I also made sure to show them pictures of everyone so they won't be scared when they meet everyone." Haru couldn't help the smile either.

"Thank you for keeping them a secret all these years."

"I still can't believe it's been five years." He responded.

"I can't believe we got together after a fight."

"Very us though." he responded. Haru smiled and snuggled close to him. For the first year of the girl's lives, she had thought he was just being a good friend helping her; he on the hand thought they were together and drove away every guy that came near her.

"Are you ready Haru?" he was still looking at his book when she looked at him.

"No, but once we move there will be no hiding anymore." she paused trying to word what she wanted to say better. "I'm scared of their response but I also know they'll accept the girls." Hayato moved his arm around her, putting his book down in the process, and he kissed her. She melted into the kiss, allowing him to gently guide her to the ground; she enjoyed simply having him to herself that night.

The following morning they grabbed their bags and wrangled their children to head to the airport. They decided that they wouldn't sell their Tokyo house, keeping it as a safe house and summer home for the girls. Once they reached the airport, Hayato guided them to the private plane Tsuna prepared for them; both girls were in awe of the plane and once aboard wanted to play. Gokudera got Lavina into a seat near a window and sat to her right, Haru put Yuki in beside Lavina with herself on the outside. Once ready the plane took off, for the most part the children behaved. After a four hour plane ride the children were ansty once the plane had landed Haru and Hayato were exhausted, their things were taken to their car for them.

"Girls, you need to get into the car." Neither 3 year old wanted to get into the car that Bianchi left for them. Having brought their car seats on the plane made it easier for them to travel with the girls.

"Mama, play!" Yuki yelled at her.

"Once we're there Yuki." She looked over the Hayato to see if he had better luck, he had managed to get Lavina into her seat and she was holding something. He came round to her side.

"Yuki, we're going to see your aunts and uncles, if you don't get in your seat you won't get to see them." he stated, Haru saw Lavina's attention being drawn to her sister.

"NO! NO! NO! NO!" Yuki screamed once more, Haru noticed her other daughter's hand reach out.

"Yuki" she sounded like she wanted to cry, Lavina looked over to her sister and suddenly decided to rag doll on her. Haru quickly buckling in her more active child, then looked to the man she considered to be her husband at this point.

"Lavina wants to meet everyone." Haru laughed, Yuki was an active toddler always running around but shy when it came to meeting people. Lavina was often quiet and preferred to read; she tended to be a social butterfly. Haru climbed into her seat on the passenger side while Hayato took the wheel, driving them to the mansion where everyone was waiting for them.

The girls Spent the entire ride babbling away, Hayato had one hand on the wheel and the other in Haru's hand. She had an idea how the others would react, when they learned she had kids; but she had no idea how they would react when the girls called Hayato dada. There was also another surprise she had for everyone including her little family. The ride was peaceful enough and reminding her of their little trips they made once a week, Hayato had even started humming something he had been working on for the girls.

When they pulled up the front gate for the mansion Haru was in awe as well. The large steel gate with their family's crest on it, beyond it were stretches of trees. Another 20 minutes went by and they could see the mansion.

"Tsuna inherited that?" Haru questioned. Hayato nodded his head.

"yeah , it's where we're staying too." he seemed thoughtful for a moment as he drove up. "You never joined us to visit in the past did you."

"Nope, I also don't have any flames." Hayato scoffed.

"Everyone has flame waves, you're probably like Enma and have one that isn't common. Just need to find the right gear for you that matches your waves" Haru smiled knowing he was just trying to cheer her up.

When they pulled up, they noticed Yamamoto, Kyoko and Tsuna were meeting them. Hayato got out of the car first and waved before collecting Lavina from his side. Haru took a deep breath and got out herself collecting the now sleeping Yuki. Takeshi walked forward and helped to collect their bags, Kyoko had a strained smile on and Tsuna looked shocked. Hayato walked forward with Lavina, but as he got closer she started to cry. Her crying woke Yuki, who came face to face with Takashi and started screaming herself; Haru looked at Hayato.

"Despite everything, they're still screaming." Hayato lamented.

"We did teach them to be wary of adults, because of our jobs." Haru responded; Tsuna started laughing, and Takeshi joined in. Hayato was trying to calm Lavina while Haru let Yuki cry; it took a bit but Lavina calmed down and Yuki was currently hiding in Haru's arms. Haru nodded her head, both girls were listening to what they had to say.

Hayato had placed Lavina on the ground and was kneeling in front of her.

"Lavina, do you remember the pictures we showed you?" she nodded her head and Haru could see Yuki poking her head out to better listen to his words; Hayato continued.

"The people over by the door are Tsuna and Kyoko, the one by mommy is Takeshi." Lavina seemed a little brighter at their but still unsure.

"Why mad?" she asked, haru gave out an awkward laugh.

"That's mommy's fault, not your's, baby." Haru told her children, Lavina looked curious but took Hayato's hand, Yuki started to get upset wanting her sister close. Haru put her down and watched her run to Lavina.

"La! La!" Yuki cried, when she reached Hayato and Lavina she grabbed Hayato's hand going forward with them.

"Hey Haru, how old are they?" she turned to Takeshi , she could see him piecing it together.

"They turn three this year." He nodded his head, a sad smile in place. "Hayato?"

"He was the only one I told when I found out." Looking over to the girls, She could tell Lavina was accepting Tsuna, but wary of Kyoko who still had a strained smile on her face. She walked over with a bag or two while Takeshi grabbed the others. Lavina happily went into the mansion, Yuki was more resistant to the idea. Hayato and Haru had to flank her as they walked in, but she went back to crying the moment Ryohei saw Lavina. Lavina was laughing away as he asked her questions about who her parents were and how she got there.

"Mama, Dada!" she yelled happily back to them, Tsuna raised an eyebrow silently questioning them. Tsuna showed them to a lounge area nearby and Lavina was babbling away asking questions in sentences that didn't fully make sense. Haru could feel Kyoko's gaze burning holes in her head, her nerves getting the best of her, she snaked her hand into Hayato's. They made small talk until dinner, after dinner Tsuna showed them to the rooms prepared for Hayato and Haru.

"Sorry we don't have one for the girls." Haru smiled.

"It's okay, I hadn't told any of you. They can sleep in my room while we wait for our stuff to arrive." Tsuna agreed.

"Meet me in the lounge after you're done." Tsuna walked away before they could respond.

"Lots of questions to answer."

"Yep." Hayato then went to go to his room. He turned back and looked at Haru.

"My room has a bigger bed, all four should fit." Haru followed him to the room Tsuna showed them earlier. They went through their bedtime routine and put the girls to bed with the extra pillows along on the outside of the girls. Once the girls were asleep, they quietly left the room; Hayato stole a kiss from her as they went to face their friends and Kyoko's wrath.

They walked into the lounge, Tsuna, Kyoko and Hana were on the couch. Ryohei was on the floor in front of Hana, Chrome and Takeshi were in armchairs. There was another couch that they took the hint they were supposed to sit in.

"Haru." Kyoko started

"Kyoko" Haru responded.

"So, Lavina and "

"Yuki." she filled in. Haru saw Hana's expression soften a little, understanding where the names came from.

"They're cute, and cautious. Is there a reason you didn't tell your best friend about them?" Kyoko stressed the word best and Haru couldn't help shrinking a little.

"It was overwhelming at the time and embarrassing." Hayato rested his hand on her leg, she placed her own hand on top of his and took a deep breath.

"What is there to be , about, it's not that big of a deal that you two got together and had kids. I would've been supporting you this entire time. All of us would have, instead you hid it from us." Kyoko nearly started yelling, and Haru could feel tears start to make their way forward. She didn't want to say what she knew she had to say, Hayato and herself had fought about it before they got together. He whispered into her ear.

"It's ok, go ahead and say it. I won't be mad." Taking another deep breath, Haru said what she hadn't in years but Takeshi beat her to the punch.

"Maybe you should go easy on them, Kyoko. I'm sure Haru had her reasons, she kept other things from us around then too."

"Hayato?" Tsuna asked

"It wasn't for me to say, it was her news and a touchy matter at that."

"And your relationship?" Tsuna asked, eyes pointedly at their hands on her knee. Hayato's free hand went to the back of his head.

"Never came up, and honestly I wanted to tell you with her."

"Uh, does this have to do with the man Mukuro-sama plays with?" Chrome asked.

"I believe it does." Reborn said coming out of a dark corner. Kyoko seemed content with the answers and apologized for the outburst. Haru never really spoke about that evening apart from when she confided in Hayato.

"If I'm honest I'm still coming to terms with what happened. Sometimes it's even hard to look at the girls, they have his eyes; I know it's not their fault and when they're old enough I'll...We'll tell the truth."

"I'm sorry, Haru. I should have realized you had good reasons for hiding this."

"It's ok Kyoko, I hid something for you and considering how much of a stink we put up about being kept in the dark."

"How about going forwards, big things like that aren't kept secret." Hana shifted for a moment and Haru realized the now married Hana might be in the same boat as her. Almost as if reading her mind Hana looked her in the eye, in a second they decided to announce their secrets.

"Well if I'm gonna promise that, I have to show Hayato something first." Haru grabbed her bag and pulled out a photo and handed it to Hayato, Haru also noticed Hana passed something to Ryohei.

Ryohei proceeded to pass out and Hayato seemed to stop functioning. Tsuna was growing concerned for his two Guardians.

"Now that he has seen it. I'm pregnant." Haru announced. Hana chimed in seconds later.

"I'm pregnant too." Haru, seeing the incoming noise, instantly reacted.

"Wake the twins and you'll suffer my wrath. Also Hayato and I get to tell them about me."

Tsuna then started collecting money from the remaining people in the room.

"I told you guys that betting against me was a bad idea."
