Hi!

SO SORRY FOR THE LONG WAIT! Real life happened and got in the way of things, not to mention that my laptop had to be laid to rest! It became possessed and started to delete my files and cope/paste things. It had gotten out of control and needed to be stopped immediately! I lost the majority of my stories, but thank goodness I had saved everything to a flash-drive, which has been my saving grace through this whole ordeal! It was time for that old laptop to go. I Had to save up to buy a brand new one (that was what took the longest) which I finally got and I love it to pieces! I am still messing around with it to get the hang of it all, but I was able to move my stories over from the flash-drive (still going to save on it as well for back up) and began to write again. Be looking for more new chapters and new stories from me in the near future! I got a lot to catch up on and want to share with you lovely readers!

Anyway a long story short (pun intended) I hope you like this new chapter and hopefully I can get the next one posted in the near future. Also don't worry I will be posting up my other stories later on. I have not forgotten them!

DISCLAIMER:I do not own Good Omens or its characters.

WARNING: This has CrowleyxAziraphale in the story. If you do not like this pairing please do not read this story. There are many other wonderful stories out there to read. Thank you.

Please Read and Review!

Enjoy!

Fate was very mysterious and always never on time. It followed it own path, just like with destiny though they were related. Fate was not one to be trifled with or play cards with in a dark room either. It was rumored that they cheated horribly. They did not like to lose. At all.

This time though, Fate was getting involved and was about to give a helping hand to two oblivious Nagas who were head over tails in love with each other. Though a helping hand might not be considered for here. It would need a large mallet to crack those thick hard headed skulls of theirs. Either way with hands or with huge mallets, Fate was going to intervene one way or the other to get those two idiots together. As mentioned before, Fate did not like to lose.

Aziraphale was close to the entrance of his lair, his head lost in thought as he was deciding on which scroll or book to read to pass the time. He was contemplating between reading the Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter or Hamlet (Crowley despised that work of Shakespeare, stating that only his funny ones were his best work and for Aziraphale to steer away from the gloomy ones. That was one of many that both agreed to disagree on or they would be shouting back and forth all the way to the end of time.) while sipping on some hot chocolate that a local witch had given him in exchange for some occult books they had wanted (Aziraphle finally relented when he realized that they were copies and he had the original hidden. away) when he heard a voice call out to him.

"Oi! Angel!"

The white feathered Naga smiled, turning his head to the direction where Crowley was calling from. The handsome Naga slithered to him with such vigor and scandalous movement that always had Aziraphale's cheeks (and body) always heating up from his actions (not to mention lustfully as well).

"Hello Crowley! What brings you here?"

"Can't a Naga just come say hello to a fellow Naga without it looking like they need some thing or have to do something?"

Aziraphale coughed, trying to cover up his grin, "Woke up from your nap and have nothing better to do?"

Crowley scoffed. "Been bored out of my skull."

"Well My Dear! You're just in time then. I was going to do some reading, but if you want I can open up a bottle of spirits that I have been saving for a special occasion. That should certainly brighten up your dull evening. That is… if you want to join me. You don't have to that is." He stated shyly, as Aziraphale twiddled his fingers, a terrible nervous habit of his. One he could never break out of.

Crowley smirked, "No place I rather be."

Aziraphale smiled, lightening up his entire mood that the other Naga thought he was looking at a beautiful full moon at the darkest of nights. It took Crowley's breath away (Ngk!), making his heart beat out of his chest rapidly, and he could only numbly follow the other creature into the cave.

I have finally got the next chapter up and ready! Can I get a Wahoo?

Good Grief! I have done it again! The slow-burn continues to grow! When will these two idiots finally get it into their heads that the other loves them?! Here's to the next chapter with romance whenever that happens! ;p Don't worry we will get into the romance next chapter!

Also I told you that I would give you the answer to what mythical God that I based Aziraphale's appearance on? I would like to announce that igeegeei gave us the correct answer which was Quetzalcoatl winged feathered serpent which is one of the many Gods of the Aztecs.

I take feedback and constructive criticism, so let me know if I kept these two in character. Again thank you all for sticking with this story!

Thank you!
