This is a chapter for a possible Harry Potter/Maximum Ride story I would like to write. This chapter would actually take place in Harry's Third Year at Hogwarts.
Chapter?
Harry really wanted to zap Draco for continuing to play up the injury he got from Buckbeak. Thanks to that the Gryffindor Quidditch Team now had to play Hufflepuff. Though it wouldn't have been that bad if it wasn't for the torrential downpour that the match was happening it right now.
He was looking everywhere in the rain to find the Snitch so that he could end the match quickly.
He was glad that Hermione had cast the Water Repealing Charm on his goggles. It helped him see a little better, but the rain was really hindering his vision.
Just then he heard in his head, "Harry, I think Cedric has seen the Snitch! He's heading towards the center of the pitch!"
"Angel, how many times have I asked you not to help me during my Matches," Harry thought back.
"More than I can count, and I wouldn't have said anything if it was for this horrible weather. We both know that this match should have been postponed due to it," Angel thought back while he could also imagine her rolling her eyes at him.
"Still, thanks. I'm going to try and end this quickly, whether he catches it or me," he replied to her as he turned his broom and shot towards the center of the pitch.
As he neared it, he saw that Cedric had indeed seen the Snitch and was just a few feet away from catching it. He pushed his broom harder so that he would get to it before him.
As he got nearer, he saw the Snitch suddenly head straight up in a vertical assent that made it so that both Cedric and him would have an equal chance to catch it, but they would both have to farther up in to the air.
They both headed up after the Snitch with Harry getting closer to it quicker, because he had already been higher up than his opponent.
When he got close enough to start to reach for it, he started to hear a woman's voice say, "Not Harry! Take me, but not Harry!"
"Are you alright Angel?" Harry asked her in concern.
"It's not me Harry. There's a huge group of Dementor's very close to you. They're affecting your mind and the weather. Get out of there!" Angel sent back to him.
Harry did a quick look around and started to see the creature's coming closer through the clouds and rain. He then turned around and started to head back towards the stadium and the ground.
As he started to pass Cedric he stopped, "We need to go. There are Dementor's coming."
Cedric looked up and paled at what he saw. He then turned back to Harry and nodded.
They raced back to the ground with Cedric starting to get farther and farther a head of him due to being heavier and the wind blowing at a downward angle.
When Harry had almost lost sight of Cedric, he felt his broom jerk to a halt he looked over his shoulder and saw that a Dementor had grabbed the end of his broom and was starting to come closer to him to suck out his soul.
In his shock and surprise he let go of his broom and started to fall. As he fell, he turned his body so that he was facing the ground, before he did anything else, he sent a thought to Angel, "I'm about to do something that we had hoped to put off for a lot longer, please forgive me. It's the only way I'm going to survive this fall."
"It's alright. Like you said we had hoped it wouldn't be revealed for a few more years. Just make sure you land safely," she sent back to him along with feeling of concern and love.
A grin spread across his face when felt her emotions for him. He then angled his body downward and tucked his arms in close to his body, turning him into a human missile. At the same time he started to spread his wings that were hidden under his clothes through the slits on the back of his shirt. Fortunately having lived with the Flock all of his life he had done similar stunts just trying to avoid those wishing them harm.
He kept his wings close to his body while spreading them slightly to slow his fall. When he saw the ground of the stadium beneath, he knew he had to time it right or they would be scrapping him off the grass.
Right before he opened his wings fully, he felt himself crash through what he later realized was someone using Magic to stop his fall or slow it down. He then spread his wings completely and glided across the ground a mere couple of inches above the grass.
Flapping his wings once brought him high enough that he could bring himself to a stop and stand with his wings folded behind his back.
He took that chance to look around the stadium at everyone in the stands since the rain had started to let up. As he did, he saw many different looks on the faces of everyone there. Most of them though were of surprise, shock, awe, or awe.
When he looked at where Angel had been sitting in the stands with their friends, he saw her get up and run towards the edge of the stands. He also saw that some people tried to stop her as she climbed over to railing and jumped. He watched as she spread her pure white wings and glided towards him on the ground. After she landed, she walked towards him and they embraced each other with Harry trying to wrap his wings around her protectively.
"There's no way you could possibly make everyone forget this is there?" he asked as he rested his forehead against hers.
She shook her head, "You know I can only affect a few people at a time and even if that wasn't the case there are some people here whose minds are so protected by Magic that it would take something similar to a Nuclear Bomb to be able to even peak at their minds."
Harry sighed, "Well, I guess we'll just have to see how things go from here."

A/N: As you can tell from this Chapter no at Hogwarts knew that he or Angel had wings.
When I do decide to write this it will go through the Maximum Ride books first and then Harry along with Angel will head to Hogwarts. Both of them will try and hide the fact that they are members of the Flock from everyone, because of the huge prejudices that exist there.
Other than that please read and review.
