Hello all. Sorry if you were expecting the next chapter and all you get is this update. Good news is that you still get something as when I first released this story it was just a sneak peek that ended rather abruptly in the middle of the action. Now it's finished and posted. I'm adding in this update as I wasn't sure if the changes made to the first chapter would send out notifications so this is just to let you know. Why did it take this long to write the rest of the story, you ask. Well, I have been busy. I've been writing multiple stories, one is my own story that I'm hoping to publish one day, and the others are all other fanfic works that you can check out on my profile. Plus, I had to move to my new dorm for the semester and prepare for my writing class. So, pretty hectic. So, sorry for the long wait over only a short bit. And sorry it's still going to be a while for the rest of the story. I am also working on those one-shots with the first one about Percy informing Frank and Hazel about the alien invasion coming out soon. Til then, I recently released my Harry Potter fanfic about changing the past if any of you are interested and I'm currently hard at work at Multiversity, a massive crossover of characters from all fandoms that I am so excited for. But I am not forgetting this story and will continue to provide updates. Sadly I will say that the wait time will mostly be because I won't start releasing until I finish the whole thing. This is because, unlike with the Avengers where I knew how the story went and could just fit in the Riordan characters as I wanted, this one is mine which means I need to write it all out and decide if I should add other parts to the beginning or middle later on. It's a delicate and important process. But all it means is that I am working hard to provide you with the best story I can.
Until then, some more Rick Riordan news. If you haven't heard, the big man himself will be teaming up with writer Mark Oshiro to bring a book centered about Nico and Will to the world. What I like about this is that they really are co-writing this series as Riordan knows these characters but Oshiro can bring the LGBTQ authenticity to them. So excited for more of Riordan's world. I'll have to see how I can incorporate it later on. Til then, keep reading all the great stories out there.
