So…Originally I was planning to have Yuki's story be just her and the Turtles taking down the Scarecrow and send him back to Gotham City and Arkham Asylum…But then I realized…Why is Scarecrow in New York at all? I knew he was being hired to make fear toxin for somebody initially I was thinking the Purple Dragons being led by Hun after the events of Turtles Forever but then I came up with a better and far more logical reason for the Scarecrow, I had recently listened to the Audio book of C.S. Lewis' 'That Hideous Strength' and I got to say…It was quite the experience I've also been following a Kickstarter of an RPG called Mutants in the Now and I think by checking in on the updates super early I was able to see something that was meant only for the backers because when I went back later the post I couldn't read it again I was able to read the early draft of the Mutants in the Now book including profiles of the Villains including Scientists Judith Noble and Roman Pike and having listened to That Hideous Strength after having read their motivations and goals Dang, they seem a lot like the villains of that novel so I in addition to it being more in character for Scarecrow to be willing to work with fellow scientists than for an 'Inner City Gang of Thugs' but once here is a chance to give my favorite Gotham Rogue a chance to show some sympathetic qualities when he learns more about his employers' goals and find out he's bitten off more than he can chew Scarecrow being in the position of the Selfish 'Robber Barons' Lewis describes who's evil hungers can be satiated but Noble represents the moral busybody pushing for Utopia who torments the world with the approval of her conscience. Thus these chapters had to take place away from Yuki and will be told in Third Person, it has been done like in the novel Dragonfly in Amber by Diana Galaldon

Jonathan was beginning to question why he had come to New York after that Cat Mutant had knocked over his table containing his precious ingredients for fear toxin…He couldn't clean than up yet, he didn't have the proper protective equipment, instead he just sat in his red velvet chair in another room and try to remember why he had decided to do this in the first place.

Once again he was low on funds and when he got the mysterious offer…Maybe it was because his will was getting weaker as he was older than when he began his Criminal Career (Granted not that long only five years) but he was a man in his mid-forties not exactly a Spring Chicken like Edward Nygma and a man's got to eat while plotting to spread terror and chaos besides these people claimed they did not care about his criminal past they were interested in his work regardless of the ethics of his experiments and in spite of all his attempts to claim his misanthropic heart had soured against all Humanity particularly after two failed attempts to reform Jonathan realized there was a glimmer of hope in this offer to go legit in becoming an employee of this company if he could never be a teacher at a great university again than he could at least his knowledge of chemistry and the human mind could be applied in this company seeking to create new technologies for the future.

But now all his work was destroyed by a creature that could have been one of Emile Dorian's runaway experiments…What was that thing she said when she knocked over his table? It sounded like the words 'Bone demon' Bones…Skeletons are often a subject of terror for both children and adults but it was a little odd that an animal well known for killing often for pleasure should be frightened of bones. But then again he wasn't sure if she was originally a normal cat or began life as a normal human like Kirk Langstrom or Anthony Romulus.

"Animals don't normally speak with clear articulate human voices." Jonathan said to himself as he took a sip of black tea, he had made for himself to calm his nerves after the incident. He sighed the idea of animals becoming as intelligent as human beings was possibly more terrifying a notion than anything his fear gas hallucinations could come up with for if animals really could become as intelligent as man than man's position as ruler of the Earth would be in danger after all the animal kingdom has a lot to hate man for, the domestic animals for years of being artificially bred often to the detriment of their health and either fattened for slaughter or kept as living toys called 'pets' either way completely at the mercy of their human owners and will creatures are hunted sometimes to extinction for their parts or because they've become an inconvenience to Humanity and sometimes are made to suffer a similar fate as the domestic creatures kept in captivity for entertainment purposes in menageries or circuses…

And that was when the phone rang…Jonathan knew it was from his mysterious employers…

Well, decided to leave it there for now…Keep a good bit of mystery about what they exactly want Jonathan for, next chapter will most likely be back to Yuki and the Turtles
