I think I'm gonna try to start making 'Pulling a Mikey' a thing in the TMNT fandom…Pulling a Mikey is when like Michelangelo you pull impressive feats of gluttony, I bought a bag of Ruffles Sour Cream and Onion Potato chips and ate the whole bag in one day and boy did my stomach regret it! Anyway this chapter was originally just more of Yuki being perfectly polite with her hosts as Don helps her with the Scarecrow's fear toxin but as I began rethinking the conversation she would have, since Yuki has lived a sheltered life in the Dojo but still free to be in the sun and fresh air I realized it would only be natural for her to…End up saying things insensitive to the Turtles' situation like she's not deliberately trying to be rude or mean it's just a combination of her sheltered upbringing not giving her a good brain-to-speech filter that's one of the things that makes a Mary Sue, a Sue if a character is nothing but sweetness and goodness that's not terribly realistic, a sign of good author is sometimes you can write your Darling as being in the morally wrong. Really it seems at this point the Mary Sue is nearly extinct at least on Fanfiction dot net but this was a pretty steep learning curve for me when I first started Fanfiction when I was a kid (I feel like Disney DIV sequels were to blame, specifically the ones with sequel kids who were always right and the original character parents got turned into jerks) Also flaws should make sense for the character this is the best way to avoid the 'Jerk Sue' where the OC is a horrible person but everyone still loves her

Yuki's POV

I told the Turtles the tale of my misadventure with the Scarecrow, and to the Turtles to extent of how much of a novice I was revealed, Leo and particular seemed to cringe at the descriptions of my every blunder…I think it was because he wielded the swords and it pained him to hear of a fellow sword wielder making those kinds of errors, but I didn't choose the sword Papa chose it for me as that was his area of expertise…Really I was already beginning to see I had more in common with both Don and Mikey, like Mikey I loved junk foods and watching Saturday morning cartoons and 'Creature Feature' Horror Hosting shows, and like Don I also liked to learn about science…I wasn't into machines and tech like Don I loved learning about biology particularly about creatures different from myself and learning about the natural world from Earth Sciences to learning about the secrets of Outer Space.

Finally I decided to stop beating around the bush and said "I think Scarecrow's fear toxin is still in my system, every time I fall asleep I keep having nightmares of him…"

"I'll see what I can do about that." Don said as once again I was picked up and Don carried me to his lab.

"I'll have to draw some blood." Don said "Do you mind?"

I asked if we should wait till the next day because I had already eaten.

Don shook his head "This isn't like normal blood tests…" He said "…You don't have to fast for me to detect this kind of foreign toxin…" As he tied the rubber band around my left arm, really for me that feeling was worse than the brief prick of the needle.

"…Hopefully once I analyze the toxin I'll be able to synthesize an antidote…" He was pulling back the fur of my arm to try to find my veins.

"If you need to shave some of my fur off I'll understand…" I said

"No, no." Don said "I can handle it…I've done this on Splinter a few times…He's got longer fur than yours…I can see you do have really small veins though…But don't worry I know a trick to this…"
With one hand pulling back the fur on my forearm, with the other hand he quickly bounced two fingers on the flesh, I don't know how he did it but he found a place to insert the needle and draw a small test tube's worth of blood.

"Hopefully I'll be able to figure out the antidote soon…" He said "…And you'll only have to suffer a few more nights of nightmares…"

I quickly tried to change the subject, "I hope I can return home soon…" I was already missing the Dojo's beautiful garden with flowers of every color of the rainbow. "I can't imagine living my whole life in this filthy stinking sewer…I don't know how you guys do it!"

Don seemed to stare in stunned silence for a few moments then his expression became pained…Clearly this having to live underground had pained him for many years "Yeah…" He said coldly "…We didn't exactly have a choice in the matter."

I just realized I had once again put my foot in my mouth "I'm sorry." I said

"Don't sweat it." Don said "I realize you've lived an entirely different life from ours, we may both be Mutants and we may both be Ninjas but we've had different upbringings."

Jonathan's POV

Jonathan had been given a place to stay in the Proteus Inc Building since a Mutant had discovered and invaded his lab in an abandoned building, it was fine, but something about it…Seemed to stir something in Jonathan's mind he didn't like…Everything in the room was white, the walls were white, the carpet was white, the bed, the chairs, the desk everything was pure white…It wasn't just his gloomy Gothic tastes that preferred everything be dark or Earthy colors that caused him to be repulsed at all this white.

'Anyone this obsessed with white is too obsessed with cleanliness and 'purity' He mused in his mind remembering that Judith Noble was dressed in only pure white as well

He turned to the papers he had been given to work on, first he poured himself some tea, once again the tea pot and tea cup were pure bone white…As he lifted the tea cup to his lips he remembered that cat, with pure white fur under those jet black ninja clothes…Than thinking about black caused him to think about those crows, he shuddered violently causing some tea to sputter.

He quickly put down the tea cup before he spilled all of it and he examined the papers, he was immediately baffled…These looked more like quantum physics and he was a psychologist not a quantum physicist…

"This makes no sense!" He exclaimed as he squinted at the papers "Why would she give me these? I can't make heads or tail of any of this…Maybe there was a mistake…Maybe she gave me the wrong papers…"

But some little feeling in the back of his mind told him not to go to Noble just yet, instead he decided to study the papers more closely to see if there was anything he could make sense out of…

Once again That Hideous Strength is influencing Jonathan's half of the story unless you've read the story you probably won't be able to see how
