Well…I wasn't sure where to go next, but then I realized I should move the plot along, while most of my stories tend to be doorstoppers I realized it might be better if this one plays a little more like an actual cartoon episode, that is the plot moves at a relatively quick pace I kind of realized there isn't any real reason for everyone to sit around for a few days doing nothing, even though that is what happens quite a bit in That Hideous Strength also, today I once again got lucky and managed to be able to take a peek at the updated PDF of Mutants in the Now before Julian Kay set it so only the backers could see it, rereading Judith Noble's Bio seems the reason she's trying so hard to free humans from all biological constraints is because her husband a famed actor had recently died from cancer and that seems to be pushing her drive to find immortality even if she doesn't get the chance to benefit from it, interestingly enough this is similar to one of the villains of That Hideous Strength Reverend Straik the 'Mad Parson' who was a 'good man once' but became deranged because of the death of his daughter, in this light Noble could be going insane on account of grief.

I kind of avoided Don for the rest of the day, fearing I would just make things worst…Though it seemed he cooled off a few minutes later and more or less forgot about it, I feared I had really ticked him off with my comment I mostly stayed in the sofa bed sometimes watching TV over Mikey's shoulder sometimes flipping through the magazines on the coffee table.

Supper time came and I was brought a tray containing a bowl of chicken soup and a glass of milk by Splinter.

"There is a thunderstorm going on tonight…" Splinter said "…I can see you can sense it without even knowing."

My tail had been thrashing wildly for the past couple of minutes, I remember Papa telling me that in Olden Times people could predict the weather by watching animals, a cat being unusually frisky or having 'a gale in its tail' meant stormy weather was on its way.

"I think I hurt Donatello's feelings." I said

"Oh?" Splinter cocked his head

"I was feeling homesick…" I said "…And I said I couldn't imagine living in a sewer all my life and…I think that ticked him off."

"Donatello has always been the deepest thinker of my children." Splinter said "There had been many a time he came to me as a child asking questions about our place in the world that I could not answer…However he did not seemed troubled what I saw him perhaps he has already stopped caring about it."

I went on to eat my meal as Splinter left.

I always have trouble sleeping during a storm, I know some people find the sound of rain soothing but I just find the sound distracting thunder and lightning make it even worse!

I fell into an uneasy sleep…I find myself in a barren desolate wasteland, the sky is gray, the ground is gray, everything is gray!

Then I hear the sound of a man screaming! I turned and saw Scarecrow, running away from a giant crow…It was as large as a condor! It was hounding him pecking at his straw hair.

"No! Stop! Leave me alone!' Scarecrow pleaded despite everything he had done to me I felt sorry for the Ghoul he was like…A naughty boy who didn't understand what he was doing and now with the tables turned on him could be seen for the weak pitiful creature he actually was…

Then things got even scarier as the crow grew even larger! Like as large as a Pteranodon! And all the feathers and all the flesh fell off its head and neck leaving only a skull on its body…

I must have been making some serious noise while I was dreaming because, Don came out to check on me…Probably fearing my nightmares were worsening, of course when he tried to shake me awake, I sat up and…Well if you could see it…And Don probably did in my blue eyes for a moment they glistened in all the colors of the rainbow, that's what happens when I use my psychic power…

Don never stood a chance, for a brief moment he temporarily lost his ability to control his legs and arms though he could still think and speak, he quickly fell foreward flopping onto the bed.

That was when I realized I had paralyzed a friend and with that the bio-manipulation was turned off.

Don gasped, in terror and for a minute flopped around on the bed before realizing he had motor control of his arms and legs again, after a few moments of testing, clenching and unclenching his fists, lifting one foot than the other, as the other Turtles and Splinter were coming, Don turned to me and asked me in a low voice…

"What…The shell…Was that?"

"That was…My psychic power." I said

I then told the Turtles and Splinter all about it…Apparently my magical mutation had given me an extra gift a 'Bio-Manipulation' the ability to paralyze another living creature with just my mind.

"Whoa!' Mikey said "You're like a real-life superhero!"

"I try not to rely on it." I said "Papa told me I should only use it in the most dire of emergencies…He doesn't want most to know about it lest the enemies of life find a means to counter against it…The enemies of life…" I then told the Turtles and Splinter the dream I was having before Don woke me up.

Splinter once again Splinter shut his eyes to concentrate for a few moments…

"Yes…" He said "…It's beginning to come clear now…Your encounter with the Scarecrow has given you a connection to him, the combination of his fear toxin with your own natural psychic abilities has given you a mystical connection to him, just like we did with Karai during the battle with the Tengu Shredder remember?"

"Master…" Leo said "…Do you think these 'Enemies of Life' have something to do with the Scarecrow's employers?"

"Unfortunately Leonardo, Yes…And I see we do not have much time…We must hurry at once…Yuki disregard what your Sensei has said, your dream is a signal that we must hurry!"

DUN DUN DUN! OK Folks prepare for next chapter it's gonna be a doozy!
