So…Just had a really stressful upsetting day, not gonna go into the details, I've calmed down immensely I just…Need to write this to tell myself a bedtime story so hopefully I can get to sleep and hey I can finally reveal how Yuki got that wound.

Jonathan's POV

Jonathan pulled some papers from his bag, "Here are her plans I swiped while I was there…I barely understood them because my primary specialty is psychology followed by chemistry to…Affect the mind, but perhaps…"

The Turtle with the Purple Mask called Donatello and the lovely young lady with her red hair tied up in a bun who had been called April took the papers.

"Thank you." Donatello said quietly

"Hopefully we can do something with these…" April said almost as quietly

After a moment of awkward silence, the Little Old Man said

"Perhaps Michelangelo should be put in his own bed, I fear for Yuki's safety since she was Mutated by Magic the Demons have great interest in her…"

The Turtles known as Leonardo and Raphael rose to take Michelangelo to his own room.

"Do you think Mikey will be all right?" The White Cat Yuki asked her adoptive Father

"From what I have been told about Michelangelo…I am beginning to feel I have faith in him…For of all the Turtles he…It's not so much he has the purest heart but he is the Turtle least likely to fall for Desolation's tricks."

"What do you mean?" Splinter asked genuinely curious to know

"His childlike heart…" The Little Old Man said "…His imagination from his comic books and movies…His imagination can grant him the ability to see around the problem where his other brothers would just try to go through the impenetrable problem…Leonardo and Donatello are very obsessed to rules, Leo because of Bushido and Honor and Donatello because of the natural laws of physics and logic…They might feel they have to play by their captor's rules and Raphael might think the only way out is the physically fight his captor but you can't punch out a spirit…Not normally anyway but if Michelangelo can see he doesn't have to play by the Demon's rules because the Demon's words are all lies than he can find freedom."

Donatello slumped "So you think I'm too obsessed with logical rules to figure out I just have disregard everything the Demon Bird says?"

"Well could you?" The Little Man asked "Desolation can be extremely intimidating in the Dream World and he loves making logical traps and fallacies that extremely smart people can fall into…While I wouldn't say Michelangelo is 'Too dumb to fool' his childlike heart gives him the ability to ignore what he can't understand in favor of what he can."

Donatello sighed despondently as he and April left to look over Noble's plans.

With the sofa bed free Jonathan went to it to relax, already his ankle was beginning to feel better…

"Professor Crane!" Came a Voice…It was the White Cat Yuki…

Yuki's POV

For some reason I felt the urge to talk to the Professor, I hobbled over to the sofa bed.

"Why do you need a crutch?" Jonathan asked

"When Don found me lying in a puddle, he told me I had a gash on my right leg…" I rolled up my pant leg to show him my bandaged…Is it my thigh? I know my legs are different from human legs because I'm digitigrade, I walk on my toes so where humans have their thigh is where my knee is but I'm not sure what else to call the upper most part of my leg.

"I was so numb with cold I couldn't even feel it then…I still have no idea how I got it, after you fear gassed me I have no idea how I got in the sewers."

"I think I know." Jonathan said "After I fear gassed you and you ran off screaming…I had to quickly get away from those spilled chemicals but not soon after I heard the sound of crashing and your feline screaming…I investigated downstairs the ground floor, seems under the flight stairs I had not yet traversed there were some rotten floorboards…You had fallen through them…Getting as close as I dared I noticed at the edge of one board there was some blood so I think what happened is you were pierced by some rotting wood as you fell…I figured you were as good as dead after as that but I suppose it is true what they say…Cats always land on their feet."

"Well." I said the muck probably cushioned my fall which wasn't so far I'd splat but yeah I've always been told I'm a lucky girl…"

Jonathan stroked his chin and said "Tell me…Your name, I'm know it's Japanese but what does it mean?"

"It means Snow…" I said "Papa wasn't feeling particularly creative when naming me so looked at my snowy white coat…"

"Of course…" Jonathan said "…Like when Americans named a white furred pet 'Snowy' or some variation thereof…While I appreciate the conversation Yuki…Aren't you scared of me?"

"Should I be now?" I said and I'm not sure what it was maybe because I wasn't mocking or mean when I said it that Jonathan got a bit misty eyed and quickly wiped his eyes

"I've never met anyone with such gentle sincerity…" He said trying to not cry as he clearly was getting a bit choked up "As you creatures…You Animals who have become like men and women…"

And I got the 'Feline Intuition' sense again that Jonathan had been lonely for a very long time and had since resigned himself to the fate that he would always be lonely and had given up trying to find friends or family…

OK I think I'll leave it there as just a sweet little emotional chapter
