I don't own any of this, Loud House belongs to Nickelodeon and FNAF belongs to Scott Cawthon.
Luan looked at herself in the mirror that's in her room one Friday afternoon. She recently got a call for a birthday party for Funny Business Inc yesterday that's schedule for four-twenty, so after getting home from school Luan put on her clown outfit and practiced some material for the party.
According to the mom who's hosting it, the party is going to be circus theme which was perfect for Luan. She already planned for some of the material she is going to do, like the infamous pie in the face gag.
Adjusting her rainbow, afro wig, Luan turned to Mr. Coconuts who is settled on the desk. "Alright Mr. Coconuts, you ready for the show?" Luan picked him up from the back to have him at eye level, the puppet moves his mouth to speak. "Darn tooting I'm ready! Those kids are going to love me!"
"Don't you mean us?"
"Oh yes, forgive me. My brain is a little bit wooden." Luan goes off into laughter from the pun Mr. Coconuts made. She then picked up her supplies of props and walked out of her room and down to the front yard, where she got on her unicycle and began to make her way towards her client's house.
The client's house is only four blocks away. It was a blue house with the typical black roof, it looked to be two story. Luan can tell that this was the house that the party is being held at, not only from the address, but also for the amount of cars that were parked for the party. "Here we are Mr. Coconuts."
"Oh boy! Little Billy's party is really going to be a blast now!" Mr. Coconuts exclaimed from the bag of props.
Luan parks herself at the front of the house, from here she can hear music playing from the backyard along with the sounds of children screaming and laughing. After placing a bike lock on her unicycle, Luan took out Mr. Coconuts from the bag. "Sounds like a packed house back there." Luan gleefully said.
"It's about to get greater, as the stars of the show has officially arrived."
"You got that right Mr. Coconuts. Now let's get this party started!" Luan rushes over to the gate, after opening it and entering into the backyard. Luan was caught completely by surprise as there was someone or more specifically something on the stage she was supposed to be on.
That something was an animatronic white and pink bear that wore a top hat with a pink stripe, a black bowtie, two buttons on its chest with a speaker in-between the buttons and bowtie. In his left hand is a microphone and attached to the right is a blue, bunny puppet that had rosy red cheeks and a black bowtie with one black button.
The bear lifted up his microphone to his mouth as he turned his head to look at the hand puppet who waved its arms around. "Hey Bon-Bon!"
The bunny puppet rests his arms on his side, he turns his head to look back at the bear. "Yes Freddy?"
"Interrupting cow!"
"Interrupting co-" Bon-Bon was cut off by Freddy making a loud cow sound, this resulted in a uproar of laughter from the watching children.
Luan watch perplexed as no one had told her that there was going to be an animatronic at this party. Mr. Coconuts spoke up to address this unexpected guest. "Who in the hay is that?"
"I don't know Mr. Coconuts, but it looks like we're sharing the show for today."
"There you are." The mother of the birthday boy approached, looking very apologetic. "I'm terribly sorry, I tried to call you earlier, but I was so busy with preparing for the party that I forgot."
"That's ok Mrs. Stockman, I can share the stage with the bear and his puppet. I can even do a puppet duet with him." Luan reassured.
"Actually" Mrs. Stockman stated with guilt. "I'm cancelling your service."
Luan is silent as she had to process what Mrs. Stockman said. Her service has been cancelled! That has never happen to her besides when the birthday kid got sick, bad weather, or very rarely when the kid got in trouble and the birthday got cancelled. Yet, her service never got cancelled on the spot.
"But why?" Luan asked dejectedly.
"Well, I found this robot service online and I thought that Billy would like to have a robot preform for him on his Birthday, instead of a clown." Mrs. Stockman explained.
Luan felt a bit offended by that statement, how can a machine be better than a clown? "I'm really sorry about this, I understand you traveled all this way to preform, but I'll make it up to you. I'll give you a piece of cake and still pay for the performance that you were going to do."
"Thanks Mrs. Stockman." Luan said with a small smile. Mrs. Stockman leaves to give her the money and piece of cake, leaving Luan to disappointingly watch the animatronic bear on stage who is telling the jokes that she should be doing right now.
"This is a bummer." Luan mumbled to her faithful puppet.
Mr. Coconut's eyes crossed down in anger over this outrage. "The nerve of these talentless hacks. Taking away our rightful performance, I should give them a piece of my mind."
"Now calm down, one sudden cancellation of our service isn't going to be the end of our business." Luan told him in reassurance as it really wasn't the end of the world, in show business sometimes someone is going to steal your performance right from under you.
"I still say we should give them a stern talking to." Mr. Coconuts pouted.
"Relax, we still got several more parties that booked us."
Luan and Mr. Coconuts stand there by the gate feeling rather awkward as the cheering kids they were used to hearing, were now directed to the bear and bunny duo, who in all honesty looked rather creepy looking.
Luan is soon given the money and cake by Mrs. Stockman who once again apologies for the situation. "It's ok, there's always next year."
Luan unlocked her unicycle and slowly rode her way back home.
Luna was surprised to see her sister enter through the front door, she didn't expect her to be home so soon as it usually took hours when Luan is at one of her performances.
"Hey sis, what brings you home so early?"
Luan looked to her dejectedly. "I got cancelled by the last minute."
Luna cringed at that, for she knew how that felt. "That's gotta feel rough."
Luan sadly places her props down onto the floor. "It was." She then went over to the couch where she flopped herself down. "Especially when I got replaced by a bear with a bunny, hand puppet."
"A bear and a what?" Luna asked in confusion.
"It's this animatronic thing." Luan explained.
"Animatronic? Don't they usually have those things in pizza restaurants or theme parks?"
"You think so, but I guess this one is special." Luan complains, she then let out a sigh for now she has unexpected free time and didn't know what to do.
Luna sat down beside her sister as she can at least give Luan some reassurance. "At least this is probably going to be a one time thing."
"You think so?" Luan asked a bit eagerly.
"Taken by my experience when I suddenly have someone take my band's performance. I say that the next gig you do, will be all yours."
Luan let up a smile over that thought. "Thanks Luna, that helped a lot." Luna patted her on the shoulder, then got off the couch to get a snack, leaving her sister to happily think about the next party she would preform at. She will make it grander in order to make up for today's cancelled show.
After all Luna was right, the next show will be all hers.
That's what Luan thought, but unfortunately for her, it turned out that the bear and bunny duo were extremely popular at the moment. During the next couple days turned to weeks, Luan's clients cancelled out on her in favor for that bear.
This is a serious issue for Luan as with no clients, her business is going to sink harder than a rock. What was she to do? Her Funny Business is her essential way of showing her comedy and other forms of entertainment from mimeing to skits towards children.
Her only hope is that the party she had booked for Saturday wouldn't cancel her. Luan really hoped that they weren't going to cancel her in favor of the bear she is beginning to dislike very much.
She just have to preform at this party, she couldn't let that bear shut down her business. She'll just have to show everyone that she was better than some scrap metal.
On the day for the party, Luan left extra early so that her client wouldn't get any ideas on canceling her, before she got there.
"Slow down there toots! We're going to end up like a banana peel!" Mr. Coconuts called out from the bouncing bag that she carried.
"No! I can't let that bear show up!" Luan cried.
"But we might get a ticket for speeding!"
"Just hang on Mr. C!" Luan told him. She speeds on through the sidewalk, many who were in front of her jumped out of the way to avoid being run over by a unicycle.
At last the two story, yellow house came into view and it looked like the parents of Little Suzy were still setting up the balloons for the pathway. Luan skids to a stop in front of the pathway, the mother is taken by complete surprise as Luan was expected to be there much later.
"Your early. I thought you were going to come at around noon." The mother said.
"Well you know what they say." Luan began, but then panted as that unicycle ride definitely made her loose her breath, after panting some more which made it rather awkward, Luan finally caught her breath. "The early bird, catches the worm."
"Oh" The mother tied down another balloon. "Your going have to wait for awhile as the party doesn't start until eleven."
Luan gets off her unicycle. "I don't mind on waiting. I can actually help you setup for the party, as I am a wiz at decorating for parties."
The mother smiled in appreciation. "That would be great."
Luan proceeds to help with the decorating, she places: balloons, streamers, the bounce house, the cardboard castle cutouts, the inflatable dragon, and helped bring out the food and cake to the table. It was hard work, but Luan didn't mind one bit as she viewed this as bonus points for her business. If people hear about her helping out with party decorating, this may bring in more customers as no animatronic can do this.
At last the final party decoration was set up which was a dragon pinata. After the pinata was tied to the tree, Luan can see that the party is going to start soon as the first guests have arrive.
Alright this was great, there was no way that bear can steal her performance now. Gleefully Luan went up to the backstage to get herself ready for her show.
She changes into her jester's outfit to fit the castle theme, after that Luan took out a few of her props as well as Mr. Coconuts who she placed on a chair. "Well Mr. Coconuts, it looks like we won this round." She told him before inflating a whoopee cushion.
"We sure did. Guess that bear isn't castle theme." Mr. Coconuts mocked.
Luan laughed in agreement. "You said it Mr. C." Luan inflates more whoopee cushions, upon doing her last one Luan's ears picked up two men grunting, as well as something being wheeled through the grass.
"Alright keep it moving, we are almost there."
"God, I hate wheeling this thing through the grass. You think with it being so advance, it can walk itself to the stage."
"Stop complaining, we made it to the stage stairs."
Luan looked up to the curtain curiously, she then heard the men huffing as they picked up whatever they brought, up the four steps, she then heard something being placed down along with a relived grunt. "I really hate doing that. One of these days, we're going to get a party with a one step stage."
"Well the hard part is over, we just need to roll this thing backstage."
Luan jumped in surprise as the bear, (who was stealing her business) came rolling through the purple curtain. The two men pushing the animatronic with a appliance dolly, didn't register the jester girl as they pushed the bear to the left side wall. They unstrap the bear and set him up in a standing position. After they were done with that, the two men walked out of the backstage leaving the jester and bear alone.
The bear's eyes locked on to her with his mouth closed, his puppet companion is raised up to the bear's mouth with the puppet's mouth open as he stared at his buddy. Luan couldn't believe it, what was he doing here? This was a castle theme birthday party, a bear with a bunny hand puppet isn't part of the theme.
The mother came through the curtain with a mix of a apologetic and annoyed look. Luan instantly felt dread going through her as she had a feeling on what the mother was about to say.
"I'm terribly sorry about this, but it seems like I no longer need your services."
Luan deflated like her whoopie cousin upon hearing that. "But why?"
"Believe me, I don't want to do this as I know your one of the best child entertainers in town. But my mother-in-law has taken the liberty to order this thing for Suzie's birthday party." She explained with clear frustration voicing over.
"Can't I just preform, before this bear does his performance?" Luan pleaded.
"I wish, but my mother-in-law is insistent that her choice of performance should be the only one at the party."
"She sounds like a handful."
The mother looked down to the floor in frustration. "You have no idea, and unfortunately my husband is a complete mama's boy, so he always takes her side even when she's clearly in the wrong."
Luan sadly looked down to the floor as clearly she can't convinced the mother for her to stay without grandma picking up a fuss. The mother felt extremely badly for this, it made her frustration towards her mother-in-law grow larger as that woman seems not to care about anyone elses feelings, except for herself. "Look, you were a great help for getting the party ready, so I'll pay you greatly for that service."
"Thank you." Luan glumly replied.
"I wish I didn't have to this. If that bear wasn't working, then you can stay and preform. It'll be a bonus to see my mother-in-law not getting her way." The mother smiled at that thought, she then leaves so that Luan can get ready to leave.
Luan stood there sadly, she was again being cancelled and this time she was here. A sudden rage went into her as she now turned to the bear, she was going to go out of business and it's all this stupid bear's fault. Why did people pick this thing over her? It didn't compare to a living clown. Luan had to do something about this, without thinking Luan went over to the bear and took off his hand puppet. Carrying the bunny in one hand, Luan stuffs it inside her bag of props.
A smug smile slowly formed on her face after doing the deed. This bear wasn't so grand without his puppet now is he? Now he would be the one to be cancelled.
The mother soon comes back with some money, she glance over to the bear and came to a stop after noticing the stump hand on which the missing hand puppet should be. "Where's the bunny puppet?"
Luan shrugged. "Looks like it fell off." Luan then shook her head in disapproval. "You can't have a malfunctioning robot preform for Suzie. It could really scare her."
The mother places her hands on her hips with disapproval towards the bear. "I suppose not." She then turned to Luan. "You think that you can still preform?"
"You bet I can." Luan pulls out a horn and blew it two times with a laugh.
Luan did one of the greatest performances she had ever did in her career. The kids laughed at each gag she did and jokes she told, in the very back of the crowd of laughing kids, Luan can just see the grandma standing near the sliding glass door with a sour expression.
Luan ignored that look as the other adults at the party were smiling that their kids were having a great time. This was going great! After this show Luan had a great feeling that her business is going to be skyrocketing like never before.
In the backstage, Funtime Freddy's eyes are trained right at her.
After the party ended at six, Luan is making her way back home smiling in pride over that performance she did, along with the money she had in her pocket.
When her show was finished many of the adults had given her their phone numbers, as well as future bookings which included one for next Friday. The grandmother was still salty over not having her preformer go on stage, but Luan ignored her as this party was successful.
"Well Mr. C, looks like we don't have to worry about that bear anymore." She exclaimed happily.
"You said it, his act is all but termite food." Luan laughed over that comment. "Yeah, I bet he couldn't 'bear' it." She goes into another fit of laughter.
"But in all seriousness, what are we going to do with the bunny puppet?"
Luan waved that question off. "Don't worry Mr. C, will figure out what to do with it tomorrow, as right now I need a good rest over our great performance today." Luan then kicked up some speed as the thought of spending a relaxing time at home sounded so good.
Luan finally made it home just as when the sun is setting behind the horizon. Upon coming home, Luan noticed that vanzilla is gone and that most of the lights were off.
Luan figured that her family were out doing their own things. She parks herself near the front steps, Luan jumped off her unicycle then carried both it and her bag of gags into the house after unlocking the door with her key.
Shutting the door with her foot, Luan went up to her room where she placed both of her stuff inside the closet. After all that, Luan could sure fill up her belly right now.
She made her way down to the kitchen where she immediately spotted a note taped to the fridge. Luan picked up the note and from what she read, her family had went out to attend one of Lola's pageants and that her dad had left her some mac and cheese bites.
Luan beamed in happiness after reading the last sentence. This is truly her day; first she stopped that bear from stealing her performance again and now to end the day just right, she gets to have her dad's famous mac and cheese bites. Yes, this is a great day for Luan, which could end even greater as she realized that the TV is open for the taking.
Eagerly Luan took out the bites and rushed over to the living room to catch up on the latest Saturday Night Live!
Luan laughed through the skits, while eating the mac and cheese bites one at a time. Luan got to her fifth bite when a thump from upstairs made her jump, she looked up to the stairs wondering what that noise was, though ultimately decided that it was probably one of the pets who jumped off a bed.
She happily returns back to watching her show where it just got into another skit.
Luan must've dozed off a bit because she opened up her eyes to find herself lying her head on the left arm rest, along with the end credits of Saturday Night Live playing on the TV. That wasn't all that was different however as on the coffee table is the bunny puppet, which looked up at her with its creepy smile.
Luan blinked a couple times in surprise as how did this thing get down here? "What's up doc?" She question the bunny.
The puppet remains silent, it just kept staring up at her. Feeling a little bit unnerved Luan picked up the puppet and carried it back up to her room, where she tossed it back into her closet. While closing the closet doors, Luan neglected to noticed that her bag had been ripped open and that Mr. Coconuts had his head ripped off.
Luan went back downstairs to clean up the container that she left on the couch, she took it to the kitchen where after cleaning it up in the sink, placed it back in the cupboard where the containers are stored.
Luan supposed that the next thing to do is to watch an episode America's Funniest Home Videos on Demand to finish off her Saturday. Luan just exited out of the kitchen when the sound of something scuffling around in the living room stopped Luan in her tracks. "What the?"
Again she figured that it was just one of the pets just running around in the house, that thought changed quickly when a little giggle fallowed shortly after the scuffling stopped. Luan felt a chill go through her spine as that was the creepiest giggle she has ever heard.
Luan raced into the living room, which was empty. Luan looked around from where she stood for whoever made that creepy giggle, she was very sure that it didn't come from the television as the giggle sounded too real.
"Is anyone here?" Luan instantly regretted asking that, as isn't that how characters in horror movies end up getting slashed up or eaten?
Slowly Luan checked around the living room; she looked behind both the chairs and couch, in the fireplace, and finally in the coat rack. She found no one in the living room, this confused yet otherwise terrified her as whoever giggled is somewhere around here.
Luan's ears picked up more scuffling from the right side of the couch, Luan quickly jumped on to the couch and crawled to the other side where she saw now no one there. This terrified her more as she was either beginning to go insane or that something was playing with her.
Suddenly she heard something climbing up on the back of the couch, very slowly. Luan sat up quickly, she went to look over the couch when the bunny puppet popped out, screeching loudly as he shook his head and slammed his paws on top of the couch.
Luan screamed loudly as she flinched backwards, she fell off the couch, just missing on banging her head against the coffee table. Now lying back first on the floor Luan stared up at the bunny who hung on the top of the couch, giggling at her.
Luan wondered what the heck was going on? Did one of her siblings come home and decided to scare her with the puppet?
The bunny crawled forward, he fell off the top and landed on the seat with his chest, he quickly sat up and crawled his way to the edge of the seat. This confirmed one thing to the terrified comedian, the bunny is somehow alive and is now coming after her.
The bunny leaped towards her, Luan ducked making the bunny hit the coffee table, he fell to the floor. Luan quickly grabbed him and threw the thing to the fireplace where it crashed against the bricks, he falls to the floor with a crash.
Her heart beaded rapidly as she tried to control her terrified breathing. It didn't last long as the bunny rose himself back up and looked back to her with a freshly made crack above his right eye.
Luan let's out a scream, she scrambles on to her feet. Luan raced to the door, she had to get out of this house right now! If she can reach her family before they got home, then she could warn them that there was a bunny puppet on the loose in their house.
Luan opened the door and utterly screamed again as right there in front of her is the bear. "I found you!" The bear spoke up, his faceplates suddenly opens up revealing the endoskeleton face underneath.
Luan turned around in a flash, she races up the stairs and into her room where she slammed her door shut. Now in the safety of her room, Luan sat against the door trying to rationalize this whole ordeal. Was this some type of twisted nightmare? It must be because there was no way that this was real! An animatronic can't just show up at your house with its hand puppet companion walking around on its own.
"Ready or not! Here I come!" The bear called out from downstairs.
Luan let's out a frightful squeak, she runs over to her closet where upon opening it she came upon Mr. Coconuts decapitated head looking up at her. Luan utterly gasped in horror and despair over the destruction of her life long friend. That despair didn't last long however as the stairs banged as something heavy climb up them.
Luan quickly ducked into the closet, she closed the doors to a crack, she sits there very terrified as metallic footsteps came closer to her room. Luan covered her mouth with both of her hands as the door open and those footsteps entered the room. "I know you're in here somewhere!"
The bear with the bunny puppet reattached to his stump hand, slowly walked into the middle of the room, he slowly looked around for any sign of her, he then turns towards the closest and his eyes turned red. "I know you're in there!"
Panic filled Luan, she bursted out of the closet and ran out of her room and into Lori's/Leni's room, she slammed the door and locked it up tightly. Luan then backed away to the middle of the room while shaking heavily, she jumped in fright as a series of bangs slammed against the door.
The bangs stopped as quickly as they began, but the silence is brief as the bear spoke up again. "Bon-Bon, go get her!"
A series of sounds soon came through the vents, that grew louder as Bon-Bon drew closer. Luan quickly grabbed Lori's pillow and used it to block the vent opening, one minute after putting it on she felt the pillow get pushed away a bit. Luan pushed back which wasn't that hard, she can just feel tiny punches push out from the other end.
Eventually the punches stopped and soon the sound of Bon-Bon moving away in the vents came through. Ok, she can manage this. They both can't get in the room, so really all Luan needed to do is wait and hope that they would both go away before her family gets home.
"Luan" A familiar voice called from the other side of the door. Luan turned to the door and listened. "Where are you Luan?"
That was her mom's voice! Oh gosh, she has to warn them quickly about the dangerous robot bear. Perhaps Lisa can deactivate and then dismantle it.
Luan raced to the door without thinking as her family is in danger. Opening the door she is once again met with the bear with his opened up faceplates, out from his mouth came her mother's voice. "We're here for you Luan."
The bear's chest cavity opens up and a claw reached out and tightly grabbed Luan by the midsection. Luan screamed loudly, which was quickly cut off as the claw pulled her in and crushed her within the body.
Funtime Freddy stood there in the hallway with his smiling face as a great amount of blood leaked out of his chest. The competition is now out of the way and he can preform on stage for the children.
Just like how it should be.
