The Prologue

Ronald Maurice Wilson, Jr. stood out in front of the Dallas Sportatorium. Ronald stood at about 6'2". A grizzly beard covered his mocha brown visage. It must have been to compensate for the hair loss, now that he was completely bald. His burly chest and shoulders almost seemed like he was about to burst out of his plain navy blue suit. The middle aged fitness guru and former reality TV star was back where it all started for himself. Sure, the Sportatorium was dilapidated and no longer seen as the hallowed site of many moons ago, but it was a start of a dream for him.

Many news reporters had gathered around Ronald. Many were just in shock and awe that one of Dallas's own had made it out and struck it big! It was big news that he had come back. And even bigger news that he requested to have his press conference in front of the Sportatorium, no less.

"Mr. Wilson, what brings you back home?" a faceless reporter asked.

"Thank you for that wonderful question," Ronald started. This was the announcement of a lifetime for the man. It was a boyhood dream! "Well, Dallas is home to me. This was where I gritted my teeth and paid my dues. While I haven't been here in the last several years, I have made it my mission to eventually come home and then give back to my community. I'm home, but I am far from empty handed as you can see."

"What do you mean by that?" Another reporter inquired.

"What do I mean by that? What I mean is that I am now the current owner of the Dallas Sportatorium." He gestured to the building that stood behind him.

The conference erupted into a frenzy. One of Dallas's own is now the owner of one of Dallas's historical monuments of yesteryear.

"Now that you're the owner. What is your plan?" The first reporter tried to bring back focus to the press conference.

"My plan is to bring professional wrestling back to Dallas and build up another legitimate major wrestling organization based in the Southern United States. And that organization will be Max Impact Pro. There will be no further questions. Thank you for your time." Ronald walked away from the cameras towards the limo situated at the back of the Sportatorium. He knew his journey was just beginning.

A/N: Hey, y'all, it's Mr. Ruff. I'm coming out with wrestling SYOC. It takes place in a canon where the Dallas Sportatorium does not burn down, but does continue to wither away and become more and more obscure as the years go by. Since I am just now starting to dip my toes into the wrestling fanfiction pond, I would rather that my promotion stay relatively small time and utilize more lesser known talents, or not as decorated talents.
