Chapter 4

Ichigo and Rukia left Kisuke's with their purchases. They bought two 12-gauge shotguns, twenty boxes of shotgun shells between them and two gun cases. They walked past the park and see children playing.

"We need to kill Freddy and Jason before they start killing kids," Ichigo said.

"One of us needs to bring Freddy into the real world," Rukia replied and Ichigo nodded.

"We need to have a conference call with our friends and come up with a plan for Freddy and Jason," Ichigo said as they arrived on their street.

"I agre-," Rukia stopped talking and they see police and two ambulances at Rukia's house.

They ran towards the vehicles until an officer stopped them.

"This is a crime scene. I'm going to ask the both of you to leave," the officer ordered.

"This is my house. What's going on?" Rukia asked terrified to know the answer.

"What's your name?" The officer asked.

"I'm Rukia Kuchiki," Rukia answered trembling.

"I'm Officer Bambietta Basterbine, and I'm afraid I have some bad news," Officer Basterbine said, and Rukia held onto Ichigo fearing the worst.

"What is it?" Ichigo asked.

"Byakuya and Hisana Kuchiki are dead. They were murdered thirty minutes ago. The murderer is still on the loose. We'll get him before he kills anyone else," Officer Basterbine answered solemnly and Ichigo held Rukia as she cried into his chest.

"The killer needs to be killed on sight," Ichigo said.

"We will arrest the killer, and the killer will be sentenced," Officer Basterbine replied.

"That'll work if the killer isn't Jason Voorhees," Ichigo said confusing Officer Basterbine.

"What makes you think the killer is Jason Voorhees?" Officer Basterbine asked.

"Officer Miller looked at the school's security footage showing Jason killing our principal and chasing our teacher," Ichigo answered.

"It makes sense that nothing has been taken from the house. Does she have a place to stay?" Officer Basterbine asked.

"Yes she does," Ichigo answered.

"Stay safe, and I'm sorry for your loss," Officer Basterbine said and left to her cruiser.

Ichigo carried Rukia and their purchases and walked towards his house as the ambulances left. Rukia cried all the way to his house. Ichigo opened the door and went inside putting Rukia and their purchases on the ground. Rukia ran past his family to his room and laid on his bed crying into his pillow.

"What's wrong with Rukia-chan?" Isshin asked concerned for his third daughter.

"Her parents were murdered thirty minutes ago by Jason Voorhees that escaped the cryogenic facility a couple days ago," Ichigo answered.

"That's horrible. We'll catch and kill Jason," Isshin said.

"Yes we will. Go and get Karin and Yuzu before anything happens at their school. Our principal got murdered today by Jason and I doubt we'll be going back anytime soon," Ichigo replied and Isshin nodded.

Isshin left the house to pick up the twins from school. Ichigo went upstairs and went inside his bedroom. He walked up to Rukia and sat on his bed putting his hand on her shoulder.

"Everything is going to be all right. We will kill Freddy and Jason," Ichigo said rubbing her back.

"They just came back from their trip to England. I was excited to see them again, and it was taken away from me," Rukia replied, turning around wiping her tears away.

"I know you were, and I'm sure they were excited to see you again," Ichigo said smiling at her.

"Thank you. Your smile always brings me comfort anytime I'm sad," Rukia replied smiling a little.

"Anytime. I'm going downstairs and bring our stuff up here," Ichigo said.

"Hurry up," Rukia replied thinking about her now bleak future.

Ichigo went downstairs and grabbed their stuff. He went back upstairs and went inside his room. He dropped their stuff by his door and went to his computer. He turned the computer on and opened up Discord Video Chat. He called their friends hoping they pick up. One by one they answered.

"I've tried calling Rukia, and she didn't answer," Renji said only seeing Ichigo in the frame.

"She's safe with me," Ichigo replied.

"Any news on Ms. Ochi?" Senna asked.

"No," everyone answered.

"What's the plan?" Uryu asked.

"One of us needs to bring Freddy into the real world before we kill him. Rukia and I will find Jason and lead him into a trap that we'll make," Ichigo answered as Rukia got off the bed and sat next to Ichigo.

"Hey guys," Rukia greeted.

"Hey Rukia. Are you okay?" Senna asked.

"No I'm not. I found out today that my parents were murdered," Rukia answered.

"We're are so sorry. If you need anything from us just, ask and we'll help you," Senna said.

"Thanks. I'm staying with Ichigo for the time being," Rukia replied.

"That's good," Orihime said.

"What place should we meet at before the final showdown?" Rangiku asked.

"My house," Ichigo answered.

"I believe that is all for now. Stay safe and stay alive," Tatsuki said.

"All right talk to everyone later," Ichigo replied.

"Bye," everyone said before disconnecting the video call.

"There's something I need to tell you while I have the chance," Rukia said looking at Ichigo.

"What is it?" Ichigo asked looking back at her.

"I'm glad we met as kids. We have this wonderful friendship where we can tell what the other is feeling. You cheer me up with that smile of yours. You protect me from bullies. After all the years we known each other; I have fallen in love with you, and I can't see a future without you at my side," Rukia answered holding Ichigo's hands.

"I fell in love with you too. You were there to comfort me after my mother died from cancer. My mother always loved you as her own daughter. I know my dad does," Ichigo said.

They leaned towards each other and had their first kiss. They pulled away and smiled at each other. They got up and went to the living room watching TV.

"Once all of this is over, we'll celebrate just the two of us," Ichigo said as they watched Chappy.

Night has fallen in Karakura. Orihime is at Tatsuki's place for the time being, until Freddy and Jason are dead. They are in Tatsuki's bed watching TV. Orihime is the first one to fall asleep.

~Dream Sequence~

Orihime wakes up from a noise coming from the window. She gets out of bed and saw a small rock hitting the window. She went over to the window and saw Uryu waving at her to come outside.

Orihime turned around and saw Tatsuki sleeping. She quietly left the bedroom and went downstairs. She opened the front door and walked outside. She went to the location where she saw Uryu at and saw no one. She heard a noise behind her and turned around seeing a raccoon knocking the trash can over.

An evil laugh was heard coming from the tree. Orihime slowly walked towards the tree. As she got closer to the tree, a shadow figure came out of hiding. Orihime scared and frightened, started running away from the figure. She ran into a dead end, turned around and saw a light on the shadow figure.

"Oh God!" Orihime shrieked as she saw Freddy right in her face.

"This is God," Freddy said as he showed his gloved hand to Orihime.

Freddy raised his glove as Orihime screamed. He swung his glove down and cut Orihime's arm. She pushed Freddy off her and ran as fast as she can. She looked back and didn't see Freddy. She turned right and ran into Freddy.

~Dream Sequence Ends~

Tatsuki woke up to Orihime's screaming. She sat up and saw Orihime thrashing on the bed. She got out of bed and took the blanket off the bed. She looked around the room to find something to wake Orihime up from her nightmare.

Tatsuki found a vase full of water on her windowsill. She grabbed the vase and threw the water on Orihime. Throwing water didn't wake her up, and Tatsuki started panicking. She frantically searched her room for anything that might help her save her friend. She opened her nightstand drawer and found a lighter she uses for candles.

Tatsuki flicked the lighter, sparking a flame. She took the lighter and moved the flame across Orihime's arm. Orihime stopped thrashing and quickly woke up. Orihime quickly sat up and scanned the room. Orihime saw Tatsuki closing the lighter. She left the bed and hugged Tatsuki crying.

"He al-almost kill-killed me," Orihime sobbed on Tatsuki's shoulder.

"Freddy or Jason won't kill you on my watch," Tatsuki reassured Orihime as she rubbed her back.

Orihime had let go of Tatsuki, and they went to the bathroom cleaning Orihime's wound. Tatsuki wrapped an old shirt around Orihime's arm hoping to stopped the bleeding.

"We should get you to the hospital to stitch you up," Tatsuki said.

"Hopefully we can make it there alive," Orihime replied and Tatsuki nodded.

Tatsuki and Orihime left the house and went to the hospital.
