(Monty Uno and his son, Nigel, arrived in front of a large building resembling to a mansion)
Monty: There you go, son, we're here.
Nigel: So this is the new home of Uncle Benedict and my new cousins ?!
Monty: It looks good. At least we can say that my little brother has a good taste for architecture. (They stopped in front of the front door)
Nigel: Dad, I know you're happy to see Uncle again, but ...
Monty: What's the matter, Nigel?
Nigel: Well ... The last time we saw him he just looked at me badly, like he hated me and it's not just with me. He also did this with all the children he saw.
Monty: This is insane, son. It's not like he's gonna touch your little hair.
Nigel (feeling his father, rub his hair): No, Daddy, stop! Aouch aouch ! (Monty stopped and rang the doorbell. They heard someone arrive and he opened the door)

Monty (hugging him): Benedict, my little brother! How is it going ?

Monty (releasing Benedict): So like that, you have children.
Benedict: Adoptive children, rather.
Monty: Well, it's probably a good time for Nigel to go meet them. Where are they now?
Benedict: They're in the dining room but are you sure you shouldn't ...?

(After a little search Nigel found the dining room and came across 5 children, who appear to be his new cousins, who were busy writing something. They were 3 boys (who were wearing blue uniforms with gray badges, ties red and brown shoes) and 2 girls (who wore white sailor dresses with matching sky blue stripes and scarves, white shoes and pink socks) with icy light blue eyes. The first boy had blonde hair, the second was the tallest of the 5 children and had brown hair that covered her eyes and the third had darker skin and wore a red helmet with a white stripe in the middle. The first girl had long blonde hair and wore a pink bow on her head and the second had dark skin with dark brown pigtail-braided hair tied with a red hair tie and wore glasses.)
The 5 children (grinning as they notice Nigel): Hello, Nigel Uno. Nigel: Uh, hello ... How did you know about my name?
The 5 children: We heard it while your father spoke with mine in addition to confirming your presence.
Nigel: And ... what's your name?
The 5 children (greeting Nigel): We are the Delightful Children From Down The Lane.
Nigel: Alright, ... Why are you all talking at the same time? It would be easier if ...
DCFDTL: We talk like that because it's part of us. (Nigel was confused) You are a curious person, Nigel Uno, a little too much. However, you don't have to stand there in front of the room. Why don't you come a little closer? (Nigel approached a little but with a little caution) We know that you are a little ... doubtful about us but we promise to be good children. We always have been.
Nigel (standing next to them): In that case ... I noticed you were writing something ...
DCFDTL: Now that you say it, I was preparing invitations. In a week, it will be our birthday and all the children in the neighborhood are invited. Also ... Apart from your more than questionable curiosity, it would also please us if you came during these festivities. We'll give you a little surprise in return.
Nigel: For the surprise, I don't know ... However, it would be disrespectful to refuse an invitation to your birthday so ... Yes, I will be there.

Monty (arriving near the room): Nigel! Now is the time to go. Your uncle had something important to do so I couldn't hold him back any longer. How was your meeting with your new cousins?
DCFDTL: It was a pleasure meeting our future cousin, Mr. Uno.
Nigel (a little suspicious): It was ... Special. They invited me for their birthday next week.
Monty (walking towards the exit with Nigel): Ah, that's good. I'm sure this will allow you to get to know each other better.
Nigel: Yeah ... If you say so ...
(Once out of the house, Nigel and his father walked home without suspecting that the DCFDTL were watching them from the window.)
DCFDTL (speaking to themselves): When all the guests are here, including you, Nigel Uno, our surprise will be delightful. (they gave a devilish little smile)
