Chapter Ten. At World's End Continued.

Meanwhile on Lord Beckett's ship, Mercer had told Cutler about the Pirates are meeting somewhere and also he told him about the woman from the future and that got Beckett really interested about her indeed when he learns more about her ancestors with Pirates.

It was starting to sunset and they were still sailing through Davy Jones' Locker. There was some food on board, but no water and even no rum to drink. The Pirates were very thirsty and pretty fucking pissed off by this that there was no more rum on the Black Pearl. Some of them think that there was no way in hell to get out of this dreadful Locker. And some of them think that there was a way to get out of there. They will soon find out sooner or later.

Elizabeth was sitting on the stairs, going towards the ship's helm, grieving over her father's death from earlier and Will was standing, leaning on the rail, watching in between Elizabeth and seeing the sun going down by the minute. The sun was a beautiful orange going to red looking color. It was a pretty sight to see.

Pintel and Gibbs were sitting against the mast, picking up bottle trinkets to their mouths and they realized that there was no more both rum and water. They tried to get water or rum from the bottles they could find. "No water." Pintel groaned before putting his arm down with the bottle in his hand. He sighed deeply tiredly. "Why is all but the rum gone?" He asked Gibbs.

Gibbs lifted his arm with his bottle in his hand and he tried to get the rum out to his lips, but there were none in it. "Rum's gone too." He said with a tired sigh.

Meanwhile, Tia Dalma walked up to Will and she stood next to him as she watched the sun setting as well. Feeling concerned. "If we can not escape these doldrums before night." Dalma said, nodding towards the sun. "I fear that we will sail on trackless seas, doomed to roam to reach in between worlds... Forever." She added as she rested her arms across the rail.

Gibbs stood up and he walked over to where Elizabeth, Will and Tia were at the rail. "With no water forever looks to be comin' a might soon." Gibbs said as he sighed tiredly.

Though, Ragetti looked at the monkey as he covered his eye with his hand just before he started chasing Jack. The monkey then drops the wooden eye onto the navigational charts. Will turned around from the rail and he glared up towards Hector and Lara. "Why doesn't he do something?" Will asked, feeling irritated. Though, he wanted to do something instead of people not doing something.

Sparrow saw this and noticed Ragetti's wooden eye on the charts. Jack shrugged his shoulders and he began rolling the wooden eye on the charts back and forth. Gibbs looked out towards the ocean. "There's no sense to it." Gibbs shook his head. "Sunrises don't set." He added.

"And the green flash happens at sunset, not sunrise." Will said, shaking his head as he gazed back out to the silent ocean and no wind blowing.

Gibbs took a deep breath. "Over the edge... Driving me well over the bloomin' edge." He said with irritation. He wanted to get out of Davy Jones' Locker without a backward glance. This was getting everybody starting to feel overwhelming over this situation for everyone out on deck.

Captain Jack Sparrow watched as Ragetti's wooden eye still rolls back and forth on the charts as he was figuring a way out with the charts. The words were lined up as it read 'Up is Down.' "Up is down?" He asked himself this. "That's maddening the unhelpful." He said with a deep breath.
"Why are these things never clear up?" He asked himself as he tapped his fingers tips on the map. The only people near him were Barbossa and Lara, who looked at Sparrow with an eye roll, thinking that he was nuts or something. But they were still trying to find a way to get out of this dreadful Locker.

Jack was still not a bit himself when he was struggling with himself of figuring out of what to do and finding a way to be getting out of this damn Locker and everything would be back to normal. Sparrow had two little Jacks on his shoulders. He was a bit hallucinating there, but he was still figuring out of where to start at first. And then, something popped into his mind. "Not sunset." He said as he looked at the charts more closely.

Jack touched the charts with tips of his fingers as he turned the picture of a ship upside down. "sun down and rise... up!" He said. He figured it out. It was a fucking riddle for God's sake. No one else could figure it out. But Lara and Jack could. Sparrow bolted up to his feet. He lifted his hand towards the left side of the Black Pearl. "What's that?!" He shouted loud enough for everyone on the ship to hear him before he rushed over to the port side. Hector and Lara looked at Jack with confusion at first. Lara smiled from ear to ear. She knew as well when she looked at the charts closely while Sparrow and Barbossa were arguing back and forth. Lara also figured it out as well. The other pirates on the upper deck went over to him, wondering what he was going at. "Over there!" Sparrow barked. "I don't know. What do you think?" He added.

Gibbs rested his hands on the railing as he squinted his eyes, looking around to where was land. But there was none. They were still out on open sea. "Where, Jack?" He asked Sparrow with confusion. Jack then started rushing from side to side when everyone followed him to know what he was doing. Elizabeth was snapped out of her deep thoughts and her grief at the moment when she began to watch them, wondering what was going on. Why was the Black Pearl rocking back and forth? She thought to herself before she stood up and she followed their lead.

Over by the ship's helm, Hector and Lara looked on with curiosity at Jack as they saw him started to rush back and forth from side to side. They both glanced down at the charts to find out what was what. Lara eyes widened as she placed her finger down at the picture of the ship turned upside down. looked up at Barbossa into his eyes as she gave him a smile. "Hector, are you thinking what I'm thinking? We need to get the hell out of here and quick before it's too late." She said to him. They all need to get the hell out of Davy Jones' Locker and fast before it's really too late. Pintel and Ragetti watched with wondering. Then Ragetti had an idea what it was.

Barbossa stared up at her and he gave her a warm loving smile. He knew that she was right indeed. He rested his hand over hers. "Aye, that it is, Lara. He's on to it." He said to her before he took her by her hand and they rushed towards the stairs to the lower decks. "Haul together, men!"
Hector yelled as they got to the top of the stairs. Lara looked down to make sure that she does not trip on anything. "Time it with the swell!" He shouted as he grabbed the rope rail. Barbossa held her hand as they both walked down the stairs to below decks. He saw the men with a scowl on his face. "Loose the cannons ye mangy built rats!" Hector shouted at them to get their attention. Captain Barbossa let go of Lara's hand for a moment when he rushed over to where the barrels were at. Unstow the cargo! Let it shift!" He barked as he used the axe to cut the rope so the barrels roll around.

Lara rushed over to more barrels were at. She turned her head at the men. "Come on! Get your asses up and help us about you scally wags!" She shouted as she took out her sword and she cut more of the ropes to release more barrels. She placed her sword back into her holster. Barbossa smiled at what she just said. The Pirates followed their orders and they helped quickly roamed about while the ship was rocking back and forth. Everything was released and now, it was now time to go back up on deck. "Hector!" Lara yelled loud enough for him to hear her. Barbossa looked at her and he knew what she was thinking. He rushed over to her and he gently grabbed her hand and they climbed back up the stairs to rock the ship with Jack and the others.

"He's rocking the ship!" Both Pintel and Ragetti now understood and the pieces had fallen into place.

Ragetti ran over to him with some thick rope in his hands. "We tie each other to the mast" He said to him. "Upside down, so we'll be right side up when the boat flips." Ragetti added. It may be odd, but it sound right to Pintel, who quickly followed him to the mast.

After they climbed to the upper deck, Hector and Lara held each other's hands as they ran from side to side. Barbossa did not want to lose Lara when the Black Pearl flips upside down. He would make sure that she held on to him. Captain Barbossa was falling for her more everyday. The sun was setting quickly when the ship was just about to go under water. Everyone's hands grabbed and held on tightly to the railing and they all were holding on for dear life. Making sure they don't fall or worse. "This is 'up is down!" Jack said to them. Pintel and Ragetti were now tied to the mast. Lara and Elizabeth looked at one another and they both nodded. Madame Teague told everyone to hold on and they did as much as they could. Jack, Hector, Lara and the others held tightly to the ship's railing and everyone held their breaths before the ship flipped upside down.

The sun completely set and it flashed green over the horizon. Everyone on the ship were being pulled upward and a big splash came about. The Black Pearl was now sailing on the surface along the open sea once again. Finally there was a sunrise. Everyone on deck felt relieved that they were no longer in Davy Jones' Locker. They escaped that dreadful place at last. They were back to normal for the time being.
