"How much distance we've got, before the targets are in sight?" I asked in a unassuming tone as one of my squadron girls scanned around before giving me the answer.

"Shouldn't be much further now from where we first sighted them!"

"Got it. You can't fight them. You simply won't stand a chance, I will take things from... here." Seeing her trying to protest against the idea. I sent her a glare to not.

I watched for any sign of enemy activity and focused my sixth sense. I had already been directed toward the possible locations of Akagi and Kaga and I couldn't be much further now. because the 'presence' was much stronger than it was before, This feeling... almost like a sort of something nearly touching you. was nearly blatant now.

I had transformed mid-way though into the same clothes and outfit I was familiar with. Flame Eyes and Burning Arisa. red skirt, a light pink-white shirt complete with a sort of red half-jacket that i couldn't find the words for. complete with red and white lines as well as armored hands and a blue sphere on my chest. This power was still as overwhelming as it was when I first done it, It was like some sort of storm raging inside me. wishing to be let out.

However. When I transformed, my sense of emotions became... lesser. As if my capacity for them was diminished. According to memory, that shouldn't happen. This was with the CPUs of Neptunia. But that certainly didn't happen in Sailor moon or Madoka magica or Lyrical nanoha... Was there something about my own magic that could be the reason why? Why was i behaving like Ayanami Rei in some ways all of a sudden?

Shaking my head, I pushed aside the thoughts as I checked everything to make sure they were right. I knew Akagi or Kaga could use a form of magic-Then again. Some shipgirls like comet did. But this was pretending magic, Not actual. real magic. with the ability for reality warping and other abilities straight out of Touhou or Konosuba. Let alone the massive explosions in Nanoha. And when it came to such magic... I would have to make a example out of them. Another reason for my transformation.

"Reinforce, Are all weapon systems and fire control free and green to go?" If i wanted to make sure this ended properly, Nothing could be wrong. Even the simple misfire of a gun or my sensors malfunctioning could lead to a sudden reversal. And combined with me being alone...

"Yes. Mistress, All weapons are free and not malfunctioning of suffering system errors." She intoned back. Kinda weird, I expected USN or russian equipment to malfunction at just the wrong time here...

Thinking of something to give her recognition for... I was strangely enough having a hard time thinking of anything. I decided to settle on something that might reach out to her. "T...Thanks for making sure everything is smooth... Rein." This got a reaction from her as I felt puzzlement. which gave way to surprise, then gratefulness. I felt a phantom hug around my chest.

Feeling comfortable like this. I would have closed my eyes, but right now I had a historical precedent to settle with the First carrier division. And right now, I couldn't afford to be distracted. As Reinforce Eins got around to ensuring everything was armed and ready. I changed course which my squadron followed in unison as i narrowed down their location. It couldn't be much further now.

Oddly enough, At the same time I was also feeling stronger for some reason. I knew my transformation did make me stronger, But feeling stronger than i already was at this time? That was strange. It was like i was able to run around nonstop like a sweets-crazed Mutsuki. I knew i did read up a bit on DND websites and Touhou but... Surely I wasn't having something like Fallout's nighttime perk. was it?

Pushing away the implications, I could feel Akagi and Kaga... Of at least what must have felt like them. Like a song half-heard in the distance. I was going to admit, I liked my sixth sense so far and in a way. I did want to 'level' it up if possible. Even if my sensors were lost, It would still always be there.

"So, What are we going to do? Enterprise?" One of the Siren shipgirls asked me in a worried voice, Of course she would have to be. Carriers didn't normally go around alone and in most Kancolle fanfics they are usually shown as disliking being left alone and that they hang around in groups. Even I was feeling somewhat nervous. too.

Whirling around my head. i lowered my gunblade as I decided the reply was obvious. "I will fight Akagi a-and Kaga alone, But if you see any other enemy ships. You are to engage and delay them, The battle against the First carrier division is mine's alone."

Shaking her head in question. The girl decided that she wanted me to reconsider the decision, It was obvious considering I was pretty much the only Magical girl Kansen and I was the famous CV-6 ship. But i was set into my beliefs that I would duel just the two-Akagi and Kaga.

"B-but Enterprise. You've going to be unprotected if we do that! Surely we should stay with you instead?" Groaning at her response. I shot back at her with a firm and emotionless tone trying to hide the nervousness as I thought about what might go wrong.

"Don't question it. Just go when I face Kaga or Akagi, And don't worry. I've handled myself in worse situations before... And something like the two of them won't stop me!" I forced a smile at her gently as she wanted to complain in a moment of silence but a hand up told her not to.

As we turned our attention back to finding where the First carrier division was. Worry was beginning to build up in me as I thought about what I was going to run into. True, Akagi and Kaga right now would not be a match. Certainly not when I was intending to go all-out on my Ship and Arcane offensive. But there were so many things that could go wrong just because I happened to be there. As I began thinking of all the ways I could screw this up. A sight interrupted me.

Looking closer as I squinted. It looked like the sights of... Yes. Akagi and Kaga! Any further conversation was interrupted when the sighting was made as it looked like they were preparing a attack on something, To what end I was unable to tell. But even the anime of the games at their worst never captured well just how freakish the design. Of just about any cat or dog-girl were when you were facing them off against as enemies. The otherworldly machinery design that didn't look like it connected to the flight deck. The overly-big chest (From my perspective) structure. The tails all combined together to produce an otherworldly. roguelite-like presence. But then again, If you considered my Magical girl powers and then theorized that I was in fact a Puella Magica and not a Nanoha or Sailor moon or Touhou-esque Magical girl combined with the fact my design didn't even have a historical base. I was just as freakish and unnatural.

Witnessing what must have been one of my historical enemies with my own eyes instead of through a TV/Phone screen? Yeah. It was too hard for me to just ignore. Especially given I was supposed to be a Magical girl that hunted and defended against monsters, and Akagi or Kaga could technically qualify for monsters right now.

"I see nothing but them, Leave me be. Turn around and hold in reserve. As it stands, You have no chance against the best Azur lane has right now. And historically, I am the best chance against these two abominations." I spoke the last word with a hiss, As If i loathed the idea of them being in my sight.

"Y-Yes. Enterprise, We will hold and wait. But if things go south. We will try to assist you!"

"That is about the answer I just expected, Now go. Go!" Affirming. My escorts split off and began turning around as I was getting closer. Was it a good idea though? Maybe, Because it didn't take long before Kaga spotted me approaching rapidly as I saw her beginning to exchange words with me.

And that was a nice sunset. I had to admit.

Facing me. Kaga scowled as she saw who the approaching shipgirl turned out to be. And Akagi was.. Well. Akagi, from what I was seeing. "It's you... The traitorous grey ghost of the Eagle union!" These words hit something within me, However just like before. I felt little to no pangs of sadness and regret. Only just... a stoic emptiness in its place.

"Y..Yes. I am the Grey ghost, Enterprise." Giving them a blunt and straightforward reply would have to do. I saw Akagi and Kaga hastily aiming and preparing whatever they had at me, Although with my newfound abilities they wouldn't amount much to anything more than scratch blows.

"Why have you come here? What are you seeking by pursuing us? Of are you reconsidering your choices?" "My. Kaga~, You should be more careful given this is the Grey ghost we're talking to~" Not flinching under Kaga's gaze. I shot back with a completely unamused look as i tightened my grip around Flame Eyes. I already had a spell in mind to begin the action once the battle began.

"Come? Here? I see you were able to launch a attack on something, Or perhaps. since we are enemies now. We are just old... Old rivals inflicting friendly fire on each other. divided by who we believe in... But I am modern, You. are all. Obsolete." I powered up RADAR and all sensors relevant for this fight as autocannons began searching for targets.

"Obsolete? The first carrier division is not to be looked down on even when we used to fight together... What do you simply plan to do against the two of us together as sisters. Grey Phantom?"

"...Hmm.." I considered my response... Wait, This might work! "No..." I narrowed my eyes and scowled in silent hatred. I was going to see this through, no matter what as I prepared one of my skills. "My real purpose here... IS TO FIRE A LASER AT YOUR FACES!" Practically screaming. I aimed Flame eyes as quick as I could and pressed down on the trigger. firing Ramiel's beam with nothing more than a silent chant.

A single. Sky-bright purple beam lanced through the evening sky. It went straight and true. But Akagi and Kaga were barely able to avoid the incoming beam in time... But it still grazed Akagi to horrible effect as I saw her bow being melted down by the sheer energy behind that blast.

For once. I was on the offensive-Just as i heard Akagi scream in pain and I began attempting to seize control over the battle.

However, That skill had took a lot out of my reserves given the power behind that attack. I was closing fast, sure. But I was still some distance and they were already preparing strike aircraft toward my direction. Even as I ran and jumped to get closer at a frighteningly fast pace. They were still able to get a few bombers in the air and even start peppering me with a few guns. A few missed Triple Shots lately, I was about to scream. I wanted one of them to be off-guard but it was at the moment when I saw that through maneuvering. Akagi had positioned herself nicely with her back facing Kaga. Both of them also were now vulnerable as well.

I smiled.

"Mistress. Incoming!" Reinforce Eins warned, cutting through my own satisfaction.

From the skies, Dive bombers were above and rolled before entering a dive. I could see the bomb crutches and airbrakes were already activated. aiming for a carrier who was in a vulnerable position given she was alone with nothing but presumably what may have been suitable AAA during the time of Midway.

Unfortunately, That same carrier was armed with the best General-electrics and Rheinmetall plus Raytheon had to offer and had to defend against more than just dumb projectiles.

"Reinforce! Millennium cannons!" That would mean wasting AHEAD bullets. but right now I wanted to be sure they were good as scrap metal. And if it meant a few precious programmed shells. So be it.

I did the next thing that came up to my mind as Reinforce began doing so. I started locking-on to the incoming dive bombers and recalled what memories Enterprise had along with the basics I learned, Complex direct speed readouts. altitude and threat bearing flowed through my mind which in turn Reinforce had already synchronized with were quickly affixed as useable firing solutions for the Tome.

"How pathetic." I murmured as Reinforce pulled the triggers. Bursts of 35mm AHEAD programmable ammunition shot out from the tips of the cannons before the guns did the same to other planes. With deadly precision by WW2 standards, they burst apart into pellets as soon as their time fuse expired. They fanned out into a spiral pattern as puffs of grey smoke lit up in front of the bombers.

The effect was quite spectacular, It was like I was watching a few tens of 88-105mm+ AA shells explode. but they were small and they were detonating exactly where the designers wanted them to be. These were tested to turn even small unmanned vehicles and rockets into cheese that had been eaten by Jerry. And in the case of the dive bombers, who were a bit bigger than Rheinmetall had in mind. The effect was immediate as they all caught fire before proceeding to go out of control. I had severe doubts that even freakishly heavy of stupidly rugged aircraft with lots of weight to lose like Heinkels or Hellcats would have survived that burst.

"H-How interesting..." Kaga had just saw a handful of her dive bombers-Which had probably destroyed who knows how many-all wiped in out just several seconds by a few medium AAA-class guns. Losing that many in such a short time when you were experienced was going to be a shock from what i suppose. Then again, without SAMs in the mix...

Accelerating even faster as two pairs of orange wings materialized behind me. I prepared to swing the device in my hands as I let out a cry, Kaga having her eyes wide at how ungodly fast i was getting closer as she put up her hands to-

The Fiery blade of my gunblade clashed with Kaga's desperate defence. The brutal force behind this swing was most definitely not Kansen and did not fit such a small body. a bright reaction took place as I pushed against Kaga with all of my strength before her defense broke and I rammed my elemental energy blade into her hull. digging and tearing out what I could before I jumped away to flee briefly.

"Yaarrrugguhhh!" Kaga screamed just like in the anime as I saw a bad looking hole from where I had just skewered her with Flame Eyes. It didn't look critical. but from how pained she sounded, It must still have took a portion of her out as I heard Akagi screaming for her sister.

Not giving Akagi a chance to rest by firing a few yellow bolts at her with my hands. I charged at Kaga again. ramming into her as the impact caused my barrier jacket to flash. From how bad it sounded, If it wasn't for my outer armor plating in the form of clothes. I would have walked away from the collision with a few deformed bulges at the least.

Nevertheless, Barrier jacket of not. it was still a unpleasant experience, And it didn't even prevent the water from splashing all over my face. but that didn't stop me from resuming my offensive as I attacked at a blindingly fast pace. Using my own magical reserves up at a rapid pace as Kaga again tried to put up a desperate defense but failing, The speed in which we were attacking and defending against each other was between possible and impossible. It was like time was passing a lot slower.

"Is this what i expected from my old rival!? You can't even do anything!?" My eyes glowed a emerald-green shade as I noticed Akagi at the edge of my vision already trying to assist Kaga. I saw a few plane-shaped objects in her hands as she shouted at Kaga to break away.

That wouldn't fly, I refused. I would not allow Akagi to do so. She had to be reminded of Amagi's fate with what was going to happen to Kaga. And nothing would stop that as my eyes stared at her as if to confirm the other Kitsune was paying attention.

"Relying on each other like useless kittens!" I tensed my hands as with a kick I sent Kaga stumbling back. too stunned to do anything as my imagination began preparing a usable skill for use. already quickly being worked into a usable special attack while Reinforce assisted in doing so. "Bloody Dagger!" Reinforced also intoned as at the same time. Numerous Red rings of Kunai-like daggers appeared around me before shooting out both into Kaga and Akagi leaving behind trails of red light. The daggers slammed into the both of them causing a explosion of red as with my thoughts coursing. I decided to set to resuming my beatdown of Kaga first.

Gritting my teeth and scowling as I panted lightly from my magical usage. I took the opportunity and ran straight at Kaga who was still coughing and looked worse for the wear. black stains and breaches in her rigging apparent from that spell of mine... But i didn't even give her a break as I began my assault on her again. The sound of steel striking steel echoed again.

"Heeuhu! Kaauuhhh! Aaugh!"

"Aaugh..Ugh! Uargh!"

Both of us were without words. A few tens of slashes and a clumsy counter from the Fox connected... but only one sound was made, I didn't even draw back from a second assault. My weapon got pushed downwards into the water just... barely. And my barrier jacket wasn't even showing any signs of damage before I became vulnerable to actual damage.

"Not bad at all. Kaga." I just commented. slowly raising my gunblade.

"This pain... How did..." I heard Kaga muttering. "Somehow..." She sounded partially amazed, Despite the immense power difference and the fact she was just a regular and no Magical girl she managed to keep standing in the face of that overpowering rush.

"You know..." I smiled. "A real battle..." I poised Flame eyes as the wings behind me disappeared. "Is supposed to be like this!"

I began my onslaught again as I tried to push Kaga back despite my alarming rate of magical reserve usage. Deciding i had to end this sooner, I attempted to feign being tired as I started to slow down and I leaned on my weapon making it a opportunity.

Just like I expected in my tired mind, The fox in white charged to take advantage of the situation. with the conviction that my powers were beginning to burn theirselves out. "Just sink! Enterprise!"

The sound of metal and flames hit her counter and forced her back. "Wha-?" Kaga gasped out before looking around to see if there was anything that could have interfered.

"I... am rather disappointed. Kaga." My voice forced the Fox who had a hatred for the weak to look at me directly. "Is that all you could do?"

"I misjudged you.. Of maybe I was wrong..." I sighed In a way that almost made it sound like a soft cry. before it became full of anger. "But I certainly saw it!" I tightened my grip around Flame eyes as I became irritated at Akagi again trying to interfere. Just one more second...! "Back when we briefly trained against each other! That flame of your own determination!" I forced Kaga back as I used Bloody Dagger a second time to delay Akagi and resumed my nonstop barrage.

Glaring at her, I doubled down as a seemingly invisible attack forced her back more. Then again. And again... And Again... I was swinging and slashing at such a ferocious rate that even it would put Pretty cure to shame as I didn't even feel a blow that Kaga managed to land against my Barrier jacket in desperation and fear at such a super-charged opponent before her as I finally managed to impale Flame eyes in her machinery... next to a critical location.

"And now I will give you the wish... of being the weak to die against the Strong!" Not giving her the chance to say anything. I simply just tore out the top half of her hull as I flew up and began preparing Ramiel's beam again.

"Mistress. Are you sure you want to..."

"Reinforce, We will do this! Now!"

"Angel of Thunder! Ramiel's Beam!" With my cry, The surrounding area began to feel warm all of a sudden. A sphere of light built up at the tip of Flame eye's blade as my eyes again started to glow a emerald-green and a Midchildian System circle appeared below me as I could have passed for a Little enterprise version of Code-G in the anime during episode 7. Whatever I was building up, this was going to destroy everything it met.

"...Wha..." Kaga looked on and began to think quickly, She had to know there was no way for her to avoid it. Not with just how badly injured and damaged she was from what I had just done. "I-I don't... How...?" She just spoke to herself. "How did...Enterprise...become so powerful...?"

Not looking away. I narrowed my eyes before I silently gave the command to fire. Light filled everything as the beam itself slammed into her. exploding in a massive cloud of purple and orange as a ball of orange light took the place where Kaga was. Even I had to put a hand up out of memory from the blast alone as I began to pant from just how much that attack had ate into my reserves.

When the smoke cleared... Kaga was gone, She wasn't there anything more. A quick scan confirmed she wasn't there... I had done it, She was gone by my hands.

"All this time you said that if you are the weak. you become stronger, Well... This time... You've the obsolete one. And I am the new generation meant to replace you... I guess you never understood the implications of someone being much stronger than you... Kaga-san." I bit back a slight feeling of sadness as I spoke my last words to the shipgirl I had once considered my old rival. She may have followed her ideas of the strong dominating the weak to the point of her doom... But could she have been convinced?

A scream tore my attention elsewhere as I saw Akagi. very angry and surprised over what I had just done. "ENTERPRISE! What... What did you do to Kaga!?" She growled menacingly at my direction and for a good reason, I had just killed one of her sisters... And above all else even outnumbered 2 to 1 I was still dominating them without so much as resorting to my ship abilities as the Grey ghost and instead had relied on my Magical girl abilities as Burning Arisa.

Shaking my head I decided to give her the reply she so much deserved. "She got what she believed in, The strong dominate the weak. The weak... get eliminated, Didn't she say it very often? That such is the fate of the weak and the obsolete flotsams?" And without so much as a warning, I flew straight at her in a diving attack. giving the grief-stricken Kitsune no time to react as the collision sent the two of us crashing out forwards into the sea.

"And your sister was supposed to be my equal!?" I began slamming my device into her nonstop without mercy. mixing in a punch as she tried to counter with Aircraft... Only for me to let her and then just end up blasting them to shreds with AHEAD ammunition. "Don't JOKE WITH ME!" I screamed out as Akagi just only shouted and yelled at me angrily in response as my own attacks were becoming more furious and powerful even as I was tiring out.

"You never showed a change in pace!" Another swing chopped off a portion of her flight deck. "You kept doing the same goddamn thing over and over!" I flared. my anger was becoming severe at my memory of Kaga. "This disappointment... YOU even faced off together against me as I was alone! And yet still you call yourself the first carrier division!? You've nothing more than useless garbage! Even your unbuilt sister... Amagi..." Another angry swing and Akagi was sent plummeting down to the water as I proceeded to grab her... and with a mighty heave throw her, sending her flying. "Would have been more useful than you!"

"Aauauahhhh!" Akagi screamed at being hurled by me as she was sent sprawling onto the water. I landed some distance away as I looked at her with contempt and loathing.

"You know what? You should just perish like your sister, But at least i may give you the courtesy of doing so with my greatest attack!" Before Akagi could even get her bearings. I grabbed her as I dismissed Flame eyes. gripping her hull hard as it began to creak and groan in protest, my strength alone threatening to crush it as elemental flames began to build up at my hands.

"I...I..." The Kitsune tried to speak. but between the situation and effectively being choked she didn't even have the chance to utter out a single word. She just held onto my arms pitifully as rivets popped and components began to break and fail. Victory was close as I doubled down.

And rather than crush her, I decided to slam her down onto the water as for some reason I decided not to. Still, I stood over her with a look of contempt and silent hatred in a scowl as I shook my head lightly. "...You know, I am not going to. Seeing as you're obsessed with your Commander." I continued on as I ranted at her. "At least your sister may now share the fate of Amagi. which i am pretty dear sure is responsible for your behavior. You're just obsessed with your commander. And you were clingy to Kaga out of fear of losing her, But seeing as she was weak. She deserved to perish."

Again Akagi tried to say something. but she was unable to, getting out nothing other than groans and moans of pain.

"...You know, You look weak indeed like a puppy. As I feel sorry toward you for some reason.. I will let you go for now... But remember, Next time.." I turned around as i prepared to depart the battle. leaving behind this scene of destruction and smoke behind. "Next time we meet each other again.. You are mine alone to duel!"

Feeling exhausted beyond belief. I left. Leaving behind Akagi who was powerless to do anything against a Young enterprise, and worst of all... now had noone with the fact that Kaga was gone. joining Amagi in her abyss...

"Oh dear, Enterprise.. You.. You've..."
"You made it out against Kaga and Akagi? What was it like?"
"Jeez, You look really tired. I think you deserve rest!"
"I can't believe you took out Kaga... And you spared Akagi, You simply dominated them like they were nothing to your whims!"

Returning to my home base of operations. I was greeted by several shipgirls. most of them destroyers as I tiredly and stumblingly limped around. My fellow companions at the same time also preparing to stand down. That battle sure had took a lot out of me as I was barely able to function with my magical reserves exhausted from how fast I had burned through it. The fact I used two skills that must have accounted to a FGO Noble phantasm only added to my exhaustion as well.

"Y-Yeah... I.. I am just..." Feeling myself walk and hit my arm against a wall as even Reinforce seemed to be feeling the strain. The operation had been too much for me as I simply passed out. tripping down onto the floor.

"Enterprise-Oh god!"

Little Enterprise has unlocked the achievement 'Avenge Midway' for killing either one of the First carrier division sisters without losses.

Little Enterprise is slowly learning Homing Arrow and Divine Buster.

35mm guns were not mentioned before. but they were added last minute to provide a fast if limited deadly capability. "These digital-controlled cannons in the fews fire 37mm-class shells at a astonshing rate and have the programming unit for AHEAD airburst ammunition to set fuze bursting at a pre-set distance from the target. Designed to destroy the wings and aerodynamics of even the smallest missiles and attack boats. Use them with caution and don't waste too much advanced ammunition for several kills at once."
