Disclaimer: I don't own Supernatural. If I did, it would still be on.

This story is unbeta'ed so all mistakes are mine.

A/N: So, I've started over on Supernatural. Going through old episodes, I saw something that I felt had some missing scenes. So, here is my take on what happened in those scenes.

Tag: Season One; Episode Three - "Dead in the Water."

Summary: These two scenes are from two different parts. The first one is after Sam pulled Andrea out of the tub; the other is Sam and Dean packing when they were about to leave town.

Dead in the Water-Extra Scenes

When Andrea caught her breath, she felt a damp jacket placed over her. Looking over, she saw the sole of a Puma shoe leaving the bathroom, closing what was left of her door.

Shakily she stood up, clutching the jacket. Letting her body go through the motions, she reached for her robe to cover herself. She looked forlornly at the tub. What was supposed to be a relaxing bath turned into a terror of suffocating water. Just the thought of sticking her arm in the tub to drain the water made her stomach drop and chills crawl up her spine. Andrea rushed out of the bathroom with a dripping jacket no longer having the strength to stand in the room any longer.

Sam heard Dean trying to calm Lucas down in his room. When he walked to the door, he saw Dean crouched down by Lucas' bed. The child was trying to keep hold of Dean's leather coat. Dean was trying to soothe the boy to "Hey Jude."

Sam was flooded with memories of his brother doing the same thing when he was younger and had woken up from a nightmare and was afraid to go back to sleep. Seeing Lucas fighting rest but not succeeding made Sam smile. No one could resist Dean's singing. Not that he could sing great.

Dean walked out of Lucas' room after the boy finally went to sleep. Dean passed by Sam, gripping his elbow, not saying anything.

Sam followed without saying a word.

Walking into the kitchen, the brothers sat down at the table.

"We shouldn't have left," Dean growled.

"Dean, we didn't know this was going to happen," Sam said, trying to calm his brother.

"I knew there was something wrong," Dean said, standing up and beginning pacing. "This is what happens when I don't follow my gut."

"Dean."

Dean knew Sam was right. Sighing, he sat back down at the table across from his brother. He pulled a different sheet of construction paper with another crayon drawing.

"What's that?" Sam asked, pulling the drawing to him.

"When we got to his room," Dean said, rubbing his hand in his hair, "the kid shoved this in my hand. Again he was trying to pull me close to him. It took a lot to get him in the bed. It was just like…."

Dean didn't continue, but Sam knew he was talking about him. Sam's nightmares were terrible. Hell, they still were awful.

The drawing had three stick-figured kids standing next to each other. It looked like they were wearing some kind of uniform. The three kids were inside a square with those squares inside a larger square. There were two other squares on the paper. Inside the other three squares were more stick-figured kids; one was a group of kids standing in a pose; the other was a single child. In the top corner of the drawing was a date.

"Looks like it might be an album," Sam said, looking at the drawing.

Before Dean could reply, Andrea walked into the kitchen.

"You alright?" Sam asked, looking at Andrea.

Andrea nodded and sat at the table.

"Do you have old photo albums around?" Dean asked.

"Why do you-," Andrea started to ask before being cut off.

"Please," Dean said with a little more force. "Do you have old photo albums?"

"Uh, yeah," Andrea sounded distracted. "In the basement."

Dean looked at Sam. As they normally do, Sam understood the look he was getting. The brothers giving each other a slight nod, Dean walked out of the kitchen.

AT THE MOTEL THE NEXT DAY

Dean was quiet when they got back to the motel the previous night.

Sam didn't try to ask what was bothering him. Sam didn't have to. He knew what it was.

"You okay?" Sam asked after packing his duffel bag.

Dean looked at his brother and could tell that question had been burning his brother's tongue all night. Slightly nodding, Dean went back to packing his clothes.

"I'm okay." Dean shrugged. "How about you?"

Sam looked over at Dean, surprised by the question. "What do you mean?"

I saw how you looked when Jake confessed what he did," Dean said. The shirt he was about to pack was still in his hand.

"I-" Sam started.

"I know bullying is still a sore point with you," Dean said cutting off his brother from the lie he knew Sam would spout out.

"I'm fine." The look Dean gave him; Sam sighed. "Look, it was hard to hear. It was horrible what they did. But I'm alright. You made sure I was."

Dean nodded. And the two brothers silently went back to packing their bags, so they could put this town in their rear-view mirror.
