Carrie (2013)/Superman Crossover Prompt 1
A few months after Superman made his presence known to the world, an earthquake strikes the small town of Chamberlain, Maine. Carrie White, daughter of the religious zealot Margaret White, was visiting the local park during one of the rare occasions when she could leave her house when the quake struck. The ground shook and buildings were rocked back and forth. A fissure opened up in the ground beside Carrie and she fell in.
The terrified teen was sure that this was the end when, suddenly, she found herself gently caught by the firm grasp of a man who appeared to be flying through the air. He wore a blue suit with a large S on the chest as well as a red cape on the back. Unknown to Carrie, her savior turned out to be none other than the alien man himself, Superman.
Superman set her down in a safe location and said "Don't worry, you're safe now" before flying off to help other people who needed his assistance. Carrie was watched him fly off with wide eyes and felt completely dumbstruck. She wondered how anyone could fly like he just did. Due to Carrie's sheltered life, the girl never learned of Superman's existence until now. Snapping out her amazed state, she rushed home to see if her mother was alright.
