Welcome to my cartoon crossover re-enactment of the interactive horror video game, Until Dawn. I'll be going back and forth between this and my Gravity Falls/Uncharted rewrite Now the characters in the actual game are all young adults. Here, I wanted to include kids characters and have them aged up. Also, the non-human characters in this are humanized.

-Spike the Dragon (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic) as Matthew "Matt" Taylor
Minor characters:
-Amity Blight (The Owl House) as Hannah Washington
-Nikki (Camp Camp) as Beth Washington
-Skips (Regular Show) as the Stranger a.k.a. "Flamethrower Guy"

Also, the game has many different outcomes depending on the choices the player makes while controlling the characters. So I'm gonna write this in the scenario that I prefer the most.

Prologue
(On Blackwood Mountain in the Canadian Rockies, a lodge is being used as a vacation home for a rowdy group of high school students. One night during a snow storm, a teenage girl with peachy skin and turquoise hair tied in pigtails, stands in the kitchen by a window. Outside, a mysterious figure walks near the lodge and stares at it from the woods just outside of it.)
(Inside the lodge just out of the kitchen, teenagers Luz, Diamond Tiara, Pacifica and Dipper stand around. Dipper, Pacifica and Diamond Tiara look giddy while Luz looks nervous. Pacifica sets a piece of paper on a counter.)
Diamond Tiara: (whispers excitedly) Oh, my God! I can't believe you actually did this.
Pacifica: Shhh... shhh... shhh...
(They keep their voices down so those in the kitchen nearby don't hear them.)
Luz: (skeptical) Don't you guys think this is a little bit cruel?
Pacifica: Oh, come on. She deserves it.
Luz: It's not her fault that she has a huge crush on Dipper.
Pacifica: Amity's been making moves on him. I'm just looking out for my girl, DT.
(Pacifica leaves the kitchen. The others follow her.)
Diamond Tiara: Just because he's class Prez doesn't mean he belongs to everyone. Dipper is my man.
Dipper: (rolls eyes) Hey, DT. I'm not anybody's man.
Diamond Tiara: (teasingly) Whatever you say, darling!
(The enter a guest bedroom where their friends, Ronnie Anne and Spike join them. Luz leaves the group and heads up some stairs to the upper floor.)
Luz: (calls out) Amity!
(In the guest room, Ronnie Anne laughs as she hides behind a closet door. Spike hides in the closet itself. Pacifica and Diamond Tiara hide under the bed while giggling. Dipper stands in the middle of the room they hear footsteps outside.)
Diamond Tiara: Oop!... She's here... Shh!
(The door opens and a teenage girl with pale skin, aquamarine hair in a short ponytail, and a butterfly tattoo on her arm enters the room holding a candle.)
Amity: (smiles) Dipper? It's me.
Dipper: (smiles) Hey, Amity.
(Back in the kitchen, the other girl Nikki, looks out the window and catches a brief glimpse of the figure outside before it moves out of view.)
Nikki: (curious) Hey... Did you see that? I thought it'd just be us this weekend.
(She turns around when there's no response.)
Nikki: Max?
(She walks over to the counter where her brother Max and his friend Lincoln were sitting and resting their heads on the counter as they were both passed out. Nikki sees several empty beer bottles and cans next to them.)
Nikki: (stunned) Jeez, Max. Once again, you've outdone us all.
(She then sees the paper at the end of the counter and reads it. It says: "Amity, you look so damn hot in that shirt... But I bet you're even hotter out of it. Come to the guest room at 2:00 am. ;) -Dipper XXX")
Nikki: (disappointed) Oh, my God. What'd our naive sister get herself into now?
(She looks back at Max and Lincoln and they're still not moving.)
Nikki: (sighs) Intervention time.
(Back in the guest room, Dipper and Amity face each other smiling.)
Amity: I got your note.
Dipper: Glad you could make it. Maybe we should start with a little... you know, making out, and see where it goes from there.
(Amity blushes hard and slowly starts to unbutton her shirt.)
Dipper: (excited) Ohhhhhh, hell yeah.
(Under the bed, Diamond Tiara and Pacifica see the whole thing.)
Pacifica: (amused) Oh, my God! She's taking her shirt off!
(Amity hears her and quickly covers herself with her shirt.)
Amity: (surprised) What...? Oh, my god!
(The others come out of their hiding places. Amity notices Spike with a phone recording everything.)
Amity: (embarrassed) Spike!? What are you doing here?!
(Dipper sees how uncomfortable she is and gets nervous.)
Dipper: Uh, I'm sorry, Amity, this all got outta hand, but...
(Luz suddenly enters the room.)
Luz: (assuringly) Amity! Hey, honey... Don't... it's just a...
Amity: Dipper...!
(Amity runs out of the room.)
Luz: ...stupid prank.
(Dipper and the others all start to feel guilty.)
Dipper: Uh... damn!
Luz: (angry) You guys are jerks. You know that?
(She leaves the room. The others go after her.)
Luz: Amity!
(In the kitchen, Nikki catches a glimpse of movement outside again. She tries to wake up the two unconscious boys.)
Nikki: Max. Max! Lincoln!
(She shakes their shoulder but they still don't move.)
Nikki: (frustrated) Fuck.
(She runs out the kitchen.)
Nikki: Guys! There's someone outside!
(She then sees the rest of her friends heading to one of the exits of the lodge.)
Nikki: (confused) What the hell...?
(Luz goes out a door that's already open. Dipper, Pacifica, Diamond Tiara, Spike, and Ronnie Anne follow her out.)
Luz: (calls out) Amity!
(Nikki runs up to them from inside.)
Nikki: What's going on? Where's my sister going?
Pacifica: (annoyed) Ugh, it's fine, she just can't take a joke...
Diamond Tiara: (calls out) It was just a prank, Am!
Nikki: (angry) What did you do?!
Dipper: (innocently) We were just messing around, Nikki... It wasn't serious -
Nikki: You JERKS!
(She runs out into the woods to search for her sister.)
Nikki: (calls out) Amity!
Dipper: So... should we go after her?
Luz: (sternly) Y'know I kinda think you're the LAST person she wants to see right now, Dipper.
(Nikki runs down a dark path to try to catch up with Amity.)
Nikki: Oh, shit!
(She avoids rocks and logs in her path as she runs. She eventually finds a fork in the road and follows the path with footprints in the snow. She then runs into a small herd of wild elk that run off when they hear a strange noise. Nikki is startled ass well.)
Nikki: Huh?! Jesus! Fuck, shit!
(She continues moving on.)
Nikki: (panting) Dammit, Amity... where are you?
(She takes out her phone and turns on its light. She starts walking and looking around more carefully.)
Nikki: Amity!?
(She searches the area for her sister and hears nothing but the cold wind blowing.)
Nikki: Hello? Hellooo?! Amity?!
(As she passes a nearby hill, a blast of fire suddenly appears out of nowhere behind the trees on the hill and the sound of something shrieking in agony is heard.)
Nikki: (stunned) What the hell was that?
(Soon, she reaches an opening behind some bushes and finds Amity crouching down in the snow sulking.)
Nikki: (relieved) Amity!
Amity: Hello?
Nikki: Amity! Oh, my God you must be freezing. Here, take my coat.
(Nikki approaches her and removes her coat. She puts it around Amity.)
Amity: (crying) I'm such an idiot! I'm so dumb...
(As Nikki comforts her sister, something lurking behind the trees nearby spots them. Its eyesight vision sees all redness, but the girls are lit up in bright light-blue like heat signatures. The girls hear an unsettling screech coming their way and become frightened.)
Nikki: Amity...?
Amity: Nikki...?
(Another screech is heard and the two take off into the woods. They cross an old wooden bridge where Amity stumbles. Nikki helps her up but drops her phone. It falls through the floorboards as the sisters keep running. They don't know where they're going and eventually reach the edge of a cliff.)
Amity: Oh, Jesus Christ!
(With nowhere to run, they turn around and see nothing but still hear the screeching. The thing that chased them still has them in its sights from behind the trees. The girls slowly back up to the ledge while holding hands.)
Nikki: (terrified) No! Shit! Get back!
(The thing starts to approach them. Before they can see what it is, they both fall over the edge.)
Nikki: Fuck! No! Argh!
(Nikki clings onto a branch on the ledge with one hand while holding Amity's arm with the other. They can't see the top of the ledge anymore. A flame appears out of nowhere above them on the ledge followed by a shriek of agony.)
Nikki: Hold on!
(The dark figure that Nikki saw before appears above them and looks down at them. The girls are terrified as it leans down and lends them its hand. Amity hangs on for dear life and sees what Nikki will do. Nikki looks up the figure and is too scared to trust it. Because of her hesitation, the branch cracks. She looks down at Amity.)
Nikki: (gloomily) I'm so sorry!
(Then the branch breaks and the two sisters plummet from the cliff into the deep, foggy gorge below screaming in terror. Nikki slams into a rock at the bottom and tumbles into a mine shaft. Her body lands right next to Amity's and they both lay still.)
The game waits until the first official chapter to introduce the main characters, so their rewrite will do the same. Right now, I apologize for seemingly killing off Amity and Nikki right away. I really like both of them, but they are only here to fill the roles of Hannah and Beth, the two girls whose disappearance in the beginning kickstarts the plot.
I casted Nikki as Beth, the sister of Max's character Josh, since they're close friends. And Amity is their sister Hannah because she was friends with Sam, who is played by Luz. Also, Amity and Nikki both have blue-green hair. They could sorta pass as sisters.
