This is a fanfiction, a work of fiction. It is an unofficial, non-canon alternate story based on Hiroshi Shiibashi's story "Nura Rise Of The Yokai Clan" and Thomas Astruc's story "Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir". Most of the media - such as the images and video's used in this fanfiction - are from the web. Thus, most of them aren't mine (because I really, really can't draw) unless mentioned. To fit the story, images are also edited by the photo editor. So they aren't mine, just edited.

P.s. I also ask that you do not copy my work and publish it onto any other website (I jump around on a lot of fanfiction websites...) If you're gonna use my idea, please ask me (I'll 99.99% say yes unless you're super duper rude). If I don't contact you within a week, then just assume I'm giving you the all clear and go for it. Marinette Dupain-Cheng, sick of Lila's lies, decides to take her parents' offer, to take her and Tikki (unknowingly ofcourse), and leave Paris and head to Ukiyoe town to live with her cousin Kiyotsugu, and his family. She fits in pretty well in her new school, building a new life for herself there. But you know what they say, you can take the girl out of the fight, but you can't take the fight out of the girl. Well, Marinette would be perfectly happy riding the streets of the villains at night, even if she has to take them out one by one. But Yokai, they were not part of the deal. How the hell is she supposed to deal with Yokai's if they keep growing on her, especially this annoying supreme commander who claims to be her mate, and just won't leave her alone!

Marinette stormed up the stairs enraged.

This was it!

She was officially done with Lila and her lies!

Paris could deal with both her and Hawkmoth on their own!

They weren't her problem anymore!

Sure she would miss Adrien, Chloe, Kagumi, Nino, Juleka, and Luka who had been her only friends through this ordeal, but she could still easily keep in contact with them through virtual means.

Her parents had been making her this offer for some time now.

But now, she was going to accept it.

It was time for Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Ladybug to leave Paris and take a one way trip to Ukiyoe.

"So. Let me get this straight. You're a yokai, and you think-"

"Oh I know. I'm 100% sure."

"Fine. Whatever," yet she still changed her wording, "You know you're my mate. So what the hell does it even mean.?"

Marinette took a step back as he moved closer to her, eventually her back touched a wall.

He slammed the palm of his hand against the wall over her head, startling her and making her jump a couple inches off the ground. He leaned in closer so she could feel his warm breath touch her neck's pulse point and send shivers down her spine. "Well it's in the name, mate." He says teasingly. Causing her to blush a bright cherry red that could put the ripest of tomatoes to shame.

He flashes her a smirk,

and then.

In the next moment,

he's gone.

Disappearing with the wind.

Leaving Marinette with her back against the wall, her jelly-like knees barely being able to support her weight. As she struggled to regain her breath.

"Dam it!" She cursed.
