It was another day in Konoha, the people were bustling about their businesses and on a lone window sat Konoha's number one knucklehead ninja. Naruto sat still on the window sill of his apartment as he watched the civilians.
It had been two months. Two months since Pain had attacked and the construction of Konoha was going smoothly. A smile tugged on our favorite knucklehead ninja's face as he watched the civilians. He remembered the day he had successfully defeated Pain all too well. He had arrived with Kakashi to a grand reception. The villagers had finally accepted him and he couldn't have been more happier.
But he couldn't understand that nagging feeling that there was something missing and it must be important if the stinky fox was anything to go by.
"I heard that!"
Naruto chuckled. He was used to his fiesty temper by now. He then looked down at the civilians and his eyes drifted towards the book shelf.
'Pervy-sage...'
Sure he had died for the sake of the village but even so the pain hurt just like it did when he found out about the old man. He thought about all those who could have died during the invasion.
'Only Kami knows who else could have died. Kakashi-sensei, Choza... hell even Shizune! And...'
And before he knew it, his thoughts then drifted towards a certain kunoichi.
'Hinata...'
Damn, there was that feeling again.
To be honest, Naruto didn't remember what happened . Til date he still couldn't understand why Hinata had come to his aid and although the fox had offered to tell him what had transpired he had refused. He just didn't think he was ready to know what Pain had done to Hinata that had caused him to release the nine tails. And that's were that insistent nerve struck again. Naruto raked a hand through his blonde hair in frustration.
"What is up with me?"
"You really shouldn't be talking to yourself."
Naruto was a capable ninja but that didn't mean he didn't have his moments. Thus hearing the new voice, Naruto had promptly fallen off the window sill and unto his butt. Naruto glared at the new occupant.
"What the hell, Kakashi- sensei!"
The accused lifted his head from the book he was reading and gave him an eye smile and Naruto glared harder as he rubbed his butt.
"So what were you thinking?"
"Nothing important, anyway why are you here and in the morning, ttebayo."
Kakashi shrugged."The Hokage wants to meet you."
"Granny is up!!!!"
Kakashi nodded and suddenly all anger towards his sensei was gone.
"Then what are we waiting for, let's go, ttebane!!!"
Kakashi smiled at his student as they left his apartment.
Hinata fiddled with her fingers. She was currently in the Hokage's office waiting along with everyone else. Team Gai,7,8,10 hell even the Sand Siblings and Team Bee were here. And strangely enough so were their sensei's and their guardians namely Kibayoshi and Mebuki, Hiashi, Tsume, Shibi, Shikaku and Yoshino, Inoichi and finally Choza. Normally Hinata would have been stressed under such conditions but her mind was occupied by her... confession.
'Naruto...'
Hinata didn't regret what she did. If another situation like that was to pop up she would do it again with no hesitation but now she wasn't sure how their relationship would be. It had been two months and he hadn't responded though he had spent time with her whenever they got the chance. She sighed. Maybe it's for the best if things remained like this. She sighed again.
"Oi, are you okay Hinata?
Hinata took a glance at her team who looked worriedly at her and smiled a bit as she nodded in affirmative. Trust her team to be so caring. Suddenly, Naruto came all but bursting through the door.
"Granny!!!"
Hinata giggled. And trust Naruto to be so unexpected.
It was then Naruto noticed that the room was packed.
"Oi, Gaara! What are you doing here and BEE!!!!!!"
"Yo, Naruto!"
Gaara nodded. Naruto grinned his signature grin but the moment was ruined when his head met the floor.
"That's for being late!"
"Ow, Sakura-chan..."
A throat was cleared and all eyes turned to Kakashi.
"Well, now everyone is here we could begin."
"Begin what and where is Granny?"
"I'm right here."
Naruto turned to see Tsunade leaning on the door looking healthier than before. Tsunade smirked at the wide eyes and gaped mouths and was about to comment when she was suddenly glomped.
"I never thought I'd see you again.." Naruto said to her as he held back tears.
Tsunade smiled as she hugged him back and pushed him slightly away with hands on his shoulders.
"I'm stronger than that."
Naruto chuckled.
"Gondaime-sama, it's time."
"Huh, time for what granny?"
Tsunade looked away from Naruto to meet the shocked faces of the occupants except Kakashi and Shizune of course.
" I guess you all wondering the reason of my speedy recovery and all this will be explained in a little bit. But first let's go somewhere with a bit more room."
She quickly performed a few hand seals and then slammed it on the floor causing a small seal to appear.
" Ninja art: Transfer jutsu."
And in a flash, everyone had vanished leaving the piles of paperwork on the table.
As suddenly as they disappeared, they reappeared in a theater like room with a large projection screen.
" Troublesome"
"YOSH, I WONDER WHAT YOUTHFULNESS WE WOULD EXPLORE TODAY."
"I COULDN'T AGREE MORE, MY YOUTHFUL STUDENT.
"GAI-SENSEI!"
"LEE!"
"GAI-SENSEI!"
"LEE!"
Then followed the tears and the glorious sunset. Matsuri who had tagged along with the Sand Siblings turned to Tenten.
"Are they always like this?"
"You have no idea."
"Glad to see you made it."
Everyone turned to face the intruder. Three cloaked figures were seen beside the screen.
"Who the hell are you guys?!" Naruto barked as he and the others got into a battle stance.
"They mean no harm." Tsunade said.
"Wait, you know these guys?" Sakura pointed to the figures.
"They are why Tsunade-sama is well." Shizune stepped in.
"WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?!"
"Maybe everyone should take a seat, so that we may explain things properly."
"Wait, someone needs to be here."
Tsunade turned towards the cloaked figure who was supposedly a female judging from her voice.
"Whom?"
The other mysterious figure chuckled and Naruto concluded that he was a male. He couldn't place it but there's something familiar about those two and he wasn't the only one who thought so.
The man performed a few hand seals and slammed it on the floor just like Tsunade had done.
" Ninja art: Transfer jutsu."
Meanwhile, in a forest far away from Konoha, four figures were seen going through the trees.
" Can we just take a break."
"Oh, quit whining, Karin."
"Shut up! I wasn't talking to you. I was talking to Sasuke."
Sasuke glanced back to his teammates and was about to retort when a bright white enveloped them.
In a flash, Naruto who had his eyes closed because of the light opened it and was shocked.
"Sasuke?" Sakura voiced his thoughts.
Now that's something you don't see everyday. Sasuke was speechless as he looked towards the voice.
"Sakura?"
"Wait, you know her?" Karin piped in but Sasuke ignored her.
"Sorry for your means of transportation." the male figure said.
"Who are you and where are we?" Sasuke said as he grabbed the hilt of his sword.
" We are in a different time dimension meaning we can spend as much time in here without food or water."
"Oi, that's what I wanted to know, teme!"
Sasuke smirked at his teammate.
"Dope."
"Why you..."
"If you are ready we can begin the explanation."
Everyone then took their seats. On the first row from left to right were Matsuri, Gaara, Kankouro, Ino, Sai, Sasuke, Sakura, Naruto, Hinata, Kiba, Akamaru and Shino. On the second row were Temari, Shikamaru, Choji, Karui, Omoi, Samui, Suigetsu, Karin, Hugo, Neji, Tenten and Lee. On the third row were Yoshino, Shikaku, Choza, Inoichi, Kibayoshi, Mebuki, three seats were reserved for the figures, Hiashi, Tsume and Shibi. And finally on the fourth row were Killer Bee, Kurenai, Tsunade, Shizune, Kakashi and Gai.
"Well that's everyone." another female voice spoke up.
The man of the group stepped forward. as they faced the audience.
"Now first let's introduce ourselves. I'm Haru, the lady on my left is Akane and the lady on my left is Gina, these are not our actual names more like nicknames but it will be revealed in good time. The reason why all of you are here today is because we are here to show you somethings which have caught our attention."
"What are you talking about?" Kurenai asked.
"What he means is..." Akane stepped forward. "...we are here to show you something that you would never have expected to see in your entire life."
Hiashi raised an eyebrow."Really and what is it if I may enquire."
"The future."

...
"NANI !!!!!!" everyone exclaimed.
"That's right." Tsunade smirked.
"That's impossible." Neji rebuked.
"We thought so too until we were given this." Gina said as she pulled out an orb, the size of an orange.
"What is that?" inquired Kankouro.
" It's an orb." Akane replied.
"It was given to us by an old lady on a mission. She died before she could say more but she told us how it operates and we tried it for ourselves and what we saw you would not believe it."
" So if you've seen it why not change it why us?" Temari asked.
"Cause we are in no place to do so but we figured that if we show it to you, you might be able to do it."
"However..." Haru interrupted.
"... we do hope that none of you says a word to anyone, understood?"
Everyone nodded.
"Any questions?"
"How does it work?" asked Shikamaru.
"Well all you have to do is infuse your chakra into the orb and you're good to go. Though the display normally ranges from an hour to two" answered Gina.
"So who's first?" asked Akane.
"ME!!" Naruto grinned.
Akane giggled.
"Okay."
"Alright!!!"
Boy were they in for a show.
