No Stone Unturned
By SMYGO4EVA
What so many have whispered behind closed doors, Shaun could not comprehend, and neither could he understand John, his Master.
John never thought things through, and Shaun always saw the big picture.
There was no telling what mischief the two could get into, inside the manor and outside. There was so much to explore, but they knew they could not venture beyond, no matter how unfair it was.
Shaun continued to be calm and self-assured, a grimace forming on his features, while John held his fists by his sides, ink-black hands curling.
The manor was old, massive, and eerie, and yet it held every bit of familiarity of home as they could ever dream of.
There was still so much more to see, and they wanted to open the gates, no stone unturned.
(A/N: This was my first time writing for Shadows House, so forgive me if there are any character inconsistencies.)
