"Welcome to the world of Pokémon. You may know the world of Pokémon as a place of wonder where Pokémon and humans live in harmony. Not every universe is so lucky, though there are many different realities some of which never had humans to begin with. In one of those realities a young Piplup who will soon determine the fate of this universe is abandoned."

In a forest of a region that never came to be a Piplup had just woken up from a night of sleep. He had no idea what had happened, he lost all his memories to him, he had just been born with no guidance.

"Where am I who am I," Piplup took a look at his body the first thing that stuck out was his flat hands as well as his beak. Piplup didn't know what to think, he didn't even know who he was or what he was supposed to do though. Piplup being a Pokémon had an intrinsic desire to survive and felt himself getting hungry and wanting to eat.

Piplup spotted a tree tough he didn't know what it was he knew the thing on top of it looked delicious and he wanted to eat it. Piplup however, was jumped by a Rattata who also wanted to eat the berry and was willing to fight for it.

"What was that for?" Piplup asked confused at this he just wanted to eat and he was attacked by whatever this thing is.

"That food belongs to me you are in my way." It dawned on Piplup that the Rattata also wanted this food. Before Piplup could say anything though Rattata jumped at Piplup scratching him Piplup had no idea how to fight back, but his Pokémon instinct was kicking in and he used his hands to pound Rattata hard. Rattata retreated to get a footing to attack again. Piplup had no idea how he was able to do this, this was the first time he had ever fought.

Rattata then started wagging his tail, which Piplup was extremely confused at. He could feel his endurance weakening though he couldn't understand why though. Rattata then scratched Piplup and It did far more damage than before.

Piplup was weakened, but his instincts kicked in further and he started growling at the Rattata which to him seemed like it was doing nothing but was weakening the Rattata's attacks. Rattata tried to attack Piplup again, but this time his scratches barely did any damage as he was weakened. Piplup attacked back with another pound by instinct which was enough to knock Rattata out.

Piplup was understandably very confused by this it was his first battle he didn't understand anything that was going on, yet he was still somehow able to win. For now, Piplup mostly brushed the confusion aside and went up to get the berry from the tree which is what he was fighting Rattata for, to begin with.

Piplup went to check up on the Rattata to see if he was alright. At first, it seemed to Piplup who was familiar with how anything worked that this Rattata was somehow permanently knocked out. However, after poking at the Rattata for a few minutes it eventually woke up and massacred enough after getting beaten by Piplup that it ran away. Piplup guessed that whatever he did to the Rattata was not permanent which was somewhat of a relief as I thought he may have done some serious damage.

Piplup wanted answers, but he didn't know where to get them. An idea came to mind, though he could try and find another Pokémon that was friendlier to him possibly another Piplup. However, that was going to be difficult, as this Forrest was lacking in other Pokémon and the Rattata had just run away.

"Hello is anyone else here I could use some help," Piplup shouted out but heard no response he listened a bit closer and did hear some chipping noises but nobody seems to have gotten his message.

Piplup decided the best course of action would be to walk around and see what he could find maybe some friendly Pokémon or somewhere to live.

"I guess there isn't much else for me to do besides look around and see what I find."

Piplup kept looking around, he only saw the occasional other Pokémon who didn't pay him much mind. He eventually ended up wandering into what seemed like a settlement he had no idea who was living in it though. He kept looking around and eventually saw something it was another Pokémon one that was all green with a red chest and a tree branch in his mouth. It was being attacked by several red Pokémon with black stripes.

Piplup knew that stepping in would be extremely risky as he was vastly outnumbered, however, he felt bad for what was going on and tried to step in.

"Hey leave him alone." Piplup jumped it trying to look as scary as he could but the gang of Growlithe's weren't at all impressed.

"What are you going to do to stop us? We will just defeat you," A Growlithe said.

Piplup had gotten angry he was raging. Somehow, through this rage, he was able to unlock a move where he shot a bunch of bubbles from his mouth. It hit one of the Growlithe and nearly fainted it, the Growlithe realized that the Piplup they were staring down was a water type they didn't want to take a risk, especially for this one Treecko so they fled the battle.

"Are you okay?" Piplup ran up to check if he was okay.

"I'm fine, thanks for the help," Treecko said.

"Sorry, but I don't know your name," Piplup said.

"My name is Treecko, now I need to get going before those Growlithe find me again."

"Wait, I still don't understand who am I where am I," Piplup said.

"You must have just been born. Well, you exist in the world of Pokémon you're a Piplup and I am a Treecko. There are hundreds of species of Pokémon, your not the only Piplup and I'm not the only Treecko."

"Where are your people?" Piplup asked.

"My parents were killed, I have been on my own ever since," Treecko said.

"I'm sorry to hear I don't know who my parents are I just started existing."

"You were probably abandoned by your parents," Treecko said.

"I feel like it would be better if we stuck together," Piplup said.

"I don't need your help I can handle myself." Treecko walked away not interested in anything Piplup was worried about him though so he decided to follow him.

Just as Piplup expected Treecko nearly instantly got attacked by another Pokémon this time a Spinarak and tied to a web.

"It does look like you could use my help," Piplup said.

"I don't need your help I will find a way out of this blasted thing." Piplup didn't listen though, and was already using his hands to cut that net up so Treecko could escape. The two ran away quickly before the Spinarak could notice they were gone.

"I guess I should thank you again for saving me," Treecko reluctantly said still not wanting to admit that he really could use some help.

"I will admit that I still don't know much, to me, I was only just born. I do know though that this place is dangerous it would be better if we stuck together, you seem like a good guy."

"I suppose you do have a good point there, I don't like this, but it would be better if we stuck together," Treecko said.

"I am glad you could see that," Piplup said.

"We need to find shelter fast it looks like a major rainstorm is coming," Treecko said.
