Hi. Like I've said on my profile, I have several ideas. This is one of them.

Summary

Hemera gives birth to a baby girl Dawn. She delivers the child to the Olympians and begs them to take her child in. Apollo accepts and Hemera looks upon her child with one last smile before she faded from existence.

The child was brought to them wrapped in a cream coloured blanket wearing nothing but a silver and white necklace.

Chapter 1

There was a loud flash and the light was so strong that even the strongest Olympians had to look away. Apollo was the only one who could remain fixated upon the light.

Out of the light stepped a beautiful and regal woman. Her robes were close to being of a greek fashion but it seemed older. Her white-blonde hair came to her waist and she carried a bundle in her arms. She seemed sad.

Zeus growled, he hated it when someone who wasn't an Olympian had the same aura of power, maybe more. And this woman was NOT an Olympian.

He raised his lightning rod "Speak! And tell us who you are!" his voice commanded.

The woman looked at him, their eyes locking. Her eye colour was creamy white with splashes of turquoise and blue. Her pupils were white.

"I am Hemera, primordial of Light." most of the council gasped but Zeus only looked more angered.

"The primordials are all erased from existence. Don't lie to me woman!"

Her eyes flashed in anger and the room filled with a powerful aura making the entire council go silent.

"Silence! I do not have much time left. I have come forward to the council today to humbly make a plea."

They nodded at her to continue and she opened her bundle, the council gasped at seeing a child with the same white-blonde hair.

"This is my daughter," she continued "I came to ask for one of you to claim her as your own." there was an uproar to this. Most of the Olympians thought a primordial was too powerful but here was one dumping her child, her mistake on them.

Hera silenced the council, she was the goddess of marriages and families. She felt that there was more to Hemera than she was letting on.

"And why have you come to ask us this?" she asked calmly, ignoring her husband's silent signals.

Hemera bowed her head "My lady, I am to fade soon," there were murmurs to this. Yes, all primordials faded after humans stopped caring about them, but it was still a rarity for the gods to be aware of this since most primordials hid and faded away leaving nobody to remember them.

"I do not know what will happen to my child after this. The world will be cruel to her." silence. Then Zeus spoke up "I accept. On 2 conditions!" he barked at seeing his brother's sly looks.

Hemera looked at him hopefully "One, she will not be claimed as any of the big three's children. And two, you will swear your service to me until you fade." there were loud protests to this. But Hemera silenced them all with her hand "I accept."

Chapter 2

Dawn woke up with a start.
