No longer on the Down Low

It had been 2 ½ months since Luke and Penelope had gotten married in New York at Comicon & 2 months of living together. They had moved all of Penelope's things into Luke's townhouse. One of the first thing Penelope did was update all the records with the FBI, making sure if their personnel files needed to be accessed, they would need to get a clearance code form her. Being the best tech analyst and network queen, she made sure their loving union was not revealed before they wanted it to.

It was early Tuesday morning, light was shining into Luke and Penelope's bedroom. Once again they were wrapped around each other. Luke on his back, Penelope snuggled into his side with her head on his chest. He was the first to wake up, noticing their position he smiled. This had become the normal since they moved in together. He began to run his fingers thru her golden locks. Eventually Penelope woke up and looked at him.

"Good morning gorgeous"

"Hello handsome" Penelope said with a smile.

"It's almost time to get up and go to work chica"

Penelope sighed "10 more minutes mi amor, please."

They spent those ten minutes snuggling and kissing.

"Even though I want to stay right here I know we have to get up. Hopefully, it won't be too long of a day" Penelope said.

Each got up and out of their bed. Penelope picked up her pastel pink silk and lace slip covering her bare figure. It hugged all her curves perfectly. Luke had been watching her and couldn't focus on anything else. Penelope noticed he hadn't moved, boxers tightly gripped in his right hand giving her a lustful stare. She smiled taking in the view of her tall, dark and handsome knight in all his glory: broad shoulders, washboard abs, strong legs and manhood that was above all others. She gave him another appreciative smile then went into the ensuite bathroom closing the door. That finally drew him into action, putting on his boxers and walking to the closet. He pulled out a pair of dark wash jeans and a deep red shirt to wear. Then pulled a red heart printed dress for Penelope and laid it on the bed. He got dressed and was buttoning up the last button on his shirt when Penelope came out of the bathroom.

"It's all yours" Penelope said.

He walked into the bathroom to wash up while she started to dress, loving his choice of what to wear. To it she added red tights. Once having her outfit on she began doing her hair and makeup. After Luke was done, he headed out of the bedroom to start breakfast. Brewing coffee, getting hot water for tea then making avocado toast for Penelope and making eggs and turkey bacon for himself. He had just finished cooking the bacon when Penelope walked and sat down at the table. Toast in front of her.

"Huh... what's that smell?" Penelope asked.

"Turkey bacon, it was the last thing I cooked".

Luke turned on the fan above the stove then took his seat. He noticed she looked pale which she wasn't when she woke up.

"Are you okay?"

"My stomach feels queasy I don't think I can eat." She pushed her toast to the side.

"Okay, maybe drinking your tea will help."

"Yeah" She began slowly shipping it while Luke ate.

Once done Luke picked up all the dishes to let her rest.

"Chica maybe you should call in today."

"No, the tea helped besides if I start to feel queasy, I can always lay down on the sofa in my lair."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, let's go" She grabbed her purse and followed Luke out of their home.

They got into the truck and drove to work. After parking they took off their seat belts.

"Okay you go in; I'll wait a little while then follow."

"Don't be too long" Luke said then kissed her before heading into the building.

Fifteen minutes later Penelope got down too, it was a bright June day. The temperature was 72 degrees, and the humidity wasn't that high yet. Penelope made sure she had her purse and laptop bag, looked round to make sure no one was around, locked up the truck and walked into the building. She took the elevator up to the 5th floor. While going she remembered all the times, she and Luke were alone together in it. Some rides were filled with conversation others spent stealing kisses. The ding pulled her out of reminiscing. Then she walked into the office. JJ, Reid and Rossi were there along with Luke.

"Morning JJ, Rossi, boy wonder"

"Why the cold shoulder ice queen?" Luke asked

"I'm the queen of heat, I doubt you would be able to handle me"

"Yes, I could"

"I'd like to see you try" Penelope said

Luke got up from his desk, walked towards and stopped about a foot away from her. He looked at her from head to toe, licked his lips, gazed into her eyes then said:

"Any place anytime chica."

"Okay kids break it up. I don't want to attend another mandatory sexual harassment seminar. I don't miss those" Rossi said

Penelope straightened her bags then turned and headed to her office. Rossie continued:

"Did you finally decide to make a move? Since you were straight out flirting."

"What I don't get is how you got her to flirt with you" JJ said

"Maybe she's finally warming up to me" Luke said as he sat down at his desk.

"Well if you do or have already made your move, don't hurt her" Rossi said

"Yeah, we're all protective of her just like she is of us" JJ said

"I know, she's special and I would never do anything to intentionally hurt her." Luke said

Rossi went to his office while JJ and Reid sat at their respective desks. The morning was filled with doing paperwork for the case they finished yesterday. It was close to noon when Luke stood up to stretch and go grab lunch. Rossi & JJ had decided to have him pick up some food for them. Then he picked up his cell phone, dialed as he walked out thru the glass doors.

"Yes" Penelope said with a yawn.

"Garcia are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. What do you need?" Luke didn't quite believe her but wasn't going to push it.

"I'm going to ick up pizza for some of us for lunch. Would you like anything?"

"A chef salad and could you ask them to add pickles please."

"Consider it done, I'll see you in a little while mi amor."

With that they both hung up and Luke headed out to pick up food. He arrived at the pizzeria 15 minutes later. After paying and walking to his truck with the food Luke noticed a pink food truck across the street, printed on the side with the name Lunacorn. He remembered that it was Penelope's favorite place to get coffee. She had sounded a bit tired earlier when he spoke to her, so he decided to surprise her. Luke placed the food in his truck and walked across the street.

"How can I help you?" a young man asked

"Can I please get a medium nitro cold brew."

"Anything else?"

"No" Luke said

"That'll be $5.75."

Luke handed him the money and two minutes later was handed the cup. He got into his truck and headed back to the office. There was bit of traffic on his way back. Finally getting back and off the elevator he saw Reid.

"Hey Spencer, can you take these pizzas to everyone."

"Sure, where are you going?"

"Garcia wanted a salad."

"Okay" Reid said, he hadn't noticed the cup of coffee.

Luke walked to Penelope's office, walked in and closed the doors. Instead, of finding her in front of her screens he found her sleeping on her sofa. He kneels next to her, caresses her face then leans down and softly kisses her lips.

"Wake up chica."

Penelope stirred a little, opened her eyes and saw Luke.

"Hmm… I must have dozed off" Penelope said as she sat up on the sofa.

"You okay?"

"I am now, that cat nap helped. You have my salad. I'm starving."

"Yes" He handed her the salad and continued "hopefully this will help too". Luke presented her the cup of coffee.

"Luke! My favorite cold brew." She took a few sips.

"You sounded a bit tired earlier, and I wanted to surprise you."

Penelope placed her coffee on the side table. Her hands went to the collar of his shirt and she kissed him. As the kisses grew deeper, she pulled him towards her as she twisted to lay down on the sofa. Luke followed and was now above her. They continued making out but were interrupted by a beep coming from the computer. They both got up. Penelope walked to the monitors.

"A new case?" Luke asked

"I'm not sure, they're files that need to be reviewed by Emily first."

"Oh man, I better get back. I'll probably get grilled on what took me so long."

"Here take these and give them to Prentiss"

Penelope hands him the documents that just came out of the printer.

"Wouldn't an email be quicker?"

"Yeah but this is our cover. If she asks make something up."

"You're phenomenal!" Luke said then kissed her on the lips, touching his forehead to hers then leaned in again to kiss her.

Penelope pulled back a little – "go, there will be plenty of time for that and much more tonight."

"Let's bring the heat." Luke said then walked out of her office while Penelope reached for her coffee and went to sit at her monitors. Luke was walking into the office.

"Where have you been? The pizza showed up but you didn't." Rossi said

"Oh, I took Garcia her lunch."

"She usually brings her lunch."

"Yeah but I offered just before leaving because I didn't want her to yell at me."

"She would've had a field day with you. Still it shouldn't have taken you that long."

"As I was giving her the food she got notified of files that needed Prentiss to review. So I'm the messenger. I better get them to her." Luke said as he headed to Prentiss's office.
"Okay, I bet 20 that he was there for more than giving her food."

"I'm in on that too Dave." Matt said

"20 that he wasn't" JJ said

"I'm good but is the one for when they'll go out on a date still going?" Reid asked

"Yes" Rossi answered

"In that case can I increase my bet?" Matt asked, he knew they had gone on the date already but needed to wait till they told the team.

"Don't see why not, how much?"

"50"

"You seem pretty confident" Rossi said.

"I know my pal if they haven't already, they will soon. He's been on the team for more than two years plus I catch how he looks at her. Besides all that when he talks about her, he seems happy."

"Come to think of it, I've caught Penelope starring at Luke more recently." JJ said

"We'll just have to wait for developments." Rossi said

Meanwhile in Prentiss's office…

"Hey Emily, Garcia wanted me to give you these files."

"Thanks Luke but why didn't' she just email them?"

"She knew you would ask so she told me to tell you and I quote: I was feeling nostalgic."

Prentiss laughed "that doesn't surprise me."

"She really is something special" Luke said

"I agree, how did you become her messenger?"

"Well, I was dropping off some stuff in her office and as I walked out she handed me those files. Told me to bring them to you."

"Alright, thanks."

"No problem" Luke said. He walked out of her office. Quickly shotting a text to Penelope, as he walked back to his desk.

Emily asked why no email told her that you said to tell her and I quote, I was feeling nostalgic.

Luke made it back to his desk, sitting down when his phone vibrated. He pulled it out and saw new message from Wonder Woman. It was his code name for Penelope. He opened the message.

That would be something I'd say! Thanks for the intel. I can't wait to go home with you xoxo

Luke smiled as he typed and sent his text:

That makes two of us. Wish we could leave now.

Penelope's phone went off again and lit up with: new message from my dark knight. Her code name for Luke. Just like earlier. After reading that he wished they could leave now she laughed and typed her text:

We only have a few more hours. Good things come to those who wait!

Then she hit send.

After Luke's phone vibrated, he looked to see her response and typed back:

For you, the wait is worth it

Penelope read the message and replied:

😊 Alright SSA Alvez it's time to get back to work before someone becomes aware of our secret communication. See you later mi amor.

Luke read the text and sent her his:

Okay, Mrs. Alvez. Later can't come soon enough

Matt noticed Luke smiling down at his phone. Something on it was making him happy. Luke went back to doing his paperwork when his cell phone vibrated. Thinking it was Penelope he quickly picked it up. The screen showed a message from Matt. He opened it.

M- What has you in such a good mood?

L-Nothing much

M-Would it have anything to do with a certain technical analyst?

L-Maybe

M-Have you two gone on a date?

L-Yes but you can't tell anyone. We've like keeping it on the down low.

M- Way to go man!

L- Thanks did a dinner under the stars

M- Very nice. Next date?

L-Whenever we can get it in with our work schedule

M- I get that

L- We better get back to it.

Both Luke and Matt returned to their paperwork. An hour and a half later the team started heading out for the night. Emily and JJ were the first ones to leave, followed by Spencer and Rossie. Half an hour later Matt said by to Luke and headed home. That left Luke and Penelope in the office. Luke pulled out his phone to text Penelope:

I am heading down, I'll meet you in the truck.

Penelope received his text and responded:

I am shutting things down, I'll you there handsome.
