One day during recess at school Junior Asparagus and his friends Laura Carrot, Percy Pea and Annie Onion were playing at the playground and were having fun. Until the bully Gordon interrupted again.

Gordon: Hey guys.

Percy:What do you want Gordon?

Gordon:(smirking) I just want to have a talk with Annie.

The tall green leak with glasses was a little suspicious.

Annie: What might that be.

Gordon: Let's just say that you told on me to the lunch ladies.

Annie gave a mad expression she knew why she done that.

Annie:(angry) That's because you sneakily cut in line on purpose and that was rude.(Laura nodded in agreement)

Laura:Yeah you can't just cut in line whenever you want that's the rule.

Annie:Obviously you need to learn your manners.

Now Gordon was really mad and he gets tough when someone talks back to him.

Gordon:(enraged) You better take back what you said or I'll wack you with a stick.

Annie: Never I have the right to tell someone if you're doing something wrong and you can't stop me.

Gordon has had it he grabbed the stick and walked towards Annie.

Gordon: That's it this will teach you not to tattle tale on me.

Junior had enough and got in front of Annie defending for her there was no way he was gonna let Gordon hurt his friend.

Junior:(defensive) That's enough Gordon you leave her alone this instant you mess with her you mess with me.

Gordon: Out of my way pipsqueak or else.

Junior:No if you wack me with a stick go for it but I will not let you harm her.

Junior friends were very surprised and were worried that he was gonna take a risk.

Gordon: I said get out of my way Junior.

Junior:No!

Gordon:(angry) What did you say?

Junior:I said no.

Gordon: That's it you're dead bean-boy.

Gordon push Junior to the ground and started beating him up with the stick his friends even Annie watched in horror.

Laura:Stop it.

Percy:Leave him alone.

Annie:(scared) You're hurting him.

Then Gordon stopped and walked away smirking. Junior friends ran over to him and he was wincing in pain.

Annie(worried) Junior are you okay?

Junior:(winces) Ow I think I busted something.

He turned over and his friends gasp. Junior was confused.

Junior:(raised an eyebrow) What do I have something on my face?

Then Junior look down at himself and also gasp. There was bruises all over him.

Junior:(gasp) Holy Moly!

Laura:Junior you have bruises.

Junior:(worried) Is it bad?

Percy:It's like a curse that turns you purple.

Laura nudge him to get him to be quiet.

Annie:It's not too bad but you need help. I'll get you to the nurse office.

Junior was happy that his friend will help him when he's injured.

Junior:Thank you Annie that's very kind of you.

So Annie helped Junior to the nurse

A nurse name Miss Achmetha who is also an accordion player. Examine Junior and said the bruises weren't too bad and put bandages on them and said he needed to go home and rest for a few days. However, she asked how he got bruises Junior didn't feel like speaking so Annie explained everything that happened after hearing this The Nurse understood.

Miss Achmetha: I see well I'll report this to his parents and the principal.

Junior:Thank you so much.

Miss Achmetha: You're welcome.

Then she left Junior look at his friend.

Junior: Hey Annie thank you for walking with me to the nurse office I enjoyed the company.

Annie:No problem even though I was worried for you but you saved my life and I too like to say thanks.

Junior:Anytime no one hurts my friends and that's what friends are for.

They smiled and hugged each other.

Meanwhile when Junior's Mom was checking him out and Annie told him to get better soon. The principal who was Archibald the wise British asparagus spoke severely to Gordon.

Archibald:Gordon Smith I heard that you were abusing Junior when you threatened Annie so for your punishment you're suspended for 3 weeks.

Gordon knew he was in trouble now he couldn't argue with the principal.

Archibald:Also for the first two days you will do community service.

Gordon:But Sir. Y-yes sir.

Later Junior was at home resting on the couch his brought him soup after he ate he was tired and happily fell asleep.

Note: I don't know who the principal is in real life so I decided to use Archibald Asparagus cause he is wise.
