Are You Scared?

Pairings: Conditional Yu-yu x Shinobu. Referenced Yu-yu x Danji tension, Yu-yu x Tohya tension.
Summary:
Kondo Yu-yu crosses enemy lines to clear up some misconceptions about his relations with Momoyama Danji and Ebata Tohya.
This was fraternizing with the enemy.
This was forgiveness. Abandoning his reasonable doubt and acquired distrust of Kajita Shinobu in favour of optimism.
If Megumi-san discovered he was out here having a friendly cardfight with the avaricious, greedy, bored, whiny, and selfish twerp who burned their team banner, no force on Earth or Planet Cray could save him. Not from Magnolia's back row advance.
"Are you scared?" Shinobu taunts with his childish line.
Scared? Yu-yu repeats internally. Yes. Of Megumi-san.
It wasn't easy to look past what Shinobu had done. But Yu-yu had been there to witness Tohya-san's reformation. Tohya-san fixed the merry-go-round. He was leading Blackout now, and putting in an honest effort to apologize to the people he hurt.
Granted, unlike Tohya-san, Shinobu-san was still behind enemy lines. He was still a card-carrying member and unapologetic shill for Daybreak.
But Yu-yu was tiring from the assumptions made about himself. They were wearing him down to the point Hachiban Ramen couldn't fill his soul and make him restand.
First, it was Danji-san! Then, it was Tohya-san! Imagine being "shipped" by your friends and family with all the "hot guys" you brought home! Never mind the fact they were way older than him!
Enough misunderstandings! Actually going out with someone closer to his age, where it wouldn't be in bad taste or a jailable offence…That'd do the job!
"Persona Ride!" Yu-yu drew into his second Exspecta. "Please, Shinobu-san! Please consider!"
"Oh no oh no oh no oh no oh no!" Shinobu screamed. "Help! Police! Yu-yu-san is bein' touched by bad stupid-face men! Aha ha ha!"
Of course, you could say the police were sorta in on it. Tomari-san was on board with a Yu-yu/Danji or Yu-yu/Tohya relationship, as were the rest of them!
The rest of them minus Megumi-san, anyway.
"What's in it for me?"
"I can cook!"
"Tempting. Tempting. I need more though, Yu-yu-san!"
Yu-yu swallowed his shame – shamefully. Scared or not, this step was critical. "Megumi-san won't be completely positive we're having a love affair. You can prank her."
"Oho? If it means Oneechan will lose her darn mind, ya I'm game!" Shinobu sneered.
