"Did you guys hear?! She…"

Bebe had to catch her breath. She'd been so adamant on getting the word out to her friend group that she'd completely forgotten to breathe properly.

"Bebe, what? Slow down."

Kyle put his hand on her shoulders.

Once she'd calmed down, Bebe grinned. "Moonrise! They're coming to South Park and doing a show for their first documentary!" she exclaimed.

Kenny's eyes widened. "No way. Why would they do a show here? No one ever does a show in a shit-ass small town like fuckin' South Park," he said as he rolled his eyes.

"Yeah," Butters agreed, "Denver would be a much better place to put on a show."

Wendy rolled her eyes. "Well there must be a reason they're doing it here," she decided and Bebe nodded.

She couldn't believe it. Her favorite member of her favorite band was going to be breathing the same air as her, and she'd get to see one of their shows—for free!

Aria sighed as she opened the door to her hotel room. Her hometown was just as cold as she'd left it six years ago, which she wasn't really fond of. She never actually thought she'd actually be back here, let alone in this part of Colorado.

She was more than thankful for the heat that filled the room as she headed for the mini-bar, which was filled to the brim with all of the snacks she'd requested. She pulled a can of Arizona green tea from the fridge and opened it, but before she could take a drink, there was a knock on the door.

"Risa? You in there?"

Maia. "Yeah, yeah, gimme a second!" she called and sat the can on the bar before going over to the door. She opened it and Maia greeted her with an especially wet kiss on the cheek.

"Gross!" she exclaimed, giggling, and wiped her face off with her sleep. Maia chuckled as she walked in and sat on the sofa.

"So…" she began as soon as Aria had joined her. "How's it feel being back after six years?"

Maia was the only one she'd opened up to about her life pre-band; her real name was Arisa and she grew up in a small town in Colorado. She'd also been made fun of for even thinking about moving away to pursue her dreams of stardom. So one night, at age fourteen, she packed up her most precious belongings and moved to California to live with her older sister (after gaining permission from her parents, of course).

"I hate it more than I should," she admitted. "It's cold, and there's nothing to do. I'm surprised a hotel this nice was even built."

Maia giggled. "Well, at least it's only for a week, then it's back to LA to finish filming. And then to Japan for the fifth anniversary of Moonrise's formation," she reminded Aria, who nodded. This was the fourth year of the band being famous, so it was the leader's (Aria) decision where they got to go—and she'd chosen Japan. There were so many things she wanted to do, and it was her first time going, so she'd been planning on places to visit since the decision was made.

"I guess you're right," she said.

Maia stood abruptly. "C'mon, Risa! We have to go to the place we're performing! I heard it used to be an elementary school!" she said excitedly, pulling Aria to her feet.

"Woah, I'm not even dressed yet!" she exclaimed and Maia giggled before rummaging through Aria's suitcase. One by one, she tossed leggings, a hoodie and a pair of sunglasses at her. "The sunglasses are for your disguise. Now hurry up and get dressed, then meet me down in the lobby. Bye-bye!"

Before Aria could get a word out, the door was closed. She sighed and proceeded to change into the clothes she'd been given, then pulled her hair out of her face and slid on her Doc Martens.

After grabbing her keycard and purse, she left the room and headed down to the hotel lobby.

As she walked hand-in-hand with Maia, she made it a point to look around. Few things had changed in six years, that much was obvious. She watched as kids kicked a ball in the park, as well as a large group of people gathering around a building (one Aria assumed was the place they'd be performing).

"We're supposed to go around to the back," Maia said and Aria nodded. "And if anyone asks where we're going, we show them our passes."

Hmm, seemed easy enough.

"Excuse me, where do you two think you're going?"

Busted.

However, Maia radiated confidence. "Well, sir… we have these passes," she said, pulling one out of the collar of her hoodie. The man looked flabbergasted, but let them pass, ignoring the outcry of the ever-growing crowd.

"Phew, I never thought we'd make it," Aria said and Maia groaned. "Weirdo. Let's just go and get acquainted with everyone!" she said and the two of them went inside.

this is my "idea" of what i'd like to call an OC-centric south park fic

there are way too many characters to add, so just assume they're all here (unless i specifically state that they're not)
