A regular web slingers day

The day was a typical sunny day in the good old city of New York. The city was weirdly quite, not that anyone was complaining. With all the weird that goes on in this city, it was nice to take a break from all the drama once in a while.

Spider man dived from the top of a skyscraper head first. After gaining momentum he shot a web at a nearby building swinging and letting go of the web as he flew gracefully through the air while doing a backflip.

"Wooooh hoooo!!!! This never gets old"

Spiderman shoots web after swinging over the streets of Brooklyn.Suddenly his phone rings. 'Bzzzzzz Bzzzzzz Bzzzzz' He reaches his arms into his pockets and picks looks at the caller ID and picks up immediately. 'Hello' he answers. 'Miles honey where are you? "Mama I'm on my way home from hanging out with some friends' Miles replied. He let go of the web he was on and landed on a light pole crouching on it phone still in hand. ' Okay pick up some milk and eggs on your way home" Rio said. 'Okay mama I'll head to the nearest bodega and get some on my way back'

'Okay son love you' she replied' 'Love you too' he replied and hanged up the phone.He placed the phone in his pocket and shot a web at a nearby building and swung his web to a nearby building. He kept swinging for while before he felt a strong tingling sensation at the back of his head and he turned his head to his right to see dark storm clouds forming around a tall tower with a giant 4 logo on its side."I guess mom will have to wait a little while longer for her eggs and milk" He shrugged his shoulders and set off swinging in the direction of the Baxter building.

Miles arrived on top of the Fantastic 4 building. His spider sense tingled even more telling him this was exactly the source of the danger. He crawled along the building walls until he found a window.He tried to pry it open but found it closed shut. He tried punching it once but it only cracked a little, he added a little more strength to the next punch but all it did was increase the cracks on its surface. 'One more time' he thought in his head as he shot a web a few feet above the reinforced glass window and sprinted up the wall before leaping in the air performing a back flip as he stretched his leg and swung on the web, he gained momentum and shattered the window with a drop kick. He landed in the building in a parkour roll and immediately his spider sense warned him of in coming danger. He performed a curt wheel back flip narrowly avoiding an incoming storm of bullets before shooting webs at the robot's gun nuzzle before running and punching a hole through its chest.

"That is one heavily armed Tin can" he quipped before leaping on the ceiling and crawling through the halls letting his spider sense guide him to where the danger was, a little something he picked up from Peter. His mood became a little more sour when he thought about his friend slash mentor and inspiration. 'Think only happy thoughts Miles' he thought.

He reached a room and his older sense was going hay wire with its warnings. He leapt of the ceiling landing on top of a robot and punching its head in before leaping into the room. Turning his head what he saw surprised him, the fantastic four were all down on the floor unconscious, the only members conscious was Reed Richards who was battling what seemed to be Dr. Doom Infront of a portal of some kind. He watched as Doom grabbed Reed by his neck and began squeezing the life out of him. Spider man leaped into action as he shot his webs at a robot before spinning and throwing the robot through the air to hit Doom sending him tumbling through some shelves."Didn't your parents ever teach you to put your toys away when you were done playing" he quipped before looking at Reed. " You okay Mr. Fantastic" he asked, "I could be better" he replied getting a nod from spider man who leaped in the air dodging a robot charging him from behind before shooting a web at the robot and kicking its head in. Doom came out of the rubble and shouted in anger ," You pest this does not concern you stop interfering!!!" "Nahh I think I'll stay thank you, can't let you do whatever it is your doing with that portal thingy happen , you know the usual super hero stuff." He then turned to Reed and asked him," Say what does that do exactly" he pointed to the portal. " It gathers miniscule molecular particles from the air creating enough energy to make a worm hole" he pointed at it ," if we don't stop it now it'll gather enough energy to suck the whole of New York and possibly the world through it" he added. "So destroy the portal thingy got it" Spiderman said but before he could ask how to close it Doom threw a large crate at him which he gracefully avoided by leaping into the air but when he saw where the crate was flying to he tried to shoot his webs to stop the crate but it was too late.

Bloom!!!!! The crate smashed into the portal causing it to ripple before it started to grow. " Ummm I don't suppose that growing in size means anything good does it? Spiderman said before a huge suction force began to pull things into the portal. " Spiderman we need to stop it before it gains enough energy that it can't be stopped!!!" Mr Fantastic shouted. "But how!!!" Miles replied. " Someone needs to go over to the controls and deactivate the machine". Doom then attacked Spider man but Spiderman told him to go and close the portal. The fight went on for a few minutes neither of the two finding an edge in the fight until Miles heard a shout from Reed.

" Spider man we have a problem, the portal can't be closed unless the centre of the portal is imploded from the inside, it has to be done from both sides simultaneously" Reed shouted.Doom attacked Miles again but he leaped in the air and hit Doom on the back with a venom strike which knocked him through the wall rendering him unconscious.

Spider man looked at the portal and knew exactly what he had to do. He didn't have to think about it long before he made up his mind , he would be the one to save everyone this time.' I guess this is how Peter must've felt", he chuckled to himself before turning to Reed. "Hey um, there's this woman Rio Morales and this guy Jefferson Davies tell them I love them when you see them will you" Miles said.

Reed wanted to say something but closed his mouth half way and just nodded .

Spiderman was content with his answer, he had made up his mind and didn't need anyone giving him a pity speech before he did this. He shot two webs at the support of the portal and pulled himself back and prepared to sling himself into the portal before he heard Reeds voice. "Hey kid" he turned to look at Reed, "The whole world will know what happened here today, they'll know the Spider man saved the whole world again" he said and Miles just shook his head before he released his grip slinging into the portal while making a Venom strike on his arms. He dived into the portal with his life flashing right Infront of him. His parents, getting his powers, Meeting Peter, meeting Gwen and everything good that ever happened in his life."Good bye everyone" he whispered before he hit the portal with his strike and everything just went white for a few seconds and he just wasn't there.

The other members of the fantastic four woke up with groans and grunts of pain. Sue walked up to Feed who was staring at where the portal once was.

"What happened" Sue asked looking to where he was staring. "Spiderman saved us all" he replied looking solemn.

The other members stared at where the portal was a look of understanding pasted on their faces.
