Chapter 1: She's No Hostage
Noah Puckerman was watching the news in the office of General Michael Young as he learned his niece Liza Marie's school had been taken over by terrorists. When he got a call from her, he answered the call hearing her saying in a whisper, "In the air duct of the school, above the cafeteria. Fifty gunmen, the leader, has General Young's granddaughter Sofia at gunpoint."
Soon, General Young gets a call from an unknown number and puts it on speaker. As he answers it, someone using something to change their voice says, "Come to Seaton Elementary, bring four million dollars or your granddaughter and her classmates will die. Along with the men in blue outside." Then Liza Marie texts an audio clip of the man's real voice with the message, "God, he has a bomb on his chest! If you don't do something! I will!"
After fifteen minutes, the call drops and Noah gets a call from Kurt Hummel-Anderson, as he sees the hostages running out of the school on TV. When he answers the call, he hears an echo of the gunfire on TV and Kurt screaming, "Where is Liza Marie?" over and over. Before she walks out with a machine gun and a knife in her hands. The men even noticed that she had blood all over her as she walked up to Kurt, stone-faced.
An hour later, Noah is standing by Kurt and Blaine as they watch Liza Marie sleep in a hospital bed; after they find out she was shot in the leg. Then Noah exclaimed, "God, Liza Marie! Why did you do that?! Your mother is about to kill me for not saving you!" Then Blaine says, "And us for letting this happen to you." After Blaine says this, they hear high-heels walking fast down the hall. Rachel stormed into the room, but she did not say anything. Because the moment she saw Liza Marie, she broke down as Noah wrapped his arms around her.
It was a week before Noah was shown the security tapes of what happened to Liza Marie. The tape showed her kicking out a vent and landing onto one of the men. Before taking his gun and shooting the other men in their knees or chests. As he watched the tape, he noticed Liza Marie was stone-faced the whole time. It looked like she was in a trance or something like that.
Kurt calls Noah one night, and as soon as Noah answers, he hears a voice he didn't know say, "What the hell?!" Before he heard a choking noise. Then the call drops and Noah rushes to get dressed as Burt Hummel calls him, saying, "Puck, we're on our way to the hospital. Let's just say I was the only one Liza Marie could save." Noah tried to ask about the others, but the call dropped before he could.
When Noah and Quinn entered the hospital, they saw Liza Marie talking to a police officer, and noticed the others were fine. Then he asks her, "Did your grandpa tell you to say that?" Liza Marie gets red in the face and screams, "I answered that question five times already, sir! Can't you hear? I said no! I am not lying, and no one told me what to say! If you can't believe that a five-year-old is capable of hurting five grown men, then fuck you! Check the security tapes if you don't believe me!" Then she runs to Noah before yelling at the man, "Stop trying to get my G' Pa to lie to you! I told you it was me! Now, get your head out of your ass and look at the goddamn tapes!"
Two weeks later, Liza Marie and Noah were at the police station. Burt and Carole headed back to Washington after the cops looked at the security tapes, finally. But they weren't there to talk about the attack on her family. They were there about the attack at her school, and one of the cops told her she was the real target, not Sofia.
A month later, Noah, Burt, Blaine, and Mike were in front of Liza Marie's school, along with fifty troops, fifty FBI agents, and fifty police officers. After Liza Marie called Noah again. Then Blaine asks, "Where is she? It's been thirty minutes since she called Puck!" Soon Blaine got a call from her, and he put it on speaker as she says, "In air duct above cafeteria again with FBI Agent Rockford's body. He got hit fifteen minutes ago, and it took me that long to find his walkie-talkie. Officer Jones is here too and got hit in both legs. I'll wait on you guys for another fifteen minutes and not a minute longer."
Then they heard a male voice say, "Here, take my gun and this extra clip. I'll take the heat for giving a kid my gun, but after what you did last month, I don't care! Take my vest too." Before Liza Marie says," Good thing you are small like me, Officer Jones." And she ends the call.
Ten minutes later, they heard gunfire and the kids were running out. The gunfire went on for thirty minutes after everybody but Liza Marie came out. Then General Young heard Brad Hudson say, "Little She-Hulk is down, I repeat, Little She-Hulk is down! " Before, Noah stormed in and saw Liza Marie tying a piece of her shirt around her leg to stop the blood. As Noah carries her out, he notices she is stone-faced again.
Officer Troy Jones was her roommate in the hospital, and as soon as Noah came to see Liza Marie, Troy says, "I was only there five minutes when I got hit, she found me after that, and Agent Rockford came a minute later. His moving made a noise and he was killed. She was trying to stay quiet, while getting my walkie-talkie before she called her Papa. She demanded my gear before she made the call, and you heard my reply. I don't know how she can sleep right now. Ha, the assholes here were trying to have me sent to another hospital. Because I'm a midget, and she threw a fit over that after my wife came in followed by her Grandpa Burt. I swear since she has started school. We have been called before it's on the news, and I'm surprised the National Guard hasn't been called before she started school there. So, are my superiors."
Noah chuckles and says, "So are mine. Her Grandpa Burt and I are the reason they know her. Ha, I am the only one that lets her watch movies like Die Hard or Rambo." Then he hears Burt say, "No you're not, Puck and after today. I might stop it." Then the men look at Liza Marie before Troy says, "I doubt anyone can stop her from doing anything."
