CHAPTER ONE...
Three weeks prior, 3288 day 129 (May 9th) 8pm.

A soft peach colored Lyox sings out to a crowd of over 5,000 as her band plays out on the stage. The other five were some of her closest friends. She had Regina, a midnight colored Vixen with dark Cole markings and a few different colored markings on her playing at the DJ booth in back. To the right of her she had Micha, a Weasel-Wolf playing at the keyboard. To the left of her playing on the Axe Guitar Tinnie Dynamite a Woodpecker. Next to her on Bass was Ray-Ray, a pastel blue and pink Monkey. On a smaller stage of their own in front of the DJ Booth was their drummer, the only male in the group, Mica, Micha's twin brother. Their lead singer was the Lyox, named Eris, and right now they were in New Raze Tokyo their third and final stop on their world tour, and they were The Chaos Crystals. A band they made up during their high school years.

Eris holds the last word out for a long time letting her voice rise and holding up a finger to the night skies of New Raze Tokyo, Regina presses a few buttons and sliders on her DJ booth as Mica beats at his drums for suspense as lights shoot up into the skies and over the crowd as the cheer on for their favorite Pop Idol band.

This was it, the chores they were working on for weeks to get right. It was now or never. If they could pull this off they knew their Merch sales would go through the roof. Eris gives two waves of her tail. The signal Regina had been waiting for. Tiny and the others catch it and she and Ray-Ray nod to one another as they get ready for what is to come. They all hoped it would work.
Regina kills the lights as fog covers the stage as the girls keep playing. Tinnie and Ray-Ray walk to the front of the stage and start playing their solo as Micha backs them up on her keyboard. Everything on stage starts going dark except the lights that were on the girls as Eris back up to a hidden platform and slowly descends below the stage for a wardrobe change. As everyone hustles about to help Eris, a yellow mongoose with black hair and glasses on that was wearing a white suit with purple silk dress shirt under the jacket walks over to her and stands before her folding his arms.
You're looking good out there so far babe. You pull this off Merch sells are sure to sell through the roof and up to the moon. If it works we may have to keep it in every time we do Drastic Dreams.
Fucking you Ash. We agreed we would only do this once because what I am about to pull off would likely kill me. I still can't believe you managed to talk me into it you fucking peace of SHIT! NO NOT THAT ONE YOU MORON THE GOLD ONES!
Eris yells out to someone behind Ash as they run back to get the gold set of shoes for her. Ash chuckles looking at her as he places a hand on his hip and raises his other hand shaking his head.
Hey you seem to forget who's the manager around here baby and who helped you get where you girls are now. If it wasn't for me you wouldn't be here right now three years later. Remember Eris my pet. I MADE you.
He narrows his eyes and points finger at her, getting annoyed.
So what I say GOES! KAPIECH!? And remember your carrying MY KIDS in you as well. So you try anything funny you know I'll ruin you to the point of no return and I'll take the kids from you.
Growling out she stares him down and narrows her eyes back. With not much choice she nods. She hated it when he was right but right now she had to get back out on stage. So turning around and ignoring him she runs over to the lift that was waiting for her that takes her up thirty stories as her new outfit was checked over one last time. The idea was for her to use her new modified outfit that their new Tech Acela designed to give the look and feel of her flying. The cables she made would blend in so no one would tell she was on a wire.
The wings on her back were nothing more than fabricated techno Angel Wings that would light up in different colors as fake flames shot out of the backpack like device on her back. Her white percentile and gold hemmed dress, if one could really CALL it that, was slinky in a way that it had a diamond cut out leotard that showed the whole of her belly and the top part of it covered her breast, why a long half skirt was at her waist in layers. She had long blue glitter heels in a goddess style look. She had braces on her arms in a similar style as well.
Acela you sure this will work? I know we tested it out but even you should know something can…
STOP IT ERIS!
Eris shuts up right away gulping.
You know as well as I do you start that now something WILL happen. Just trust me. Alright? You'll be great out there, and we have a back up plan as well remember? That is if something SHOULD go wrong. Right?
Sighing out she nods.
Right.
Now get ready, the next part is coming up. Go WOW New Tokyo Raze City, and who knows? Maybe tall dark and Mysterious will be out there watching tonight.

Maybe? He has yet to not show up far as I know.
With that in mind Eris looks out over the crowd hoping to maybe spot him but with as high up as she was now she couldn't tell. Sighing out she looks to Acela.
Hey don't worry, he will show. Not come on it's time.
Nodding, she gets ready as the crane slowly lifts her up and Acela takes her leave.
Taking a deep breath to steady herself, she closes her eyes and bows her head as she speaks to \ Regina and the girls via the headset.
Hey girls, do you see him?
See who?
You know who Ray-Ray.
Yeah Ray come on. Don't be like that.
OOOOH you mean Mr. Tall Dark and Mysterious hmm?
Ignore her Eris. But so far I haven't seen him yet. Maybe he didn't come to watch?

Well Micha is right. He has yet to miss one of our concerts so I'm sure he is here somewhere. But get ready girl you jump in...4….3….2….1….NOW!
With that said, Eris runs across the metal platform with her heels making a tap click, tap click sound as she jumps off the platform, making everyone in the crowd gasp out, as she sings the chores.

The wings on her back snap open as the fake flames light up and the cable goes taunt as it swings her around the New Raze Tokyo Dome making everyone cheer as she goes flying over them.

Just as she was finishing, something went wrong. She hears the wings backpack sputter out, as the hook creaks as something slowly starts to snap. She cries out in surprise at first when she is jolted, till she hears another snap. She looked behind her, and the cable was not only showing but was snapping as well. Her eyes widen in shock and fear as she yells into the headset.
THE CABLES SNAPPING! SOMEONE DO SOMETHING FAST!
WE CAN'T THE CONTROLS ARE NOT RESPONDING! THERE'S NOTHING WE CAN DO! TRY AND HOLD ON ERIS, WILL TRY AND GET THIS FIGURED OUT FAST!
REGINA DO SOMETHING!
I CAN'T MY DJ BOOTH JUST WENT DEAD!
At the moment the whole of the Dome goes dark, everyone in the crowd starts to panic, yell and scream, as the only thing lighting the dome was the night sky, moon and stars. Tears streamed from her eyes as she reached behind her to try and grab the cable but couldn't reach it with the wings in the way. Soon the back up lights come on and shine on Eris as everyone looks up as she now hangs thirty stories up above the crowd and the stage platform below. To her it looked as if there was a bright red BULLSEYE painted on it and she was DEAD cent to it.
As she struggles to get past her wings and to the cable another snapping sound could be heard as she is jolted once more as another strand brakes. Along with it she hears a popping sound and she could tell one of the bolts to the hook had come loose. Her eyes widen as she stops moving about. But that did little to help as she heard a ripping sound and she looks over and sees that one of the four, what she thought was to have been strong straps, of the wings backpack ripping till it breaks apart and she slides out part way as another of the four brakes and she fully slides out. She screams and grabs a hold of the remaining straps and pulls herself up and holds onto them as she calls out to her friends as the crowd holds their breath as they watch on, unable to do anything to help.
REGINA, MICHA, MICA, TINNY, RAY-RAY, ACELA, HELP ME PLEASE! SOMEONE, ANYONE HELP ME!
They ran to the center of the stage platform to try and catch her should she fall, but the evidence was clear on their face, they were all scared. If she fell and if they did catch her it would be a Miracle if she or them even survived. Everyone watches on as Eris hears something. At first she thought it was the cable braking even more till she here's a buzzing like hum and she realized it was the wench lowering her down. It goes slowly as she hears a voice via the headset.
Just hold on a bit longer, we're having to lower you down manually and it isn't easy Eris. The back up power is running on fumes for some reason, and no one knows why so just try and hold on will have you down soon.
P-Please Ash...help me.. I'm scared…
I know, I know. Just hold on love, and Eris?

I'm sorry. You were right and I should have listened to you, and I'm sorry.

But before he could finish what he was saying Eris let out a scream as another of the bolts on the backpack snapped free causing her to lose her grip and slide down. Tears streamed down her face as her eyes looked frantically for help. But she sees nothing to help her now. She closes her eyes and sobs. The last thing to cross her mind was HIM.
I'm sorry I couldn't see you one last time Blackies. If you're out there look away and don't watch. I don't want you seeing me fall to my death. I want you to see me as I was before all this.
Her hands finally slip free as everyone yells and screams out as she falls. Eris' eyes snap open when she feels this and she screams out as her arms and legs flail about as she slowly falls to her death. In one last stitch effort she yells out for the only one she hoped was around to help her now. The only one she knew could save her.
BLACKIES! HELLLLP ME!
Present day, 2am late spring of 3288 day 150 (May 30th)
Eris bolts up right in her bed panting hard. Sweat covers her body and her hair is a mess. She holds a hand to her chest trying to catch her breath. It felt like she had run the New Tokyo Raze City triathlon. She closes her eyes and gulps in a bit of air as she looks around confused for a moment on where she was. Taking in another bit of air she closes her eyes to calm herself. When she opens them she finally sees she's in her room at her beach home. It brought her some comfort knowing this. She looks at the clock next to her bed and sees it's only 2 in the morning. Sighing out she throws the covers off her and gets up and out of bed.
She was in a black men's tank top that had an upside down cross on it and lavender color thigh high underwear that had lace at the waistband and leg holes. She walks over to the opened doors to her balcony, the curtains blowing in the cool night air. It was still pretty much spring, but the hotter days of summer were around the corner and coming fast for New Tokyo Raze City, and tonight was showing one of those hints that it was. She leans on the railing of her balcony that overlooked her private beach and the city. She leans on the railing and looks out over the waters and sees the city light shining. It had only been three weeks and the media and more had yet to shut up about what happened at her last concert. As she leaned there the rest of what had happened came back to her, haunting her. She closed her eyes and lets what happened play out once more….
Three weeks ago…
Unknowing to everyone, up on the top of the 250 foot Dome was a lone dark figure. He had been up there since the start of the concert watching her like always. He had on a pair of black denim jeans on, a black tight fitting tank top that had an upside down cross on it, that a bit of white fur peeked out of the top, and a pair of black and red cowboy boots. Over his tank top he had a black leather jacket on as well, on the back was some sort of spiked spiral logo of some kind.
On his back was a set of bat-like wings that when opened span five feet long. The back of them were black as the front were red. The single close on each wing was black with a tint of red. His long tail waves behind him, it was three foot long, just a bit longer than hers and all black. On it had three silver bands on it that had elegant rose-like markings and a single Blood Ruby in them.
His fur and quills had red streaks that showed on his arms, legs, even though they were covered right now, and on his quills and just a bit around his eyes. He had a tan muzzle, and the most beautiful crimson's eyes tinted with gold at the edges. His horns were dragon-like, going in a wave like form, and like his tail had two silver bands much like the three on his tail. One in the middle and one that covered the tip. He also had the same silver bands on his wing claws.
Before the incident happened, he was sitting in a relaxed position. He had his left leg bent up as right one hung over the side of the dome, as he rested both his arms on his leg and rested his chin on them as he watched her. But as the stunt with the wings happened he looked on in shock as his Angel fell to her death. Seeing as there was no way that anyone else could save her. He gets up and runs off the edge of the dome and free falls till he is fifteen feet above the crowd and he snaps open his wings at the last second, angling upwards in time as a loud whoosh could be heard as he shoots right for Eris.
He flies right under her and catches in his arms and flies upwards so fast he was a black and red blur. Everyone in the crowd, and on the sage, gasp out as they watch on. Instinctively she holds onto him as he slows his trajectory, and hovers in place for a moment as he pants. He looks down at her in his arms and smiles. He slowly flaps his wings and descends down as he holds her.
Eris finally realizes that she wasn't falling anymore. As they slowly descend the power comes back on and the recording goes off. The girls and Mica come out of their shock state as it was Ray-Ray who runs back and picks up her Axe and starts to pay the chores once more, snapping the others out of it as they run back and start playing, trying to save the living hell that happened. At the same time Eris looks up and sees shes in his arms and for a moment she was about to burst into a new set of tears when he smiles at her her as he uses his tail to reaches up and taps the side of his head where a hidden earpiece was and starts to sing out the last few lines once more. His deep melodious ringing out across the dome.

Eris snaps out of her confusing and sings along with him, as she feels him letting her legs fall as he holds her close to him around the waist as she places her hands on his chest and looks at him as he flaps his wings gently, turning them in a circle, as her angelic voice and his deep melodious voice coming together in perfect harmony as they sing the rest of the song together as he looks into her eyes and she into his as tears silently fall but her voice doesn't crack even once as she sings with him.

They finally land on the stage platform, as he holds her left hand with his, keeping his other around her waist. Their gaze never leaves one another as the land. His wings fold silently behind him as time stands still around them as the crowd, the stage hands and Ash hold their breath wondering who this dark savior was. The only one's truly knowing who he was, were the girls and Mica, and a few of her closest guards and some stage hands. Tears fall from Eris eyes as she looks at him. She starts to say something, but is cut off when he leans down slowly and kisses. Eris eyes widen in shock surprise but soon they close as the crowd goes wild and nuts with the finale closing act.
The crowd keeps cheering at the sight and demanding an encore with her and her mysterious savior. They broke the kiss as Eris smiled at him.
What do you say Blackies? One more song?
Sure, and I know the perfect one.
Yeah?
Yeah.
Smiling, Eris takes the lead knowing the song he was talking about. After they encore the walk of stage and to the backstage it wasn't till they were back there that Eris started to finally realized what happened, but before she could do or say anything everyone was hounding her and pushing Blackies out of the way just to make sure she was alright. He takes this as a sign for moves to the Shadows. He would meet up with her later when they could have more private time together. Eris tries her best to get away from them and find him, but she ends up losing sight of him. Her ears fall when a voice catches her attention and she ends up getting pissed as she looks to where it was coming from.
ERIS! ERIS MY SWEET ONE! ARE YOU ALRIGHT?!
Ash comes running over to her, pushing everyone out of the way so he could get to his girl, but before he could lay a finger on her, Eris takes a hold of Tinnie's Axe Guitar and swings it around so fast and hard like a baseball bat and hits him dead on in the face and sends him flying into some spare equipment.
MY AXE!?
Tinnie cries out as she takes a hold of it seeing that it was busted at the neck and had an Ash shaped head hole in it as everyone else gasps out at what happened as Eris storms over to Ash as he sits up holding his head shaking it. Tinnie in the meantime was crying in the background at the loss of her beloved Axe Guitar and Micha was trying to comfort her.
DON'T YOU ERIS MY SWEET ME YOU FUCKING RAT! I TOLD YOU DOING THAT STUNT OF YOURS WOULD BE A BAD IDEA AND LOOK WHAT NEARLY HAPPENED YOU FUCKING BASTARD!
Eris throws out her arm and to the stage to emphasize.
YOU ENDANGERED NOT ONLY ME, BUT THE FANS AS WELL, EVEN THE TEAM, NOT TO SAY MY UNBORN CHILDREN, AND WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO THE BACK UP PLAN?! ACELA I THOUGHT YOU SAID YOU HAD ONE!?
Eris looks over at Acela yelling at her.
W-We did, but the power went out as we started to initiate it, and the backup generator stopped working for some reason. I-I don't know what happened. I swear.
Eris looks at her and she could tell she was telling the truth. She needed to calm down, she was stressing out and that wasn't good for her or the babies right now. She feels a firm hand on her shoulder and looks over and sees Mica. He smiles softly at her and points with a thumb behind him. Getting the clue she nods once and walks off.
If anyone needs me I'll be in my trailer. And by ANYONE, I mean the girls, Ace and Mica. I catch you in there Ash I'll kill you. After tonight you and me are done, and I'm firing you as our Bands manager. This is on you. Not Acela, the band or the team. But you. We all voiced our thoughts on this stunt and yet you forced us all into it the last minute not giving us any choice but to do it. Mina was right about you, I shouldn't have listened to you.
With that, Eris walks off and as she does she starts to rip off her costume and throw it here and there. By the time she was at her trailer, the only thing she had on was her leotard and shoes. As she steps up and opens her door, she looks over to her security and nods at them and three guards, a red echidna, a white panther and a polar bear, walk over and guard the door as she walks in and slams the door behind her, making the Polar bear jump slightly.
Jumpy much Bark?
Knuckles chuckles as Bark glares at him growling out as he goes back to guarding. Once inside she leans against it and places a hand over her face as she slides down the door both, physically and emotionally drained as her knees bend. She rests her arms on her knees and buries her face sighing out. But as she sits there she feels something brushing against her the back of her left ear. She takes a hold of it smiling a tiny bit as it brushes her hair back as she speaks.
If you hadn't been there to save me Blackies there's no telling what could have happened.
She tells him in a soft whisper as he kneels down to her level and continues to stroke her hair with his hand now, as his tail comes around her and pulls her to him as a bright light shines for a moment and his wings fade away leaving only his horns and tail, as she rests her hands on his chest along with her forehead. She lets out a shaky breath that breaks into a sob. He wraps his arms around her as he feels her grabbing his shirt.
I'm here, my Angel. I'm here.
After a few moment's he picks her up and carries her to her room and lays her down on her bed. Making sure that the windows were closed, and the blackout curtains, he takes off his shoes, jacket and top and goes to lay with her allowing her to snuggle up to him as he wraps his arms around her and holds her. They stay quiet for a time till he chuckles softly.
What's so funny?
Nothing really but the fact that you'll need to remind me not to get on your bad side next time should I get an Axe Guitar in the face.
Eris blushes as he feels her snuggling into him more.
H-he had it coming for a long time. This was the last straw. He nearly got us killed Blackies.
He sighs out and holds her close as he closes his eyes.
Yeah I know, and if anything had happened to you or our children, if I wasn't around to save you…
He sighs out again not wanting to think about it any more, and instead just hold on to her. After that they stay quiet for a time and after a time she gets up and straddles him looking down at him as he looks at her smiling. He knew what she wanted and he was more than happy to sub come to her will. He reaches up and unzips the back of her leotard and pulls it down her body. Taking a hold of her he rolls her over so he is on top of her and stands up taking off his pants and boxers, and finishes taking off her leotard.
From there he leans down kissing her as she holds onto him. After a moment she could feel him press into her going deep and started to thrust into her slowly. For the next couple of hours they ended up making love with one another. Some time after their love-making she had fallen asleep in his arms. Smiling at her, he kisses her forehead and gently removes himself from her, careful not to wake her up. From there he gets dressed and quietly leaves her trailer tossing his jacket over his shoulder walks out. On his way out he is greeted by Birch, Tank and Lance who nod at him and smile as he looks up at the setting sun.
How is she?
Shaken still Lance. I have a feeling that near death experience really did it for her.

Thankfully I could hear their heart beat so their fine as well.
That's relief.

So what do you think will happen now?
Well as you know me and Tails spoke with her on the matter of disbanding for a time so she can worry about the twins health and hers. Not to say she, or you for that matter, have yet to get a chance to grieve for the loss of Lock. I think it's time that happens, and the only way will be disbanding for a time. That prick will never give her a chance to, and if she doesn't get a chance to it will only end badly, and I refuse to allow that to happen to her. I have a feeling this has changed her. Whether it be for good or bad I don't know? All I know is I no longer want her around that prick that tried to get her killed because he refused to listen to her.
Knuckles hums out knowing what he was saying was true. He, nore Eris, didn't have time to grieve for the loss of his father, and as for Ash, he no longer wanted Eris around him either. He and some of the other's didn't not after what just happened.

A couple hours later Eris stirs awake feeling something nuzzling her. She moans out and opens her eyes and looks around for a moment and sees that Blackies was gone. But when she rolled over she could see a rose and a Note next to it that said…

Looking up at her pet, Shadow Chao she smiles. Getting up she puts on a bathrobe and walks to the front of her trailer where she sees everyone and opens the door to her trailer once more and pokes her head out.
Lance, get me Reggie at once. Tell him I need him now and to bring the black and cosmic purple hair dye.
Right away Eris.
Lance goes to get him as she heads back in and to her laptop and boots it up and starts looking at hair cuts.
Eris?
Ray-ray asks her.

Is everything alright? I mean I know that is a stupid question but still?

Once they are gone she takes her laptop and walks over to the dressing room to her trailer and sets the laptop down and shows him the image she found. It was an asymmetrical wavy pixie cut hair style. It was cut close to the scalp forming into a sort of crew/hawk style with the bangs off to the side, meaning she wouldn't need her bangs cut much at all. He folds his arms and rubs his chin and he leans over her and types in something and after a moment a new page comes up and working his magic he had what he needed.

It takes him two hours to finish her hair giving her time during it all to paint her nails and go through her wardrobe. She tosses what she had in her hand and goes over to him to finish. After he was done he turned her around so she could see.

He leads her to a sort of full body shower stall and he types away at it. Taking the digital pad he hands it to her as she plays around for a moment.

Alright then let me put this hair cap on you and you can step inside.
As he does that making sure her hair is covered well, she drops her robe and steps inside the fur dye machine. At once it lights up and it starts doing its work. It covers her whole body with the midnight black fur dye to make her as black as he was. From there it adds the markings she wanted and where next. It does this several times, with a wash in between each coating till every bit of her old self was gone, and the new her showed. Once she was happy with how she looks, she gets one last shower to make sure she has all the dye off her and starts to get ready. Reggie at some point when he knew he was done leaves her to her own and waits outside with everyone else.

Regina looks to him worried.
She'll be out soon. But she asked everyone to leave and not stay around. Only ones she wants around are Lance, Knuckles and Bark. No one else. So I think it's best we follow her wishes.

Everyone looks at one another and they sigh out as they all leave as Lance, bark and Knuckles said behind. When everyone is gone Knuckles hears a click and looks over to the trailer and gasps out seeing Eris. Bark and Lance were taken back as well. Her fur was now a deep midnight to ebony black, with cosmic purple stripes on her arms, legs, though the where covered right now they where there, her hair was the asymmetrical wavy pixie cut she wanted it and it was streaked with the same cosmic purple color.
She had on midnight shimmer purple eye shadow, and lipstick. In her ear she had studs and a pair of hoop earrings. Around her neck was a spiked collar with an upside down cross, she had black leather fingerless that had deep purple cuffs on them, that had a steel band and steel flat knuckles on them that shined in the fading lowering sunset's light. She had on a black crop top that hooked in the back of the neck, and on the front of it was a spiked spiral on the front of it. She had on tight fitting leather pants on and leather cafe high thin heel biker boots on. Her eyes, what had been Heterochromia Sectoral, with her right being blue and purple, and her left being soft pink and orange, where now dyed like someone they knew. She had her mini leather jack flung over her shoulder as she walked out, her heels clicking against the paved ground.

Knuckles asks as her left ear moves to the sound of his Voice.

The three boys look at one another shocked that she was taking on part of her first name as there comes a gasp from their left and Bella looks behind her and standing there is Ray-Ray. They stare at one another for a long time, an unspoken conversation going on between them. Tears fall from Ray-Ray's eyes and she turns around and runs away. Sighing, she decides to get up and starts her day. Stretching out as she gets up she walks into the bathroom and gets a fast shower and gets dressed. She decides to go with a pair of stylish black and purple yoga pants with the matching Sports bra, and decides to steal one of Shadows Tank tops. Putting it on she walks out down and stretches once more holding her left arm up and holding it with her right hand at the elbow till a pop sounds.
Mm that felt good. So what should I have for today? It's almost lunch so I guess I should think about that. Never did get my in-the-middle-of-the-night-snack.

She had found that there were a few things she could eat in the morning that wouldn't upset her stomach later on in the day why she was in her first trimester, and one of them happened to be Knuckles Island Berry muffins. He used berries from his island home and would bring them over every time he made them.

It is more than likely they already fled the City and moved on. The NTRCPD did manage to get an ID of the suspects and are asking the people of NTRC to keep a look out for four men who were involved with it.
Next up we have Mayor Minx at it once again. As you can see here he is at a ribbon cutting ceremony as he opens up the new water slide amusement park, Retro Waves, for all. He is hoping with this new water park that New Tokyo Raze City will get more tourism for the summer months.

It is about a woman named Kelley Smith who ends up losing the love of her life, played by Blake Howl, to a tragic accident. It leaves her broken to the point she no longer wishes to live till one night a stranger comes from the Stars with a message.

Their drummer Tails, Gadget the second Bass guitarist, and their keyboardists Espio.
As they all watch what is going on Shadow cells phone rings and he answers it as the news goes on. Mina catches this and looks at him.
