Zira's P.O.V

The last thing I see is Kiara's face as I'm falling down into the rushing river below, that bitch deserves what's coming to her.

Yes you may say that she tried to save me, and yes you are correct, but that doesn't matter she was the one who put me in that position in the first place.

I awake and look around and I see hyenas surrounding my body licking their lips.

"Well, well, well look who is alive, the mate of scar! well we will see to it that you are dead too!" Shenzi shouted

"NO WAIT!" I shouted.

"I agree scar was harsh on you! but please let me live and I'll help you destroy the pridelands and help you kill the family of the pridelands! I have a plan that might just work!" I say while laughing evilly.

"how do we know we can trust you? You are just as bad that bastard who betrayed us!" Shenzi said while gritting her teeth.

"I know he did but I swear to you it won't happen again, if you want the pridelands destroyed as bad as I do I'm your only shot" I say to Shenzi.

"Alright what's your plan?" Shenzi said as she turned to face me.

"Every morning Simba or Nala go on a hunt if we can surprise her then we can snatch her/him and kill her/him then we leave the body for them to find then the next time one of them hunts we take Simba out then we take out Kovu and Kiara how does that sound?"

"Sounds dumb I'm not going to lie but if you think it will work then we will try it." Shenzi said to me unsure.

"I promise you Shenzi it will work". I say confidently.

"Ok then we go along with it. We will let you get healed up then we will go for the attack, how does that sound?" Shenzi said to me.

"Sounds like a great plan" I say as I nod my head at her.

Kiara's P.O.V

I was in the den laying down while trying not to fall asleep. I really struggled to sleep last night due to what happened with Zira, I could've prevented it but she didn't grab my paw. I mean I can't be in the wrong can I? I mean I tried my hardest to save her. A tear escaped my eye, I saw Kovu walk over.

"Is everything ok Kiara?" He said with worry in his voice. "I know you didn't get much sleep last night, you can go back to sleep you know I'll take over your duties for today if you want?" He said while licking my cheek.

"I can do them, don't worry, I mean you can come with me if you want if you're really that worried" I say while smiling at him. He smiles back. Alright fine I'll come with you then you can show me what you all really do around here, you know patrolling wise." He says with a big smile on his face.

"You're really excited aren't you? Well I mostly do the patrolling around the fields you know make sure no one is causing any problems, well in that case if these two aren't causing any problems," I say while glaring at Timone and Pumbaa. They both laugh nervously. Anyway let's go I'll show you around.

We exit the den and make our way out into the fields.

"So over there is what I like to call the toilet field, you might wanna hold your breath going there though" I chuckle. I start to run ahead, I see Kovu running after me.

"Catch me if you can" I shout while laughing.

"Oh trust me I will" I heard Kovu shout. I look behind me and I don't see him. I start to get confused then I feel jump on my back and pin me down to the ground, I turn around and see Kovu on top of me, I lick his cheek. "I love you Kovu," I say while smiling. He smiles back and leans in and we kiss passionately.

"I love you too Kiara," he says with a huge smile too. We make our way around the fields and I show him everything and then I saw that it was starting to get dark.

"Shall we go to the ridge and look up at the stars?" I say while looking at his grass green eyes, he nods his head at me and agrees. We head towards the ridge. We look at the stars. I point at one that looks like an elephant face.

"Hey that one looks like an elephant don't ya think?" I say while chuckling.

"Yeah it does" Kovu chuckles. I see him point at one that looked like a monkey.

"Hey that one looks like a monkey don't ya think?" He said while chuckling.

"How are the lovebirds doing?" My father said as he approached us. I get up and sit up straight.

"Just looking at the stars dad. Like we used to do," I say while smiling at him, he smiled back at me, "alright let's head back into the den shall we?" He said while walking away.

We make it back to the den and I see Kovu going to lay outside.

"Kovu are you not coming inside?" I asked him, he turned his head to me.

"Nah I think I'm going to go sleep outside under the stars and I was hoping you'd join me?" He said looking at me with his sad cute eyes.

"I hate it when you do them eyes it makes me feel extremely guilty, fine I'll stay outside with you tonight only because I want too." I say while laying next to and I cuddle into his soft mane and within seconds I'm asleep. The last thing I hear is Kovu. "Goodnight sweetheart" he said as he licked my cheek. I give off a small smile and dive into a deep sleep.
