A/N: Dudes guess what won. Yes friends through the close odds of 41 to 37 SVTFOE won over Ben 10. And yes I took into account that some people who PM'd me a vote might have also voted on the poll. But then I would have to discount a good thirty odd votes. And some of them were for other poll contenders. Still I hope with the large amount of people that voted and wanted to see how I would lewd this fandom I read up on the top ships for the fandom. I also asked my fellow writers and friends Jester Smiles to see what stories I should read to get ideas. But the biggest ship that I'm surprised even I liked is one that has very few stories out. And the ones that I have found are short or they haven't been given updates for some time. I also had binge watched the show so I'm caught up and I'll be honest the shows final season left me feeling very empty. I want to say it was rushed and felt as if it was trying to start over but couldn't understand itself. And the numerous flaws it had from the last season left me feeling as if some characters lost themselves. So I'll be reckoning or flat out ignoring much of the canon timeline for the last season. And settling up an AU timeline as I write the story. Also much love to the writers that inspired this story. And again thank you all dudes for coming to read. Marco Diaz sighs as he walks the halls of the lush royal palace that is Butterfly castle. Marco thought his surprise return would have been more well eventful. Yes finding out that Star and Tom are back together is a surprise. But Marco couldn't believe that no one stopped to talk to him. Or the very least be happy to see him. Marco got the impression that everyone thought they'd never see him again. Even though he can travel anywhere due to him possessing his own dimensional scissors.
But now Marco is happy for two reasons. One he's earned a decent level of respect from some of the older knights after defecting the lint monster in single combat. And two many seem to have been surprised at how friendly he has been with the recently released queen of darkness Eclipsa. Marco doesn't seem to understand how so many fear her. But the knights assigned to watch Eclipsa are often surprised at how friendly she is to him. Or out right flirty with him.
In Marco's mind she's a kind woman with a bit of a silly or teasing sense of humor. Eclipsa made fun of his battle stance only for Marco to show her how dangerous his hands are. This also got some knights thinking about their hand to hand skills when Marco smashed a cement block. Bonus to Marco's is that he became a squire even though Star seems to just drop everything and hangout with Tom. But Marco has managed to control Glossaryck even in his out there mental state.
Today Marco has a day off as Star told him but she still asks him to check in on Glossaryck. He originally was thinking of going to see what Hekapoo is up to. But something nudged Marco to explore the castle a little more. Marco makes a turn to stop as a maid walks by with a stack of papers. As Marco watches the maid struggle he quickly comes to her aid.
Catching the maid Marco says, "Here let me help."
The maid blushes to say "Thank you kind sir."
Marco asks "So where are you taking all these papers?"
The maid answers "To the queens office. Kind River told me to place these inside her office near his usual paper corner."
Marco shrugs taking command of the papers so the maid can lead the way. Marco enters queens Moons office for the first time and is shocked. He's surprised by the large stacks of papers against three different walls or bookcases. The maid bows as queen Moon looks up.
Queen Moon groans to ask, "Where did these come from?"
The maid answers, "King River just sent them my queen. He said they're with the usual pile."
Queen Moon nods for the maid to take the papers to put them with a large pile off to the side. She bows to queen Moon and leaves with a small thanks to Marco. Marco looks to queen Moon worried by how she's rubbing her temples.
Marco asks "Um queen Moon don't you have an assistant to help you with all these papers?"
Queen Moon sighs to say "What? Oh no Marco I don't. It's usually me that does all the filing, paper work, and agreement signing for the kingdom. And believe me it's a lot."
Marco nods to walk close to her desk noting the papers still waiting to be read. Compared to the papers that have already been looked at. Marco getting really worried with how stressed queen Moon looks. He can only imagine what kind of budget the kingdom has due to all the repairs they just finished.
Marco says, "Um queen Moon sorry to bring this up but Star wanted to talk with you. She asked me if I saw you to let you know."
Queen Moon sighs to look at Marco saying, "I'm sorry Marco but Star will have to wait. I still have to look over this months corn harvest and help sort the export."
Marco says, "Sorry but she said it had something to do with Eclipsa and her daughter? And that it was really important. She didn't tell me much more then that besides that she was going to talk to Eclipsa."
Queen Moon sighs to say "Great now she's talking to Eclipsa. Alright I'll go see what Star wants. Thank you for telling me Marco. Please wait here and place any new papers to one side for me to see to when I return."
Queen Moon leaves but takes a large book with her. Marco waves her off as she walks down the hall. Marco however glances back inside queen Moon's office and all the papers still waiting inside. Taking up his dimensional scissors Marco steps into Quest Buy picking up several binders, a box full of envelopes, a few spiral notebooks, and a small armies worth of pens. Placing all the supplies down Marco gets to reading and sorting. Placing trade and export to one pile, documents and agreements to another, laws and royal legers to another. And lastly all recipes and business expenses charged to the kingdom in the last pile.
Exhaling Marco cracks his back to see that he just spent three hours just sorting all the papers in the office. Opening a portal to Stars room Marco sees Glossaryck running around lick a wild dog. Whistle Marco gains the attention of the man blue man stopping him to run to Marco. Marco places two packs of pudding in front of him and Glossaryck eats up. Marco sighs watches his wild feast to wipe Glossaryck face and lead him to the bathroom. Finished his business Glossaryck prunes his bed like a cat to curle up and sleep. Marco quickly heads back into queen Moon's office.
Marco works well into the late hours as he writes notes, makes quota marks, and places certain documents to the side. Some documents shock Marco with who are attached to the expenses. While others leave him completely confused as to why no one commented on them. Marco finishing the major work with only two hours before breakfast. Yawning Marco cracks his back to head to his room. Taking a hot shower Marco open an energy bar as he puts on some clean clothes. Changed Marco goes to his mini fridge for a protein shack and heads back to queen Moon's office.
Queen Moon awoke as she normally did these days alone without River sleeping besides her. Queen Moon sits up to yawn for a short moment but turns as her handmaids knock and enter. Already her handmaids have drawn her bathe and are ready to assist in getting her dressed. Queen Moon after being escorted to the dinning hall thanks her maids as well as the chief. Reading the news of the day queen Moon wonders what Star is up to after the confrontation with the Magical High Commission. But queen Moon can't go after Star just yet until she has sorted out the kingdoms budget and export. After her meal queen Moon exhale deeply readying herself mentally.
Queen Moon thinks 'I can't believe that such a large part of our family was shifted over due to the Commissions decision. I know monsters weren't and still aren't fondly looked upon. But Eclipsa really did love her monster husband. Star took it all well but the question now is where to start looking for them?'
Queen Moon however on opening the door finds Marco near her desk placing a few papers to one side. Marco like a deer in headlights stands saluting the queen and mumbling fast over his own words. Shaking off her surprise and shock at seeing the piles of paper organized queen Moon approaches. Seeing each stack organized and neat the queen looks to Marco for an explanation.
Queen Moon asks "Marco did you do all this?"
Marco nods to rub his sore and clearly sleep lacking eyes to answer, "Yeah queen Moon I saw how stressed you were yesterday and wanted to help. Spent the whole night organizing the papers into these folders and just managed to finish looking over some very old forms too. But um queen Moon I think you'll want to look at the kingdoms expenses and payment papers first."
Queen Moon is confused and worried. She knows the kingdom is very tight on funds right now. She was going to go over the budget in a few days with her kingdoms treasury scholar. Sitting down queen Moon opens the binder as Marco hands her the loose forms he's holding.
Queen Moon following notes and numbers slowly grows worried. Until her once calm face is shocked after reading only five pages into the seven pages highlighted. She looks over more papers and the notes Marco made to dip her head. Queen Moon stops reading as she comes to the final pages outlining the kingdoms budget and final income results. Marco gulps as the once stoic queen slumps her shoulders to address Marco without turning to him.
Queen Moon asks, "Marco how many times did you go over these numbers?"
Marco answers "Three times queen Moon. I'm sorry to say but in four months the kingdom will have no money... And from the latest expense your family has collectively made. There is no way the kingdom can raise or payback anyone they made their purchases from."
Queen Moon covers her face with her hands knowing she is truly out of options. And as Marco just confirmed with no allies to agree to borrow funds from. Her kingdom is doomed to end before her daughter ascended to the throne. Marco gulps not sure what to do and very worried he made a mistake in his counting.
But before he could suggest anything queen Moon says "Marco please tell no one of this. I need your word as the squire to the royal family you will not tell a soul."
Marco is about to protest when queen Moons looks at him with very water eyes. Marco stops in his tracks to bow acknowledging his queens orders. Queen Moon however stands to pet Marco's facing thanking him for his loyal service to her kingdom, her people, and most of all her family. Marco takes his leave allowing queen Moon to be alone in her thoughts.
Marco walks the castle halls in silence not sure what to do. As he turns he looks out into the castle gardens wondering if he should break his promise and tell Star. But he gave his word to keep quiet. So he'll have to do the next best thing talk to another queen. Using his scissors Marco cuts his way into Eclipsa's room hurrying to get her input.
Marco steps out from the portal saying "Eclipsa I need to ask you... Oh man your changing!"
Marco quickly turns around finding Eclipsa in only her purple and black trimmed underwear. The so called queen of darkness giggles as Marco keeps his back to her. But she knows Marco already got a good look at her figure as well as her large breasts.

Marco nods to say, "It must be rough but I wish I could do something. I mean the last thing I want is for the princess I'm friends with to sell stuff dating back generations, just to hold off some of their debt. But I have no idea how to help her and she asked me just to let things happen. Like she's tired of trying to fix things."
Eclipsa hums to ask "Marco you did say you are a pretend princess that is recognized by other princess. And that they sell merchandise and other things about you. Why not use your royalty checks from the merchandize sold to help your friend. And you told me you adventured in Hekapoo's dimension for several years. Didn't you get a decent amount of payment or loot?"
Marco nods to answer "Yeah but I only remember some of the stuff that happened on my scissors quest. Most of the other stuff when I try to remember I can't piece things together. I haven't seen Hekapoo in a few weeks so I haven't been able to ask her either."
Eclipsa hums to ask "Marco can you turn around? I think I might have an idea of what's wrong."
Marco asks "Why? Wait you better no try to change the pieces from the game around again."
Eclipsa promises she won't so Marco complies. Eclipsa looks over Marco's scalp to find the culprit of his memory loss. A magical palm print being Hekapoo's tell tale calling card.
Eclipsa says, "Marco sweetie this might sting and be a shock so bare with me."
Before Marco can ask Eclipsa slaps his head hard shaking off the palm print and jumpstarting a long flashback for Marco. A flood for once locked off memories enters his mind. Marco remembers both the heroic and slightly villainous deeds he took part in or committed during his sixteen years of questing.
Marco sits there for several minutes to stand and turn abruptly. Eclipsa a bit worried is grabbed by Marco who plants a big smooch right to her lips. Pulling away from the shocked queen with a pop from their lips. Marco bounces with joy as he has a plan. Marco rushes out through a portal as Eclipsa shakes off her surprise to giggle into her hand.
Eclipsa gives a soft wave as Marco's portal closes saying "Well looks like Marco isn't a shy boy anymore and he really is a good kisser. Looks like I own Hekapoo twelve crowns."
Marco pushes right into Hekapoo's forge with the doors burst open Marco finds a clone lounging with a magazine. Marco can tell she's a clone due to the coloration of her horns. From the depths of the Unspoken seas to the Endless Pit of Giants Belly. Across the Sightless Library and finally to the Well of Endless Roots Marco's adventures would have made others quit. But Marco finished his quest and proved to Hekapoo that he wasn't a little boy.
Marco had made a big name for himself here in the Neverzone too and a number of unnamed dimensions. If he had to guess original Hekapoo kept slapping his head so he would block out his darker memories. And well keep him a bit innocent from how close they became during his scissors trail. But no time for his continuing trip down memory lane. Marco has to move his riches to somewhere more convent. Then he can go forward with his new plan for his life on Mewni.
It's a soft night in Mewni as queen Moon sits in her office looking out at the star filled sky. Star is off with her friends and boyfriend no doubt to return home late. Then there's River off hunting for the next few days. Leaving queen Moon alone in her portion of the castle. Walking over to a small shelf queen Moon opens a small box. Inside of the box is a memento from a long time ago... Queen Moon sits down to bring the red and gold trimmed hooded cape to her nose. Breathing deeply she exhales loving the soft floral and honey aroma that still lingers on it to this day. For years queen Moon always wondered what became of the young lord she met so many years ago.

Far off in another dimension Marco rides Nachos to an island that is very familiar to some. The gold logo of fire combined with the red banner reminding Marco of how much time he spent in these war rich lands. And how much fun he had getting close to a select few ladies. Landing Nachos the black and red armored guards surround Marco. With the guards training spears and holding their battles stances ready to strike at Marco. But Marco holds out a medallion stopping the guards.
Seeing the insignia they ease their stances for Marco to say "I want an audience with the Fire Lord."
The guards nod as Marco walks into the place a few guards escorting him. Nachos remaining outside as Marco asked her to. Nachos takes off to land on one of the guard towers. Even wiser was your console on putting those twins in charge so that no resistance movements would come up. But some Water tribe members have been seen aiding Earth kingdom shores."
Marco says "But I'm sure you know of a way to deal with them."
Azula nods to answer, "A few ideas have been put before me. The chief war engineers have discovered a new means of warfare that you wouldn't believe. Now wait here and get ready Ty Lee and Mia will be along shortly."

Marco takes a few steps into the foyer but stops as candles ignite all around him and Nachos. The candles continue to light to reveal a pale woman with lush pinned sideways red hair. The woman glare softens as Marco steps forward to her throne. Marco stops a few feet away to bow until his knee touch the floor.
Marco says, "My countess Carmela I have returned... I'm sorry."
The countess slowly floats across the floor her steps silent. But as she reaches for Marco her hands phases through his face. Marco is left in shock as the ghost woman kneels and weeps before him. Marco waits for the countess to calm and regale him of what became of her kingdom, her daughters, her sisters, her allies, and finally herself.
Marco now standing before the open coffin, inside are the countess ashes of his countess. Run through the torso of the ashes is the holy white gold sword. Marco knows only one man who had this sword and wished he killed him year's prier. But Marco had to leave to find the second quarter of Hekapoo clones he was after.
