They both couldn't believe what they were looking at. And quite frankly, they were struggling to comprehend just what in the hell just happened. When they had rushed to help the man, they certainly did not expect to see what they were seeing.

Her coworker stood up from his crouching position on the ground, taking care that he didn't get within arms reach of the man he just knocked out. He was shaking out his hand as if he had just injured it and they could tell that he was another level of pissed off.

"Fuck," The curse was almost snarled out as the teacher spat out a bloody glob of saliva onto the pavement. He thumbed away the trail of blood coming from the corner of his mouth with a snarl on his face," Son of a fucking bitch." The man looked down at his thumb, and they swore they could see his vein throbbing out of his forehead when he saw the blood on his finger," Where the hell is Aomine when you need him?" The ending question was muttered to himself, but the alleyway was so quiet, they were able to hear him perfectly.

Rika Tanaka was still struggling to comprehend just what she just saw.

When she was out with her husband, she was ready to go back home. She had a nice dinner with her husband, some drinks, and a nice dance where said husband whispered some things into her ear. So, she was more than excited to go back home and jump into bed with her beloved. So, she was more than surprised when she saw her coworker being pushed into the alleyway by a tall, intimidating man.

Her heart had leaped into her throat when she saw the trademark blue hair of her coworker moments before she saw an arm wrap around his neck. She would never forget the way his eyes bulged before he disappeared around the corner, his mouth opening in a shout that went unheard.

Her conscience had badgered her to go and help her coworker before something bad happened to him. Despite the fact that her husband was somewhat reluctant of getting involved in that potential danger, he agreed to help.

And imagine her surprise when they walked around the corner, only to see said coworker crouching with the stranger unconscious right in front of him. Without a second thought, her husband yanked her behind the corner, only allowing her to lean out just enough to see what was happening.

The stranger groaned as he started to regain consciousness. She almost felt bad for the way he was lying on the disgusting pavement of the city. But clearly, her coworker did not feel the same and without blinking an eye, Kuroko reared his leg back and knocked him out once again. He didn't even take the time to look away from his phone as he did that.

Hiro was just staring at his wife in surprise, surprised that she was working with such a violent man. Forget the fact that she thought the blue-haired man needed help, the fact that he was a teacher made him nervous.

"Oi, Aomine, get your ass over here." Rika did yet another double-take at the rough language that her coworker was using. With the look that he had on his face and the way that he was speaking, he was almost unrecognizable. If she had run into him in that state, she would have assumed that it was either a relative or one of those rare doppelgangers.

It was such a trip, to see the polite, and quiet Kuroko talking like he was some type of thug.

"I got some asshole who just tried mugging me…," They weren't able to hear the exact words that the other person on the line said. But they were able to hear the bass of man's voice coming out from the phone." Yeah, I knocked him out…No I didn't break anything," At that moment, Kuroko looked down and nudged the man with his foot. He made a face at the sound the man made, a low groaning sound that was full of pain.

She really didn't like the way he just shrugged off the reaction he got.

" Ok fine, I think I bruised his ribs. I dunno, he could just be a little bitch." They could hear a man yelling from the phone.

Even though they couldn't see his face, they had a rough idea of the face he was making," Oh shut it Aomine. It's not like I went, 'Ya know what? This is the day to get mugged and knock someone out.' I was just walking down the street and this asshat fuckin' grabbed me like I was sack of potatoes."

The sarcasm was strong in her coworker.

Again, they could hear the tone of a man's frustrated voice coming from the end of the other line.

"…Are you going to keep on bitching or are you going to come and arrest this asshole? Ire had called me to help him figure something out," The nickname certainly caught their attention, especially since it's such an odd nickname. But they quickly forgot once they heard the way Kuroko snapped into the phone," I don't fucking know! He asked me for help and I'm going to help him!"

It was obvious that the man was not in a stellar mood.

Hiro took that as the sign to drag his wife away and back onto the street.

It was obvious that his wife's coworker had ties to the police, and honestly, that did not sound good. Not to mention, if they were caught watching, they were going to have to admit that they were somewhat spying on the blue-haired man. And since that blue-haired man was his wife's coworker, that wasn't going to go well.

"You work with him?!" Hiro hissed as they blended back into the crowds, his hand wrapped firmly around his wife's forearm," What the hell does he teach!? Judo or some shit?!

Rika nearly stumbled through the crowd, resisting the urge to look over her shoulder," No!" Her voice was shrill from the shock of discovering just how violent one of her kindest coworkers could be," He's the Japanese teacher!"

"The Japanese teacher!" They were both panting as they slammed the car doors.

Hiro looked like he wanted to meet the Japanese teacher for himself. To make sure that his wife was safe working with him.

Rika looked like she was reconsidering her previous opinion of her coworker.

"I think I'm going to meet your coworker for myself honey…"

She wasn't even going to argue against that. She was seriously questioning her character judgment skills if she thought one of the kindest people, she knew would never be violent enough to knock someone out.

"You don't know what he drives?"

"No, he always gets here before I do and leaves before me."

"And you never thought to ask?"

"Nope." Hiro stared at Rika. His wife was kind but sometimes she needed to ask some more questions.

They were sitting in the car again, only this time, they were waiting for the Japanese teacher to come out," Wait wait!" Hiro pointed at a figure cladded in black who was walking out of the building. There was a hoodie covering his hair and most of his face. But the person dressed nothing like the polite (Or what she thought to be polite) School teacher wears for work," I think that's him! He looks like the right size."

Rika scoffed," That's not him, he doesn't wear clothes like that."

Hiro made a face as he pointed over her shoulder," That's not his everyday clothes," Now she was confused," That's his riding gear, look." At his words, she turned around, and her jaw dropped.

Wearing leather clothes, and with the hoodie resting on his back, went the Japanese teacher. Kuroko was pushing his motorcycle out of the little corner he had hidden it away in, his work bag strapped onto the back of the cycle, and a pair of helmets dangling from fingers by the straps.

"…what the fuck…?"

Her horror increased when she saw a student run up to him.

It was Akira. A first-year student.

Akira ran up to her coworker, a bright smile on his face that Kuroko easily returned. They couldn't hear what they were saying, since they were sealed away in their car. But they could infer based on the way Kuroko slapped the student's hands away from the handle cars, Akira wants to learn how to drive the motorcycle.

Well, it was a good sign that the teacher refused, and he even took the time to scold him to the point where the teenager slightly deflated. But that didn't last for long, as Kuroko opened his mouth to say something that made Akira perk up and grab onto the spare helmet excitedly.

It made them a little bit nervous and somewhat relieved when they say that Kuroko didn't let the student get on the back until Akira put on a jacket that looked like was higher quality than Kuroko's, and a helmet that looked just as protective.

But they could tell that Kuroko was taking all the precautions, taking the time to help Akira button up and zip up everything so it could be snug against his body. And then went on to tighten the strap of the helmet, pulling on the helmet to make sure there was not too much slack.

Rika had to admit that the sight of Kuroko petting a student with a helmet, only for said student to knock his hand away and make Kuroko laugh, made her feel a little bit relieved.

But she still didn't approve. At All.

"…Well at least he made the kid put on a helmet and jacket." The sound of an engine starting up filled the parking lot, and before long, the pair were leaving the school grounds.

"He's not even supposed to be giving students rides!" She snapped," Come on," She growled out as he pulled out of the parking lot.

"We're finding out where the hell he's taking him."

"Oh…" She pulled to a stop in front of the apartment building, looking between the back of the student that was retreating further into the building complex. And the back of her coworker, who waited for the student to enter the building before pulling off and doing a U-turn. She ducked her head as he went by, partially out of embarrassment and not wanting to be caught.

"Oh, he was giving him a ride home." Rika could hear the approving tone that was in her husband's voice. And she couldn't help but agree.

Akira lived in an apartment complex that was almost an hour away from their high school. It was certainly generous of her coworker to give the student a ride home every day after school. It would be better if he had a car to give the student a ride, but she was going to assume that Akira wasn't going to complain when he had a free ride.

Hiro looked between the apartment building and the way the Japanese teacher just left with uncertainty on his face. "Maybe he was just having a bad day yesterday?"

She pursed his lips.

Maybe he was having a bad day. And almost being mugged certainly wouldn't make it any better.

While personally, she wouldn't react like some type of hoodlum. She would probably be just as upset if she was having a bad day, only to get mugged.

"Ok. I guess he was. He's still not supposed to be giving students rides though."

Hiro huffed," Come on, the kid lives almost an hour away. He's helping the kid out."

She reluctantly accepted it. Huffing as her husband did, she agreed and did a U-turn to go back home.

As soon as he saw that they were gone, Akira poked his head out of the apartment building. Looking both ways, he confirmed that they were gone. With a wide smile, he lightly jogged down the street, his grin widening when Kuroko pulled up next to him. Pulling the helmet back over his head, he hopped back onto the bike.

"I'm surprised you noticed them man." Even though his mentor was wearing a mask, he could see the grin on his face.

Akira wiggled around on the bike, trying to find his center of balance before wrapping his arms around his mentor's waist. Giving a small nod, he signaled that he was ready to go. "They saw me knock out some guy yesterday after he tried mugging me," He pulled away from the curb, quickly accelerating as he drove back to the freeway to get to the fighting ring. There was a tag team match for Wrath and Black, so they wanted to get there with enough time to warm up and go over some strategies," I figured they would ask me some questions instead of following me though."

As always, the built-in speakers in the helmets made their communication go smoothly. He was able to hear Akira's chuckle loud and clear.

"What would you do if they ever found out? That that you fight in illegal matches."

"Oh, I would be fucked." The way he said that with no hesitation made him snort. Most people wouldn't risk their career like that but leave it to his mentor to not give a single shit.

"And what if they found out that you were training me?"

He almost groaned out his response, "Shit, "He thought that was an appropriate response.

Kuroko could get into deep shit for fighting at an illegal, unregulated, fighting ring. Where all weapons but guns were allowed. But if they were to find out that he was exposing a minor to that environment and training them for said environment. He would lose his job within seconds and would be publicly shamed for such an act," I would just go to America and never come back."

Akira pursed his lips. That was a weird response," Why America?"

Kuroko shrugged one shoulder as he exited the highway," I have a close friend who lives over there. I have enough money stashed away where I don't have to work for a while."

Akira whistled at that," Damn. You got this all planned out, don't you?"

His mentor chuckled at that and turned off the engine as they dismounted to walk into the warehouse. He spoke as he took off his helmet, running his hand through his light blue hair," Let's just say I like being prepared. "

He smiled at that and opened the door for his mentor to walk in, his grin was blinding as he asked," You ready."

Black grinned back at him.

"Do you even have to ask?"
