It was the 25 of December and it happened to be snowing much too sasuke's disappointment. He didn't like the snow. It reminds him of his family. They all used to play out in the snow. His family. That's what he thought about walking towards the training grounds three gift boxes in hand because Kakashi needed them to meet him there. If it was up to sasuke, he would stay home but his sensei said it was important.

He was near the training ground when he heard a soothing voice,

"Don't cry, snowman, not in front of me.Who'll catch your tears if you can't catch me, darling,If you can't catch me, darling,"

He got closer and continued to listen.

"Don't cry, snowman, don't leave me this way. A puddle of water can't hold me close, baby. Can't hold me close, baby,"

He looked at the figure singing and hanging of a branch on a tree.

Sakura.

"I want you to know that I'm never leaving, 'Cause I'm Mrs. Snow, 'til death we'll be freezing. Yeah, you are my home, my home for all seasons. So come on, let's go,"

Her voice was almost angelic to him. She was really good.

She turned to his direction and waved. "Merry Christmas! Sasuke-kun!" She yelled at him to which he nodded. "Do you know why Kaka-sensei wanted us today?" She asked jumping from the tree gracefully three boxes in hand. "No," he dimly responded.

She looked down sadly and started walking towards the middle of the training grounds and layed down. "Did you have anything planned today?" He asked her and layered down as well. "No," she responded quietly. "I would expect you to go home and spend today with your family." He said and she just looked down. "I can't." She responded once again. "Why?" He asked.

"Both my parents went on a week long mission... three months ago." She said no sign of emotion in her tone but you could see the tears she was holding back. He slightly gasped. "I'm pretty sure that they would send some type of word to the Hokage. They're probably on their way home right now." He responded. "Nope. The Hokage hasn't heard anything yet. I'm starting to think their dead." She said sadly. He turned his head towards her. "Please don't think like that." He asked to which she nodded.

Their conversation was interrupted by the most annoying voice ever. "Sakura-Chan! Sasuke-teme! Merry Christmas!" Yelled Naruto Uzumaki as he got closer to the duo. He was holding three boxes. "Hey Naruto," Sakura said sitting up Sasuke doing the same. "Dobe." Sasuke said standing up and then helping his pink haired teammate up as well. "What did you get me Sakura-Chan?" Naruto asked. "It's a surprise." She responded and Naruto deadpanned in reaction.

" Merry Christmas you three!" A voice is heard behind the genin. "Merry Christmas, Kakashi-sensei!" Sakura said fake smiling. The other two just nodded. "I can see you all excited about today but I must ask y'all to follow me. "Where are we going, Mr. Takashi-sensei? Naruto asked. "It's Kakashi, and drop the'Mr.'" Kakashi corrected. "You didn't answer all of his question." Sasuke says jumping in on the conversation. " That's for me to know and for you to find out." Kakashi says winking and contours to walk through the village with his three students.

The eldest of the four stops in front of a green apartment and walks up the steps and turns around. "Welcome to my humble home." Kakashi says towards the three genin. "You live here? You let potential threats see where you live but close friends can't see your face?" Sakura asks walking up the steps. "I'm glad you see me as a friend but If you were my friend you wouldn't be a potential threat." Kakashi says unlocking the door. " Ladies first?" Kakashi asks as Sakura walks into the home murmuring under her breath along the lines of 'Sexist bastards'. "Dobe, you go in aren't you a girl." Sasuke says smirking. "How but you go in teme?" Naruto asks moving out of the way so sasuke could go in. "GET IN THE GODDAMN HOUSE YOU ASSHOLES!" a voice shouts from inside and the two hightail into the home with their chuckling sensei behind them.

Sakura walked into the living room and sat my the fireplace that was present in the sitting room. The other two walk in and sit next to her and Kakashi goes up the stairs leaving the three children alone in the beautiful living room.

"For a lazy person, Kakashi-sensei has a clean house." Naruto says looking around. "It's obvious that he likes to keep personal aspects away from people who might judge so we have no room to talk about it." Sakura says looking away from the two other teammates. "Thank you for such consideration." Kakashi says walking around the couch boxes in hand and sitting on the floor with his genin students.

"Since I'm the sensei, I get to give you all my present." He says leaving a box in front of each of them. "Thank you Kakashi-sensei," Sakura says smiling lightly to which he just nods.

Naruto opened his present first and gave a giant grin. "I think I love you Kaka-sensei! Naruto says jumping up and hugging His sensei. Naruto was holding a card in his left hand as he hugged the copycat nin. "What did he get you, Dobe?" Sasuke asked. "Naruto turned and smiled. "My favorite sensei got me an unlimited ramen card for life at Ichiraku's!" Naruto exclaimed and Sakura smiled.

Sasuke was next. He started taking of the wrapper and smirked. A thick book of Lightning jutsus sat in front of him. "Thanks Sensei,"Sasuke thanked and Kakashi smiled at the small amount of appreciation.

Sakura was next. She opened up up her small box and found a mission request with the word 'approved' on it. On closer inspection she read the contents of the letter.

Kakashi,

I accept your request to take your genin team to find Sakura Haruno's parents. Dead or alive. You have two weeks at least to find some sort of information if not the search will discontinue and Harno will be put in an orphanage or put into custody of a foster family. Best of luck to you and your team. Mission starts January 1st.

Merry Christmas, Sarutobi Hokage

Sakura read the note over and over. The first thing she did was thankfully nag him not before jumping into Kakashi lap and throwing him over into his back. "Thank you so much sensei, this means the world to me!" She has tears in her eyes and a slight weight was lifted off her chest. "No problem Sakura, your family here in team 7."

She smiled and got up and gave a present to each of them. Naruto was quick to tear off the brown wrapping paper and simple brown string. Inside was a green scarf decorated with ramen noodles. "I finally have ramen merch! Thanks Sakura-Chan!" Naruto says embracing the pinkette.

Kakashi unwrapped his gift from her and smiled. Inside was a book titled, ' Why Its Okay or Not Okay to be Late' written by Sakura Haruno. "Wow this is nice Sakura how long did it take you to write this?" He asked and she smiled. " About a year and a half. Starting the day you were late for introductions."

Sasuke lifted up the heavy box given to him a and unwrapped his as well. Under the paper was a plain dark blue box with the Uchiha fan on it. He lifted the lid and smiled for the first time in a while. Inside were five kunai's decorated with blue leather and blue ribbon. At the base of the blade there was the Uchiha insignia engraved with the word 'chikara' which means 'power' In Japanese. "Thank you very much, Sakura," he said smiling at the blushing girl. "I had them custom made and you don't have to keep the ribbons she kinda forced me to-" she was cut off by the embrace from her stoic teammate. She hugged him back and smiled. They soon broke from their embrace blushing madly.

Naruto gave his presents to everyone. Sakura unwrapped hers and smiled. It was a bag full of medical herbs he obviously had help getting. "Thanks Naruto!" She said examining the fine plants. "Your welcome!" He says.

Sasuke opens his and smirks. it was a note "Look under your third floor board?" He read off and Sakura huffed. "I'm so jealous of your bromance with Naruto." She huffed and turned away from th black haired teammate. He scoffed and let out a soft chuckle. Kakashi opened his present and blushed. "Pervy Sage's new book. Enjoy it!" Naruto said looking away.

Sasuke stood and gave everyone a present from him. Kakashi opened his which consisted of a picture frame decorated plainly and inside it was the team photo. "Thanks sasuke, this is really nice given that I didn't get one." He said smiling.

Naruto practically screamed when he saw what was inside. Five rare ramen flavors. "Thanks Sasuke-teme!" He thanked.

When it got to Sakura's turn they found her not present in the room.

Sasuke listened really close and he could hear the voice from this morning.

"Let's go below zero and hide from the sun. I love you forever where we'll have some fun. Yes, let's hit the North Pole and live happily. Please don't cry no tears now, it's Christmas, baby,"

He remembered the song from his early childhood. She was singing the song his mother would sing around the holidays.

"My snowman and me, My snowman and me, Baby,"

He found her on the roof singing but she seemed to not notice him yet.

"Don't cry, snowman, don't you fear the sun, Who'll carry me without legs to run, honey, Without legs to run, honey,"

He made himself known when he lightly threw a snowball at her. She turned her head towards the Uchiha and wiped the snow off her nose. "You didn't open your present." He said sitting down on the ledge. "I just needed some air." She said scooting over to give him some space only to be pulled back.

"Here," he said giving her a small white box. She takes the lid off and smiles. There was a cherry blossom hair pin that she has been eyeing all day. "Thanks I love it." She said shutting the box. "I bet it would look a lot better if it was where it suppose to be." He said taking the box from her and the clip out. He moved a strand of hair from her face and smiled while putting the clip in. "Sasuke-Kun, now I have an even bigger forehead." She whined reaching to take the clip off but was stopped by a strong hand around her wrist. "I never noticed it so don't worry. He said and let go of her hand.

They sat there talking about everything, even the massacre. Until it started getting dark. Sakura got a handful of snow and made it into a ball and threw it and him. "Payback's a bitch, ain't it Sasuke-Kun?" She said running of the building. He chased after her and tackled her into the thick snow outside. He turned her over so she was facing up while he cradled her hips and pinned her arms abover her head and leaned down to her ear. "Yes, it is," he said into her ear and sprinkled snow on her.

She looked up at him smiling and he looked down at her face smiling. He got loser to her face and she closed her eyes he did as well both knowing where this was going. Their lips both met as a shooting star rocketed across the sky. They quickly parted and looked up at the sky. "Make a wish Sasuke-Kun," she told him and he closed his eyes. After 5 seconds he opened them and met her emerald eyes. "What did you wish for?" She asked. "If I told you then it wouldn't come true but what I wished for is for you to kiss me one more time." He said and she connected her lips with his. She parted from him and he pouted. "It's okay Sasuke-kun, I wished for the same thing." She said and he cupped her cheeks and hissed her with a little more force.

"I think we both deserve one more since we're dating or whatever." He said making the girl blush.

"Yeah, sure have at it."

They once again kiss and she disconnected their lips to sing one more line of the song

"My snowman and me,"
