Synopsis: So in this game, we somehow broke the world economy so bad that most countries couldn't build anything. This all happened over one simple ressource, iron….. He sold? Pump it!

Miho was scrolling through her production and research to see what she could progress down. Nina seemed puzzled at the situation that was going on.
"Did the economy just crash? I can't build a single factory…" Nina began as she wanted to determine what was going on.
"Yeah my economy crashed as well, someone is…" Bosphorus would respond as she didn't know what was going on with the economy. Miho decided to join the conversation as she wanted to point something out.
"I gotta point this out, I haven't been getting any steel over the past like ten years. I haven't been able to get steel." Miho told the others of what just happened as she wasn't getting any resources for her factories.
"Yeah, I don't understand." Bosphorus began. "I have enough iron to meet the demand for my steel mills but for some reason they're just not profitable like thank you."
A little later Nekota noticed something strange with China as she decided to let everyone in on this.
"Hold on. Hold on…" Nekota began as she was examining China. "American Qing Empire… What are you guys doing to the Qing?" Nekota asked as she wanted to see what was happening with China.
"Don't come over here." Kinuyo told Nekota to not come by her as she was just as confused as well. Miho decided to add in on this.
"By the way, we forced the Qing down to primitive again." Miho told the others about the status of the Qing. There was a nervous giggle before Azusa spoke next.
"God damn it." Azusa muttered.
More time would go by before there was an event that got their attention.
"Ohh shit, I have the first international!" Nekota told the others about what just happened. Bosphorus didn't like this at all.
"You still want to protect this communist? This fucking communist?!" Bosphorus asked as she was angry about it. Azusa was ready to show her some support.
"Take him down!" Azusa called out as she was ready to declare war on Nekota.
"He's a fucking Communist." Bosphorus called out as she wanted that person shot. Erika turned to Miho as she had an idea on how they could be able to take down the communist that was growing from the ground.
"Bo we got to stomp that bug while it's still small. HE'S COMMUNIST!" Erika asked Miho if she was willing to clamp down on communism or not. Marie decided to add to the conversation next as what she said had nothing to do with the topic at hand.
"Look in Metz, that's the real population there." Marie chimed in as she knew where all the work was going. Erika turned to focus on Marie next.
"Okay that's arguable, and if I can give you a single province of Metz I would, but I can't." Erika responded as she wasn't willing to give up Metz so easily. Marie wasn't phased by this.
"Just hand it over." Marie told Erika that she wanted this without any bloodshed.
"I can't." Erika told Marie that she wasn't willing to hand it over.
"Shut up Swimmy." Azusa told Marie to not speak.
"Just give it over. LMAO!" Aya began to giggle as Kinuyo was pressuring Erika next.
"Just hand it over!" Kinuyo told Erika to hand it over. Marie began speaking next.
"Dressel, I will crash your economy with no fucking survivors." Marie decided to threaten Erika's economy as Kinuyo began to laugh at herself. She was going to enjoy this a lot. Miho got a notice that said to feed her hungry soldiers but things were boiling over between Marie and Erika as Azusa joined in next.
"Is that a threat farce? I will fucking destroy this game's economy! If you dare try…" Azusa began to threaten as Marie threw her threats back.
"I will Bog his fucking economy." Marie responded as she was gearing for war.
"You're just going to bog the economy?" Kinuyo asked as she wanted to know if this was going to be true.
"Yeah I'm going to Bog." Marie answered Kinuyo's question. Miho was making peace terms with the Qing empire when Aya noticed something.
"What, He bought?" Aya asked as she began to laugh to herself.
A while later, Miho was at war with the Qing empire again and was fighting. She was looking at the map and noticed something she wasn't pleased with.
"Ohh, my god, that looks disgusting what I just did." Miho began. Naomi, Aya and Kinuyo were laughing at what Miho had just done as they were happy with what was going on.
"It's beautiful Bo!" Aya responded as she seemed happy by what was happening. Miho knew she needed to address the economic problem of why she wasn't getting any factories as she got another event.
"I don't understand what's going on with the steel right now? Like I literally don't understand." Miho began but she was ignored as more events were going down that everyone else had their attention on.
"They're in Romania!" Marie called out as Miho's political upper class was reshuffled.
"What are you talking about?" Erika asked as she wanted to see what Marie was trying to say.
"Austria is increasing its influence in Romania." Marie responded as Miho got the message of breaking up the Chinese Tea Monopoly.
"We're not sphering in Romania, that's not what we want to do." Erika told Erika to back off from her position as she wanted to see if they try doing something different.
"He's increasing it." Marie would respond that Azusa wanted influence in Romania. Erika knew she needed to be straight with Marie.
"That's not what we're doing, I don't know why you gotta make these assumptions…" Erika would begin. She would spend the next minute or so thinking about what she wanted to do next before she began speaking again. "You know what? Do I need to invade you again, Swimmy?"
"What because I oust you?" Marie asked, wondering why Erika was planning to invade her again.
"Shut up…" Those were the only words that came out of Erika's mouth. Azusa was starting to feel the pinch of the economic problem.
"I can't get any artillery, fuck me!" Azusa told them.
"I can't get any iron." Nekota spoke next as someone was going out of their way and buying all the iron.
"I can buy anything I need other than steel like..." Miho told them as she knew that there was a problem that was slowly getting bigger and bigger. Azusa knew that Marie had pulled the strings far enough and drastic action needed to take place.
"That's it Swimmy! I'm crashing your fucking market! You've done this! You've fucking done this!" Azusa shouted as she was ready to turn on Marie for making assumptions about Romania.
"Ayo hold up!" Erika began as she wanted to see if there was any peace between them.
More time would go by as Miho knew the situation was slowly growing more and more dire.
"I've been upgrading my ports for like 20 years and I've gotten 0 steel." Miho began as she knew that they weren't getting any resources. Miho began but everyone's attention was still on Marie.
"I don't understand how Swimmy has a higher military score than me?" Erika began as she was still confused by this.
"He's got a bigger military than you?" Miho would ask Erika if that was the case.
"No he doesn't. I have more divisions than him." Erika would respond to this as she was wondering if that was going to be the case.
"Look at the Prussian cries." Marie decided to tease Erika further as Erika began to think about what she wanted to do next.
"Okay, justifies to cut down to size." Erika muttered to herself as she wanted to see what she was going to be able to do.
"Come at me bro." Marie taunted Erika as she wanted war with her.
"On my way, I'll fucking send it Swimmy." Erika threatened Marie with war again as she was willing to do it again if she could do it once.
"Walk into my fucking machine guns." Marie taunted Erika about it again. They decided to ignore them and let the two of them bicker it out among themselves.
Later on in the game, Miho was talking to Naomi when she noticed something going on with the USA.
"What the fuck is this Jake?" Miho asked Naomi if she had an answer to why the USA had three colors on it.
"Well you know when I said I was pumping out a 3 way civil war?" Naomi asked as she was beginning to giggle again.
"It's a triple civil war!" Erika shouted as she was enjoying what America was turning into.
"Beautiful, that's fucking art work right there." Azusa told Naomi as she loved the border gore with what was going on.
Once the civil war was over. Miho was reading the results as she was surprised by this.
"The confederates are a satellite of the normal USA?" Miho would ask if this was going to be the case.
"I love this Jake, keep doing you." Kinuyo happily nodded as she loved what was happening to America at this point.
"This is some 6D chess you're playing right now." Miho told Naomi of what she was currently doing. Naomi was scratching behind her head as she was puzzled about this too.
"Yeah, I dunno how I did this…" Naomi began but she continued to speak after not coming to a definite conclusion. "Wait, hold on, I'm so confused, it flipped, I don't know how I did this. Hold on, hold on." Naomi told Miho as she was trying to find the cause for this civil war.
"Wait? Now the normal USA is satellite by the confederates?" Aya asked as she knew the map had flipped around. Miho knew this was a good time for a joke.
"Teleports behind you, slavery is now allowed." Miho decided to add to the chaos that happened to the USA. Due to the shenanigans that happened in America, Marie noticed something.
"Confederate states of the Qing empire." Marie began as that was what she found out before she busted out laughing. Aya was wheezing trying to contain her laughter. As a result, Aya began to cough as her wheezing was eating up the oxygen in her lungs.
"Please tell me it doesn't say that?" Miho asked as she got another upper house rearranged. She also got another notice regarding tea.
"It does, Confederate Qing empire." Aya told Miho as she was able to catch her breath.
"The Qing will rise again?" Miho asked Aya if this was going to be true. Marie just giggled as her response.
It was now 1874 as Miho got the notification about the Canadian Dominion. She began speaking again about the market crisis that was still happening.
"What is this reality?" Miho began. "Still not able to buy any steel. Makes me think." Miho would then check her exports to see what she was doing with her iron as she spotted that it was being all sold as export. "Why am I selling all of my iron? I'm meant to be using that in my own industries!" Miho came to realize that she had no iron to make any steel. Bosphorus decided to join in with her friend.
"I wanna know who's the one that's buying every single iron on the planet?" Bosphorus asked as she didn't like the fact that someone was deliberately going out of their way to crash the game's economy. "WHO IS IT?!" Bosphorus would scream trying to figure out who was trying to crash the economy.
"I can't get iron either." Miho responded as she didn't have much to make in terms of steel.
"Who's buying it?" Bosphorus asked as she wanted to do an investigation on who was buying up all of the iron. "Someone's deliberately buying all of the iron." Azusa's head turned to Marie as she knew she had someone to blame for this.
"I bet it's you Swimmy." Azusa would tell Marie that she was the one who was purchasing all of the iron. Naomi began giving some stats.
"The demand for iron is 5,000, the supply is only 900." Naomi told the others what the supply and demand was for the iron to be used in.
"Yeah someone's buying all of the iron." Miho replied as she got another event. It was a notification that someone was lagging behind.
"Someone is going out of their way to crash the economy." Bosphorus would tell the group as they didn't have a culprit as of yet. Azusa knew they had found a culprit, they were ready to point fingers at Marie.
"Swimmy, you better show us your trade tabs, Swimmy!" Azusa called out for Marie to open her trade tabs.
"What?" Marie asked as she was confused about what was going on. Azusa knew she needed to crack that nut open.
"Swimmy, show us your trade tab so we can see if you're the one buying all the iron." Azusa asked for Marie's trade tab so they could figure out if she was the one taking all of the iron.
"I've had three factories queued for 10 years now. And they've yet to get any iron." Bosphorus told the group as she got nothing to build her factories with.
"I can't even use my own iron." Miho began as she knew that if she used the iron for domestic purposes, it could relieve the situation at hand but that meant she would have nothing to export. "You know when it says, sold domestic, that means it's sold to my own country right? It says 0 sold domestically, 36 sold as export." Miho explained about what was happening with the current iron situation in her own country as of right now. This meant she was selling all of her iron, and the upper house of Miho's parliament was reshuffled.
"Epic meme." Azusa responded.
"Sold domestic, sold export. Why am I selling all of my iron?" Bosphorus asked. A rebellion was happening in one of Miho's allies.
"Yeah, it doesn't make any sense. The same thing is happening to me Golden." Miho told Bosphorus about what was going on.
"I'm telling you, someone's manually buying all of the iron." Kinuyo told them as she was facing a similar problem as well. Communist propaganda sprung up in Miho's country as it was slowly spreading.
"This is so epic having all of the economies of every single fucking great power be held hostage by someone who is either doing it deliberately or by accident because they are retarded." Bosphorus would begin as this was something that the economy of the world was getting strangled due to the lack of iron. "I've been encouraging craftsmen and it's been so long that I have 3 different fucking provinces with over 15k unemployed craftsmen. I just want to get them a job!" Bosphorus would continue her rant that she was unable to do anything. Aya noticed something odd and decided to bring it up.
"The confederates, why do they have so much prestige?" Aya asked as she was worried thinking they were the ones taking all of the iron. Naomi noticed this as well as she decided to see what was going on.
"Oh Jesus, what the fuck." Naomi nervously told them as she didn't know why they had so much either. Azusa was puzzled as well.
"Why are they number 1?" Azusa asked as Naomi and Aya laughed a bit as they noticed this as well.
"Southern pride." Erika guessed as she didn't have a clear answer for that question.
"Well I wish I was in the land of cotton." Azusa joked as she was singing badly. Miho continued to get events.
Later, Bosphorus was discussing why this crisis was man-made.
"Some things in the game make sense and why they are relatively difficult to acquire, but I don't understand why fucking iron is the most precious resource the world has ever seen." Bosphorus would tell them why it doesn't make sense for iron to be this scarce. Miho began speaking next.
"It's like the workers in the steel factories just showed up for work one morning and the boss just goes "Well the world's iron supply is gone guys, there's no more iron here."" Miho told the others as Aya began doing something good as she posted the crab rave picture.
"The world's iron supply is goooone!" Aya added in as Bosphorus continued the conversation.
"Better start using hopes and dreams to build skyscrapers." Bosphorus began as Aya was on her rave. Bosphorus would continue her talk about why this wasn't good. "Any other you know, oil, maybe machine parts, that would make sense but you're telling me in fucking 1876, number one commodity on the market is iron?" Bosphorus would ask as that would be okay before she continued speaking. "At this point I would think that Thanos would be a fucking really interesting villain in this time period. Like every time he gets a gem it's a different type of iron he puts into the fucking glove."
More time would go by as Miho knew the situation was slightly improving but just slightly.
"I went from 35 iron to 40. I'm producing 40 iron and it is still all being sold as an export." Miho told them the kind of bad news that they were making more iron but it was still being sold as an export. Bosphorus smiled as she began talking next.
"Nice, so your country recognizes that it has an iron problem, so it makes more and decided to sell it… Let's get this bread." Bosphorus would tell them about what was happening.
"I don't understand what's wrong with the game now?" Miho sighed as she knew that there wasn't anything she could do to save the game.
"Just for the record, iron is not only more expensive than tea and coffee, but it's on track to becoming worth more than steel." Bosphorus began before she broke down. "I JUST WANT TO BUILD A FACTORY! It's now been officially 14 years since I've yet to get or build 1 iron Drake."
"It doesn't matter." Kinuyo responded as Bosphorus was ready to take her anger out on Kinuyo. Kinuyo would repeat as Bosphorus began her rant.
"Just 1, JUST 1, 1 gram. I WILL TAKE A GRAM OF IRON AT THIS FUCKING POINT! PLEASE!" Bosphorus begged as she screamed into her microphone that she had nothing to build.
"No, because if someone wanted it…" Kinuyo responded as she wasn't willing to give up her iron supply.
"That's 20% of the game that we haven't been able to get iron Greg. That's 20% of the game!" Miho muttered as she wanted the iron resource so they could be able to build their economy.
More time would drag on as the entire economy was becoming more and more paralyzed.
"Heeeelp me." Miho called out as she had been paralyzed without any iron being fed into her country's system.
"Listen I don't know about you guys but Africa is mine now. I need the iron in this place, the shit's mine now." Bosphorus began as she wanted Africa in the hope that she was going to be able to find some iron.
"Help me, Golden." Miho cried out as she was being paralyzed by the lack of iron.
"I need iron, South African diamonds aren't worth shit, I need iron!" Bosphorus called out that she wanted every last gram of iron. Miho then noticed something about Denmark.
"Wait, why does Denmark own Djibouti?" Miho asked before she laughed, it was at least a temporary solution to the iron crisis that was happening.
"Wait? Does it?" Aya asked as she noticed this as well.
Later, Kinuyo was taking a look at the supply and the demand as she began speaking.
"Supply is 1,106, the demand is like 5k. Why?" Kinuyo asked as Miho was taking care of some business.
"Swimmy and Dressel could you get….?" Miho asked before Erika cuts her off as she began to shout.
"No, the iron is mine!" Erika shouted as she wasn't willing to share. Miho had an alternate solution.
"No Swimmy and Dressel but can you start getting your fucking industrial tech up in metallurgy?" Miho asked if that was going to be the case for them so they could start making steel.
"No." Erika responded. Bosphorus began to clap her hands as she had the news of what was happening.
"Ohh, iron is worth more than steel! Let's get in on this bread!" Bosphorus began as she began to think of something. She now had an idea. "Ohh wait, I know something that we can do guys!" Bosphorus shouted as she had the perfect idea. "Everyone go to the trade menu, tell me when everyone is there, go to where the stockpile is. You see that button, it says allow pop/factories to buy directly from the stockpile. Everyone press it at the same time! We're going to restart this shit from the start!" Bosphorus told everyone that they were going to buy from the stockpiles. Everyone did so as they all did what she told them.
"Deadass I'm ready." Azusa responded as she was ready.
"Alright Golden, 3… 2… 1." Miho responded. Everyone pushed the button all at the same time as they were going to have all of their iron used up finally. Marie then had the news.
"Guess what guys, I just got an event and 4 of my largest provinces just changed to iron." Marie would tell them as they had just finished their conversion where all of the iron was going to be used. Bosphorus screamed with excitement as this was truly something spectacular.
"Swimmy the supply is rising, the supply went up by 1k. The supply is rising!" Miho told Marie that the iron shortage was now over.
"We're fixing this! No iron war, no war over iron now!" Azusa began. "Oh god the demand is over 8k!"
"JESUS CHRIST! HELP ME!" Bosphorus screamed as this was truly a great moment for them. Miho was just crying happily as the crisis was now over. "I want to slit my wrists!"
"How are we going to have an Iron Man if there is no iron?" Miho asked as she came to realize about the iron.
"Shut up Bo." Marie responded as she, Kinuyo and Aya laughed as they found this hilarious.
"We'll be stuck with Black panther now." Miho sighed as she knew that they needed something for all of this iron but what did it cost? Everything.
Later on, Kinuyo began speaking about leaving the game.
"I wanna get off Paradox's wild ride." Kinuyo began as she didn't know how she was going to be able to hold herself together. Miho was still crying yet laughing at the same time. Aya was laughing at the same time.
"Swimmy, he sold?" Aya asked if this was true. Kinuyo was also laughing as Bosphorus began speaking again.
"Kill meeeee, I just want iron." Bosphorus groaned as she wanted iron for her country. They were now looking down in Africa as Miho and Kinuyo began speaking.
"Swimmy Please." They would both say at the same time. Marie then began to think.
"Hmm, maybe I should upgrade my entire country's forts instead." Marie began. Bosphorus began laughing before she knew the situation could be dire.
"NOOOOOOOO!" Bosphorus cried as she could have used that iron.
"Demand shoots up to 50k iron." Azusa called out on how high the demand was going to become. Bosphorus knew something else didn't make sense.
"How are we getting more iron yet the price keeps going up?! What the fuck! THE PRICE KEEPS GOING UP!" Azusa laughed as Marie knew she wanted to make the situation worse.
"Bump it." Marie suggested that the price going through the roof.
"Fuck you Swimmy!" Bosphorus called out to Marie. "Fuck you!"
"Bump it!" Marie suggested. Before Bosphorus could release any more rage on Marie, she realized something.
"Wait a minute, I just thought of something." Bosphorus began as she wanted Marie's reaction. "Hold on. What did you use to build that Eiffel Tower Swimmy?" Bosphorus asked what Marie used to build the symbol of Paris. Miho was ready to go to war to dismantle such symbol
"Smelt it Swimmy! Smelt it!" Miho encouraged her as Azusa joined in.
"Swimmy, tear that shit down! Get every piece of iron you could find." Azusa told Marie to tear the Eiffel Tower down for resources. Bosphorus began to speak next as she had a theory on how all of that iron went missing.
"We're going to find a secret bunker, with thousands of bars of iron somewhere." Bosphorus predicted where all of that iron went.
"He sold." Kinuyo added in as Marie was just about ready to give up.
"He sold? Bump it!" Marie told Kinuyo as everyone bursted out laughing again. Azusa decided to direct everyone's attention.
"Look at the demand for iron." Azusa began.
"What is it now?" Bosphorus asked as she wondered what the demand was.
"Sixteen thousand!" Azusa shouted what the demand for iron was. Kinuyo and Miho laughed at the same time.
"What's happening?!" Miho asked as she was worried about what was happening. At this point Miho didn't care much any more. "I'm gonna kill every single one of you bitchasses." Miho began to threaten before she was taken off guard. "Ohh my god, look at the price. It's just…" Miho didn't know what to comprehend as Bosphorus did the calculations.
"It's at 11!? What?!" Bosphorus told Miho that the price of Iron dropped suddenly like it crashed. Miho decided to find a new opportunity.
"Look at the steel price! There is a demand for 61k steel!" Miho told Bosphorus about what was happening.
"There is a demand for 60k steel!" Aya called out. Bosphorus decided to take one last look as some things were going to stay the same.
"Top 3 exported goods, iron… WHY!" Bosphorus shouted as she was wondering why Iron was still being exported. Marie and Nekota laughed as Bosphorus continued her screaming, thinking they got the last laugh of the game.
[A/N]: This is the first GuP fanfic that I have written where they play Victoria 2. I decided to switch things up as the next one would hopefully be more HOI4 in the upcoming future, if there are any scenarios I should do, let me know as this is supposed to be a side show.
