Hello everyone! So yeah, I wasn't planning on releasing this story this soon, but my artist delivered really quickly, so I figured why not? Now before we get started, I would like to say that even though this is a Next Generation fic, Natu's generation will still be very prominent here. Not sure if people will like that part about it or not, but just wanted to let everyone know. There will also be a lot of family moments. Not every character had a kid by the way, there are only seven of them (I didn't do that on purpose, I promise lol). I don't diverge from the relationships that were established in canon, so if you're a fan of say Gruvia, Jerza, or Elfever, you're in luck. :P

This arc takes place several years after the end of the series obviously. That being said, I don't plan on using any content from 100 Year Quest, so yeah. Also, if you're one of my NaWen readers and aren't really a fan of these types of stories, not to worry. I still have NaWen exclusive works that I plan to release soon as well. Anyway, that's all. Hope you all enjoy!

Flames sizzled around Natsu's arms and fists. The cheering of the crowd got his blood pumping. Yeah, he was really getting into it now. Being in this now all too familiar stadium was like paradise to him. He looked over at the tall dark haired man and short white-haired woman before him. Some embers seeped out of his mouth as he stared them down. "I'm all fired up now."

"Careful Yukino," Rogue said, bending his knees. "He's getting serious."

Yukino nodded, "Right, I'll do my best."

"You ready, Wendy?" Natsu asked, looking down at his small blue-haired wife.

Wendy held her arms up high, raring to go ."You bet I am!"

"Right, then let's do it!"

And at that, the two dragon slayers rushed forward. Natsu swung his fist at Rogue. He managed to just barely swerve his head out of the way of Natsu's fiery onslaught. But then, a sharp kick to the face sent him sliding across the arena.

"Oh no, Rogue!" Yukino cried out.

"Sky Dragon Wing Attack!"

Billows of wind in the shape of wings slammed into Yukino as she was blown through the air.

Shadow Dragon Slash!" Rogue called out from behind Wendy, his hand framed with dark matter.

"Sky Dragon Crushing Fang!" Air surrounded Wendy's hand as she countered Rogue's attack.

Wind and dark energy spewed throughout the arena as the dragon slayers tried to overpower the other.

"Gate of the two fish; Pisces!" Yukino turned a golden key as if unlocking something and two giant fish suddenly appeared floating through the air.

Up in the crowd, Happy had started drooling, staring at the fish. "Yummy…"

"Really, fur ball?" Gajeel scoffed while crossing his arms. "You haven't changed at all. "Even though you're a father now." He looked around the stands, then raised his eyebrows. "Huh? Where is the little guy anyway?"

"He's with Aki," Carla informed Gajeel as Happy was still busy drooling over Pisces.

"Ah, guess that makes sense."

A small girl with long salmon pink hair that reached down t her waist was leaning on the edge of the railings, watching the fight, her big brown eyes sparkling with excitement. "You can do it Mommy and Daddy! I know you can!"

"Aye aye!" A little white cat with blue spots hopped around on the girl's shoulder.

"You hear that, Wendy?" Natsu grinned as he wiped some specks of dirt of his upper lip. "Our girl is cheering for us. Now we have no choice but to win."

Wendy nodded, "You're right."

In accordance with that, Wendy's hair and eyes began to turn pink, wings sprouting out from her wrists, ankles, and back.

Lightning and fire coated Natsu's entire body as he shouted out, "Lightning Flame Dragon Mode!"

"Shit," Rogue cursed under his breath. Black scale-like markings began to form around his body and frame his face. "Yukino, watch out."

"You don't have to worry about me," the celestial wizard assured her guild mate as she took out another key. "Gate of the heavenly scales; Libra!"

Libra appeared out of thin air, tilting two scales in her hands. "Do you need me to tip the scales in your favor?"

"That'd be a great help, yes."

"Very well then."

She tilted one of her scales down and suddenly a massive pressure was holding Natsu and Wendy down.

"Nice work you two," Rogue complimented Yukino and Libra before he sunk into his own shadow. It raced towards the dragon slayer duo at an insane speed.

Then just as he popped out of the ground, Natsu and Wendy smiled at each other.

"Fire Dragon…"

"Sky Dragon…"

"Roar!" They both let out a massive roar, their fire and wind mixing together as they did so.

The unison raid trapped Rogue inside of it as he was sent spiraling into the wall. Then, Natsu placed both his hands on the ground as it slowly began to melt. "You ain't holding me down any more!"

An eruption of fire formed under Libra's feet sending the spirit soaring into the sky."

"Libra no!" Yukino shouted out.

Pisces swooped down from above Natsu, but he blocked the attack with his forearms. The two fist manage to push him back a bit as his feet dug into the ground.

Wendy flew up into the sky and delivered a rapid series of kicks to the fish. "Sky Dragon Wave Wind!" A huge tornado struck the fish and they both came plummeting down.

"Way to go, Wendy!" Natsu applauded her as his arms blazed up, sparks of lightning crackling around them. "Fire Dragon Firing Hammer!" He swung his fist at the fish, releasing all of that magic power at once. An explosion of fire and lighting overtook the entire Domus Flau.

Smoke soon came in its place as the two fish lied unconscious on the floor. "Pisces," Yukino said somberly as she looked down at her celestial spirit. "It's okay, you tried your best." She turned to Natsu and Wendy, readying her fists. "Guess, I'll just have to try this."

"Shadow Dragon: Waxwing Flash!"

A torrent of shadows suddenly assaulted both Natsu and Wendy. The shadows then took on the shape of Rogue as he became solid again. "Thought I was done, did you? Hate to disappoint you, but I won't be going down that easily.

Natsu smirked at his fellow dragon slayer. "Wouldn't be any fun if you did."

Yukino ran towards Wendy, swinging her fist, but all she caught was air. Wendy reappeared, behind her, slamming her foot into her head. Yukino tumbled across the floor, but managed to recover.

Wendy disappeared in an instant and then swung her fist at Yukino as she crashed into the stadium wall. She slid down the wall and let her eyes shut as her head fell limp.

"Now, it's just you, Rogue," Natsu said as he turned to the shadow dragon. "Get ready, pal."

Wendy walked up next to Natsu and they both bent their knees and spread out their arms. "Dragon Slayer Secret Art," they both said in unison.

"Exploding Louts: Lightning Flame Blade!"

"Shattering Light: Sky Drill!"

"Crap, this isn't good," Rogue realized as he was now entrapped in a vortex of wind, lightning and fire. All of the elements compounded onto him, sending him falling to the ground unconscious.

"And there you have it folks," Jason announced with a scream that sent all the birds in the area flocking away in terror. "The winner of the X802 Grand Magic Games is Fairy Tail once again! So COOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!"

Natsu threw his arms up in glory. "AW YEAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!"

"Yay, we did it!" Wendy clasped her hands together, while smiling brightly.

Up in the stands, Sting's let his head smash into the railing a couple of times. "Every freakin' time! Damn it!" Then, he made a conceding smile as he watched Queen Hisui hand Natsu the trophy. "Aw well, what're you gonna do? Good job, guys." He started clapping along with the rest of the audience.

Aki clapped her hands and cheered as loudly as possible. "Way to go Mommy and Daddy! I knew you could do!" Then, the child leaped off of the bars before she was caught by Happy's son, wings sprouting out of his back. "Thanks, Cammy."

Cammy winked at Aki. "Just make sure to pay me back with some smoked salmon."

"Might wanna ask Daddy for that one," Aki said with a bitter smile.

"Still having trouble with fire dragon slayer magic, huh?"

Aki decided not to answer that. She felt that the answer was obvious anyway. Cammy slowly drifted to the ground and let go of Aki. "Hey!" Aki waved over to her parents while running up to them. "I came down to say hi!"

"Yeah, we saw…" Wendy said with a worried voice. "Listen, sweetie. You really shouldn't be jumping off of high places like that. It's dangerous."

"How?" Natsu cocked an eyebrow in confusion. "She has Cammy."

"Natsu!"

"What?"

Erza just shook her head and let out a light sigh. She made a kind smile as she walked up to Aki. "Hello there, Aki. You've grown since the last time I saw you."

"You saw me last month, Auntie Erza. And I haven't grown at all…" Aki lowered her head down, a bit saddened by this fact.

Natsu rested his arms behind his head. "Eh, don't sweat it, little one. Your mother hasn't grown at all in the past nine years."

"Natsu!" Wendy shouted out at her husband, her face flushed pink. "Why'd you have to bring that up?" She asked, pursing her lips.

"Relax, that's what makes you so beautiful," the pink-haired man said, a cheeky grin on his face.

Wendy's mouth dropped slightly, but then she held her arms behind her back ad gazed at Natsu adoringly. "Oh, Natsu."

"Save it for the bedroom you two," Gray remarked while walking over to Aki himself. "We have a kid with us right now after all."

"Yeah, then maybe you should put on some clothes," Lucy scoffed at the half-naked ice wizard.

"Ah crap! When did that happen?!"

"Even as a father, you still love to strip, huh pervy popsicle?"

Gray grabbed onto Natsu's black and tattered cloak as he glared at him. "What'd you call me, ya flame for brains?!"

"You heard me ice cube man!"

"Lava breath!"

"Snowman!"

Erza slapped her face as she groaned at the occurrence taking place before her. "Honestly, even after so many years, these two fools still never learn."

"They're even still using the same nicknames too…" Lucy noted, sweat dropping from the back of her head.

"Um Daddy? Uncle Gray?" Aki looked in between the two adults, still in the midst of trading insults with each other.

"Dragon breath!"

"Strips in the cold!"

"Eats fire for breakfast!"

"Eats ice cream for dinner!"

"Step aside," Erza said as she walked past Aki. "I'll handle this." The redheaded woman suddenly loomed over the two, her eyes glowing red. "Boys…"

Natsu and Gray both froze in their tracks as they noticed Erza's overwhelming presence. "Oh, uh hey there Erza…" Gray said, trembling uncontrollably.

Natsu shaking in much the same vein rose his hand up to give her a friendly wave. "Yeah, hey Erza!"

Erza simply cracked her knuckles as she continued to glare down at the two. "Get ready."

Everything went quiet for a moment. Then, high-pitched screams filled the entirety of Domus Flau and reached all the way up into the sky.

Fairy Tail celebrated their victory at the Grand Magic Games yet for the rest of the day by having a party. They had a large banquet, filled with fun, laughs, booze, and lots of unnecessarily brawling. Eventually, those who hadn't passed out at the guild hall returned home and the next day arrived.

Aki rubbed the sleep out of her eyes and let out a long yawn. She looked out her window at the glistening sunrise. The birds chirped a soothing elegant tune as she slowly got out of bed. Her room was downed in pink paint and stuffed animals. On her desk were a couple of pictures of her with Natsu and Wendy that they had taken throughout her childhood.

A wide grin smeared across her face as she moved her disheveled hair back into place. She hummed in delight as she picked out her favorite outfit from her closet, a yellow dress with black stripes stripes. She threw on the dress along with some golden wing-shaped armbands.

She hurried out of her room and down the hallway, bouncing with a spring in her step. Once she made it to the kitchen, a satisfied smile formed on her face. Balloons decorated the room and presents adorned the table. A white banner hung down from the ceiling and read Happy Birthday Aki.

Natsu and Wendy walked up to her as she brimmed with excitement. Wendy smiled warmly as she hugged her daughter. "Happy birthday, sweetie."

Natsu grinned as he ruffled his girl's hair around. "Yeah, happy birthday little princess."

Aki winced a little as Natsu continued to mess up her hair. "Stop it, Daddy! I just fixed that!"

"Oh, my bad," Natsu said with a slight chuckle as he lifted his hand off of Aki's head.

"Geez," Aki moaned as she touched up her hair once again.

"Why are you so worried about your hair anyway?" Natsu asked, holding his chin in thought. Then, a mischievous grin sprawled across his features. "Is it because Gold is coming over, maybe?"

Aki's face went up in flames as she stumbled backwards. "W-what?! No, of course not! What are you even talking about?!"

"Oh nothing, really." Natsu rested his arms behind his back and turned around. "Just wondering if my girl had a little crush is all."

"Well I don't! I always care about my hair!"

"I know. Don't worry, kiddo. I'm just messing with you." The fire dragon slayer gave his daughter a little wink and stuck out his tongue.

Aki's shoulders slumped down as she let out an exhausted sigh. "You're really immature sometimes, Daddy…" Aki then thought about something else. "Is Auntie Erza and everyone else coming too?"

Natsu and Wendy both looked at each other, worried expressions painted on their faces. Natsu then decided to take it upon himself to be the bearer of bad news. "Well, Erza has a meeting with the Magic Council today, and Gajeel and Lucy both went on missions with their families. So it'll just be the six of us. Sorry, Aki."

Aki's gaze lowered to the floor a little bit. She was really hoping that more people would show up to her birthday party since that meant more presents. Seriously, what kind of meeting or mission could be more important than her own birthday? She just didn't get it…It didn't make any sense whatsoever.

"It's okay, Daddy," She said, looking back up at her father, feigning a smile.

The high-pitched ring of the door bell alerted the family of three. Wendy turned her head to the door. "Oh, that must be Gray and Juvia. I'll go let them in." She walked over to the door and soon returned with the Fullbuster family at her side.

Juvia smiled kindly at Aki. "Hello there, Aki. Happy birthday."
