Heyo. This is my first time writing a fanfiction so don't bash me. I've had this idea in my head for a while now I just didn't know how to put it on paper, but I finally figured it out. Hope you enjoy it!

"Well that's another long mission done,I have to go report the mission to the Hokage. Bye!" Kakashi says as Team 7 arrives back in Konoha.
No one hears this though since Sakura is pestering Sasuke for a date and Naruto is behind all of them.
On the way back to the village Naruto asked Sakura to go on a date with him yet again but like every time,she denied it. But everyone thought that Naruto would bounce back from this denial like he always does, but he didn't.
This time was different this time instead of just flat out denying him Sakura did more. When he asked her in a date she said "No" out loud, but then she went close to Naruto and whispered in his ear "I will never go on a date with a worthless piece of shit ninja like you, you're ugly short and stupid. Unlike Sasuke-kun". And with that she walked away.
Naruto heard that and found it true. During the bell test he did absolutely nothing right and during the wave mission he almost let Sasuke die. He shouldn't even be a ninja. He just happened to master a jutsu. That's all it was. He does nothing right. He should just quit being a ninja. Or should he just become better?
That question pondered Naruto's mind up until they got back to the village. He heard his senses say something about the mission and going to the Hokage's office to report the mission and he poofed away. He heard his teammate annoying his other one and them walking away somewhere. He was left alone. At the gates by himself. And to make matters worse, it just started pouring rain, out of nowhere.
"This sucks" Naruto said as he started making his way to his apartment.
When he arrives there he walks up the shaky stairs and arrives at his door, which happened to be smashed through. He walks into his apartment to see everything destroyed. He walks into his room and sees all his favorite orange jumpsuits in a pile and his mattress ripped apart. He sees the photo of him, Iruka and the Hokage broken. "Why?" he asked.
He walked back out of his apartment, back down the shaky stairs and made his way to the Hokage's office. While walking there he looked at people and saw devilish smiles on their faces. "And they call me a demon" he said to himself. But he continues to walk.
When he gets to the Hokage's office he walks past the secretary who keeps shouting at him to leave and he just walks into the actual office.
"My apartment got trashed, clothes burned and all that goodness" Naruto said interrupting the Hokage's meeting with Kakashi.
"Naruto I am in the middle of something, and there's nothing I can do for you. The council has found out that I was giving you funds. I'm sorry." the Hokage said to the blonde. "But here's your payment for a A rank mission, maybe this'll help you out even a little bit".
Naruto took the money and started to walk towards the door but Kakashi spoke up. "The jonin have to go on a mission for the daimyo, we will be gone for about 6 months. Train because once we get back, it will be time for the chuunin exams, and I am going to enter you guys into it. And remember, I believe in you".
Naruto took this information and left. He finally had an answer to his question. He's gonna become better.
