Erin was surrounded by papers and highlighters as her homework was keeping her busy. Brennan had returned from scoping out the victims home and was working on the remains on the forensic platform. Erin looked at her calculus assignment she had just completed and went to pick up her cup of coffee. To be disappointed by the empty cup. She stood up to head to the kitchen for another round of coffee. As she walked by the platform Hodgins spotted her and said, "Digging the uniform!" He finished with a chuckle because he knew how much she disliked it. Erin chuckled, "Oh, shut it, Hodgins!" she yelled back. Brennan chuckled at the exchange without taking her focus off of the remains. Vincent's focus trailed off the remains and up to the exchange between Hodgins and Erin. That's when he saw her, the girl he met at Oxford, he squinted his eyes and spoke, "Erin?" he said loudly. Brennan placed her focus on her intern and Erin turned around at the sound of her name. She stared at Vincent and walked closer, "Vincent?!" she asked. The old friends approached each other and hugged hello. "Um, you two know each other?" Hodgins asked, which was quickly followed by Brennan, "Mr. Nigel Murray, how do you know my daughter?" she asked.

Erin laughed at Vincent's awkward facial expression. He didn't know his new friend was the daughter of his idol, his superior. Erin spoke up to relieve some of the anxiety Vincent was feeling. "I met Vincent at Oxford! You and Booth were solving a muder. He was the tour guide I was telling you about." she responded. "I truly didn't know she was your daughter, . She does not have your last name. But, yes we met while I was visiting Oxford." Vincent responded. Erin didn't want to keep the team from working any longer, "I can catch up with you later, Vincent. I still have homework to do. Happy Solving!" she said as she left the platform. Vincent waved goodbye and began to put on a new pair of gloves. He felt Dr. Brennan's eyes on him as he was about to continue to examine the remains. Dr. Brennan took her gloves off and spoke, "I'd like to remind you Murray, that my daughter is only 15. It appears as though you and my daughter have formed a friendship, is my assumption correct?" she was staring directly at Vincent. She was no longer focusing on the remains. Vincent cleared his throat, "Yes, Dr. Brennan. Just..platonic. I assure you." he said. Dr. Brennan nodded, "Alright. I need the injuries cataloged by the end of the day." she said and walked away.

Brennan approached her office to see Erin and Booth discussing the Flyers latest roster for the season. She was very curious as to why Erin did not disclose her on-going friendship with Vincent. "Erin, why didn't you tell me you were friends with Vincent Nigel Murray? That you remained in contact with him after our trip to London. Did you know he applied for this position?" she asked, crossing her arms while leaning against her desk. Booth was surprised, "You know the English squint?" he asked Erin. Erin was taken back from the sudden interest, "I didn't plan on keeping in contact with him after leaving London. For multiple reasons, he is older than me and he mentioned he was incredibly busy applying for internships but he never revealed what he was studying. I don't know that much about him. He didn't even know you were my mother or how old I was. He just assumed I was his age because we met at Oxford. It just wasn't significant at the time?" She ended her statement as a question, to gauge her mother's feelings on the matter. Brennan sat down next to Booth, "I understand. But, I just need you to be cautious when meeting strangers." she said and Booth soon chimed in, "I agree with your mom on this one AirBear. With your mother being in the public eye, there could be some pretty messed up people out there wanting her attention." he said while exchanging glances between the mother and daughter. Erin nodded and understood where her mother's uneasiness was stemming from. "Yes, I understand. But, I think from your time with him, you can see he's harmless." she said and laughed. Booth chuckled, "Definitely harmless, Bones. I'd break him like a twig." he said as he playfully patted Brennan's knee. Brennan rolled her eyes at her partner and Erin was focused on the sight of Booth patting her mom's lap and she smiled. The moment was soon interrupted by a knock on Brennan's door, Erin looked up, "Hey, Michelle!" she greeted her as she stood up. Both Brennan and Booth also said hello to her as well. "I wanted to ask you if you wanted to come over to Amanda's." Michelle asked Erin as she dangled her keys. "It''ll just be for a few hours, we were thinking of getting dinner and finishing up the calc homework." she continued and Erin smiled and turned around to face her mother. "Mom? Can I go?!" she asked with a little hop to her step. Brennan looked at the clock on her wall and the bright smile on her daughter's face. "Yes, you may go. Please be back by 10. It is a school night." she responded. Erin jumped, "Yes! Thanks, mom!" she said as she hugged her and began to pack up her things. "See you guys later! Love you!" she yelled as she walked out the office with Michelle. Booth and Brennan yelled back, "Love you too!" in unison. Brennan chuckled and soon began to blush. Booth broke the silence, "Um, do you know Amanda's last name? Got to make sure….you know, Erin is with the right people." he asked. Then Brennan began to laugh, "No, I do not know her last name. We haven't been able to discuss her new friends, but when I find out I will be more than happy to pass that information along to you. I;m assuming they're good girls considering they're friends with Michelle." she replied. Booth nodded, "Do you want to get dinner later?" he asked. Brennan stood up and began to head towards her desk, "Sure. I was planning on making my Mac and Cheese for Erin. But, I can make it for you. She can try it later. I'm sure she won't mind." she said happily. Booth flashed his toothy grin, "Oh! She's missing a good one! I'll bring the beer!" he said. Brennan sat down at her desk and looked Booth in the eye. "Wine, bring the wine." she said while blushing. Booth nodded and began to head to the door, "See you later, Bones." he said softly. Brennan continued to look through her files and she began to wonder, was this a date? They've had dinner together before. Was she ready for the night?
