Erin was in class, thinking about her mother's comment, she was almost 16 and hadn't been kissed. She was surrounded by sex obsessed teenagers, and she didn't even know if she liked boys. Was she good at flirting? Yes. She learned it by watching TV and movies. Erin could learn and solve anything, but she couldn't solve the problem of her own sexual orientation. Erin was deep in thought and was interrupted by her English teacher placing their assignment on her desk. "This paper will be the first major paper you will write for this class. 1 out of 7. I will be lenient on the grading of this first paper. So, you all can catch a glimpse of what's to come. I want 7 pages of how you perceive yourself, how you think others perceive you, etc." Mrs. Richardson stated. Erin sighed heavily, 'how fitting?' she thought. "Think about this. Truly. Also, no one else will read these, but me." her teacher said once more. The bell rang and Erin began to pack up her things. She walked towards her locker and bumped into a guy, "Sorry. I forgot how to see and walk." Erin uttered as she started putting her combination in her locker. "No worries, I remain unphased." the boy said, "You're the new girl, right? I'm Pax." he said. Erin finally made eye contact with the boy, "Yeah, I'm Erin. Nice to meet you Pax." she said while switching the books in her bag. Pax leaned onto the lockers, "What grade are you in? I'm a Junior. By any chance are you good at math?" he asked her with a raised eyebrow. Erin laughed, "I am. Let me guess, Amanda told you?" she asked. Pax laughed and placed his hands in his pockets, "Yeah, she said she aced the pop quiz given in calc. If I don't pass Pre-Calc, I won't be able to play." he said earnestly. Erin smiled, giving an understanding nod, "Ah, I get you. What do you play?" she asked, leaning on the lockers as well. Pax stood straight, "Volleyball. Can I get your number? To set a schedule, or something?" he asked. Erin smiled, "Nice, I'm trying out for the girls season. I played in Chicago. Yeah, you can have my number." she said. Pax smiled and took his phone out and began to type in Erin's number.

Booth and Brennan were at the dinner eating lunch. The tension between them could have been cut with a knife. Brennan spoke first, "I truly enjoyed our kiss last night. It surely beat the first one we had." she said as she placed her drink down. She attempted to hide her smile. Booth chuckled as they both recalled their first kiss in front of the bar. "I agree, Bones. I enjoyed our kiss too. I'd like very much to repeat that, soon. But first…I'd like to take you out on an official date." he said. Brennan laughed, "A date? What difference will that make? We spend most of our time together. Booth, you don't need to take me out on a date to kiss me. You can kiss me whenever you'd like." she said smiling. Booth smiled, "That's good to know, Bones. But, please, let me take you out on an official date. No murder. Just us." he said while placing his hand on top of hers. Brennan took his hand and held it tightly, "I'd like that. Can we kiss now?" she asked with a small smile and a twinkle in her eyes. Booth grinned and leaned in to kiss her. The waitresses at the diner shared a smile and big grins. As they witnessed the pair share many meals but never a kiss. They all knew that they were meant to be together. "Our first public kiss, Bones. How does it feel?" he asked as he kept his hand intertwined with hers. Bones laughed, "It felt…right. I can't seem to explain why but it just does." she said.

During Erin's free period she began to explore the school's athletic department as she was now intrigued. She sat on the bleachers and leaned against the wall. She began to think about her first English paper. Who was Erin Grace? How did people see her? She knew her mother thought she was a promiscuous teenager. She knew Angela saw her as a daredevil city girl. But who was Erin through her eyes? She verbally groaned and continued to watch the cheer team stretch and a few boys playing basketball. Erin decided she had enough and continued to roam the school. She ended up in the Music Department and continued to read through their achievements. Erin used to play the violin and she was good. She also sang but stopped singing as singing in public wasn't something she liked. She stumbled upon the orchestra room and turned on the lights. She made an audible gasp as she touched one of the violins. Erin looked around to check the hallways and closed the door. She sat down and positioned herself as she once did. She began to play Ludovico Einaudi's Experience and began to feel the tears emerge from her eyes and decided to stop playing. "Why did you stop? That was..amazing. I'm Dr. Tack, the orchestra director." the man said as he stepped towards her. Erin was surprised and, "Uh, thank you. Sorry for playing an instrument that is not mine. I was just exploring. I'm new here. I'm Erin Stier." Erin said as she placed her hand out to shake his. Dr. Tack shook her hand, "I knew I've never seen you around. It's nice to meet you. Have time to talk? I can write you a note." he asked. Erin smiled and nodded.

Brennan was helping Angela with a scenario on the Angelatron. Her hands were in her lab coat. She bit her lower lip and then turned to Angela. "Got something on your mind, sweetie?" Angela asked. Brennan chuckled, "Yes. Booth and I kissed. Last night and today. In the diner." She said as she attempted to hold her smile in. Angela's mouth was wide open, "HALLELUJAH! oh my god. How was it? When? What happened?!" Her best friend asked. Brennan took a sigh of relief, "I was terrified of change. Of myself. But I'm different now. I have accepted that. I am very happy Angela. It feels like everything has happened." She finished with a smile and a small tear rolling down her cheek.
