At 7 PM, Booth was right outside the Brennan residence. He was wearing a dark dress shirt with his best slacks. No cocky belt buckle in sight. He knocked on the door with one hand while the other was holding a bouquet of yellow daisies and white daffodils. Erin heard the knock, "He's a very punctual man. Would you like to get the door?" Erin asked Brennan who was putting on her shoes. Brennan smiled, "Yes. Thank you for helping me, Erin." she said as she stood up and squeezed Erin's shoulder. Erin smiled and went into the kitchen to catch a peek at the couple, Brennan opened the door and Booth's smile had already turned into gasp. "Temperance, you look incredible. I got this for you." he said as he gave her a kiss on the cheek. Brennan blushed, "Thank you, Booth. You remembered my favorite flowers." she said as she smelled the bouquet. Erin approached the door, "I can take those. I'll put them in water for you. Hi Booth, you look very handsome." Erin said with a smile. Booth blushed, "Thanks, AirBear. Are you ready for our date Bones?" he asked as he took his hand out for her to hold. Brennan took his hand, "Yes. I believe I am." she responded. Erin held the door, "Have fun. I won't wait up." she said as she winked at the pair and closed it, leaving Brennan and Booth in the hallway.

Brennan chuckled and blushed, "ooh, Erin Grace." she grumbled, and Booth also laughed. Booth began to lead the way, "Come on Bones! We have a schedule to follow." he said with a smile. Brennan squeezed Booth's hand. Booth led Brennan to the reflecting pool, where there was a small dinner table set up for the pair. With two butlers who were actually his FBI pals. The table was adorned with a white tablecloth, a candle, and a bottle of wine in a bucket of ice. Brennan laughed, "Wow! When did you have the time to assemble something like this?" she asked. Booth laughed and walked over to Brennan's chair to pull it out, "I make time for very important people." he said. Brennan sat down on her chair and began to take in her surroundings. She couldn't believe that Booth would take the time to do this for her. Booth took his seat and stared at Bone's intently. "You're gorgeous. Absolutely stunning." he said breathlessly. Brennan blushed, "Thank you. You can thank Erin; she did my makeup. But, thank you. For all of this." She took Booth's hand to hold it. The butlers brought in their meal and bread. "It smells amazing." Brennan said as she let go of Booth's hand. Booth opened the bottle of wine and filed their glasses. "To taking this chance. To us." Booth said as he held his glass up for the toast, "Hey, I usually toast. But, yes to us." Brennan replied as she laughed.

After their dinner, the butlers took their plates and Booth took Brennan's hand. "It's time for our next activity, Bones." he said as he pulled her up. "Where are we going?" She asked with a smile. Booth pointed to the horse drawn carriage coming their way. "Oh, Booth— this is. Wonderful." She said as she placed a kiss on his lips. "Nothing but the best for you." He said as he placed one of his hands on her lower back. He helped her onto the carriage. The couple were holding hands. Cherishing their time together, the feeling of pure love. "Erin was right. You do look incredibly handsome. You smell amazing as well." Brennan said as she leaned her head on Booth's shoulder. Booth blushed, "Thanks, Bones." He wrapped his around her as they continued their stroll.

Erin was watching a movie in the family room. She was in her comfiest pajamas, buried in her weighted blanket. A knock at her door startled her. She took a quick glance at her watch, it was 9:30 PM. It couldn't possibly be her mom. She stood up and looked through the peephole and saw Pax. The junior she was tutoring in math during lunch. She opened the door, "Pax? Are you okay?" She asked as she now clearly saw the black eye and the blood on his shirt. Erin escorted him into the apartment, "What happened to you?" She asked again. Pax covered his eye, "I uh- got into it with one of the guys." He said, "I remembered where you lived, and I came here. I don't know why I did. I'm sorry, Erin." He continued as he sighed. Erin handed him an eye pack and a wet wipe for the dried blood on his face. Erin shook her head, "Nonsense, don't worry about coming here." As she inspected his eye up close. "Damn, whoever did this really rocked your shit." She said, "Pax I'm going to apply some slight pressure by your orbital socket. I need to make sure you didn't fracture anything. Tell me if it hurts. 1-10." She said as she sat him down and leaned in close. She applied pressure and Pax groaned, "4." He said gritting his teeth. Erin sighed, "You're just bruised. That's good. I'm going to get you some pain reliever." She said as she headed to the bathroom. She spun around, "Wait, give me your shirt. Let me wash it. I'm about to throw in another load!" She said with a smile. Pax raised his one healthy eyebrow, "Erin you don't have to wash my shirt! It's okay. I'll just throw it away." He spoke. Erin shook her head in protest. "That's wasteful Pax. I'll get the blood right out. Plus, two weeks ago you told me this was your favorite shirt." She said with a chuckle. Pax laughed, "I did say that. I'm surprised you remembered." He stood up groaning and took his shirt off, revealing his toned abdomen. Erin took the shirt and continued towards the bathroom. Pax walked into the family room, "I love The Goonies!" He said as he sat down on the couch. Erin came back with the pain reliever and a cup of water. She sat down next to Pax, "Here. It's my all-time favorite movie! I can start it over again. I don't mind." She said, Pax smiled while holding the ice pack to his eye still. "I'd like that. Thanks, Erin." He said sincerely. Erin began to wonder if his altercation did involve one of the guys. She hoped he wasn't in trouble. She allowed him to relax. Offering him snacks and a blanket.
