Loki glowered at the idiotic dope called Thor, as the red-caped annoyance prepared the machine that used the Tesseract-Loki's Tesseract-to send the two gods back to Asgard.
He switched his glare to Barton and Romanoff, thinking hateful thoughts as he watch the two smirk at him.
Loki got some satisfaction in watching Banner's nervous expression as he watched Thor power up the machine.
Banner...
The man was interesting. A peaceful doctor that could turn into a furious green giant when angry enough.
A giant that could beat Loki.
The god winced, still feeling the pain of the wounds the creature had inflicted when smashing him into concrete.
But Loki was far more interested in the human side of the shared body.
It was clear he was the teams greatest weakness. The doctors pitiful kindness and compassion made people like him.
As Loki was the God of Mischief, he could tell people's weaknesses, something that came very useful when pranking.
And every single person on the Avengers had at least one of their major weaknesses in the form of-wait for it- Bruce Banner.
Especially Romanoff, and Loki knew what that meant.
Loki smiled under his muzzle. He clearly remembered the red maned woman saying "Love is for children."
Well.
What a hypocritical thing to say.
Loki pushed these thoughts, instead focusing on his anger for the "team."
He longed to get revenge, just one last revenge before he was swept off to the planet Loki hated.
Wait...
There was something he could do...
Loki remembered finding a book long ago, when he was only 563 years old.
In it was a spell, and what it did to the victim was _ _-_ _.
Loki drew in all his power, and directed the spell at Bruce Banner just as Thor turned the lever that would send the two back to Asgard.
And the last thing Loki saw before rainbow light engulfed him was Bruce Banners terrified face.
