HELLO. As I previously mentioned in one of my stories, I've decided to write a Unicorn Gundam and Accel World crossover!

As always, a disclaimer, I do not own Gundam UC or Accel World in any form or manner.

And a small warning, I will be loosely following the light novels up to Haruyuki's Chrome Disaster arc, everything after that will most likely not be related to canon aside from the general brief outline.

Here it is!

XXX

In a cafe, a pair of teenagers were chatting through a direct wired connection with their Neuro Linkers.

One of them was a beautiful girl with long lush back hair, Kuroyukihime, while the other was a short and rather chubby boy, Arita Haruyuki.

Kuroyukihime took a sip from her coffee and spoke through their private connection, 'Haruyuki-kun, as you have experienced yesterday, you are a Burst Linker.'

The chubby boy blinked as the word registered in his mind, 'A Burst Linker?'

The girl nodded, 'Yes, Haruyuki-kun. Players of the program Brain Burst. We possess the ability to perceive the world at a different speed, at the cost of Burst Points.'

Haruyuki blinked, 'Burst Points? You mean the points that dropped after what happened yesterday?'

The girl nodded, 'Yes. We use Burst Points to accelerate, and to get those Burst Points, we fight.'

The boy blinked, 'So, we fight other Burst Linkers to get points?'

Kuroyukihime let a small smile grace her lips, 'That's the simplified answer, yes.'

The smile quickly disappeared from her face, as her tone became serious, 'Brain Burst is a society in itself. That society is comprised of factions, or what we call Legions.'

Haruyuki blinked, 'Legions?'

The girl nodded, 'Yes. Actually, rather than factions, it is easier if you think of them as gamer guilds.'

Understanding became evident on the boy's face, something the girl couldn't fault him for, since he was a gamer, just as much as every other Burst Linker was.

Kuroyukihimi continued, 'All of our Avatars are made of a certain colour or element paired with a noun, and the chances of another avatar getting the same colour or element is minuscule such that it has only happened once. Yours is the metal silver, mine is the colour black. Right now, there are six major Legions, led by six pure coloured Burst Linkers.'

Haruyuki raised an eyebrow, 'Pure coloured Burst Linkers?'

The girl smiled softly, 'Yes, pure colours. They are known as the Six Kings of Pure Colour. All of them are level nine Burst Linkers.'

The boy then asked, 'What about you, senpai? What is your level?'

Kuroyukihime smiled, 'I'm also at level nine. I was previously a King as well.'

Haruyuki blinked in confusion, 'Previously?'

The girl closed her eyes as she took a sip from her cup again, 'We'll get to that later. Back to the Six Kings, they are made up of the colours red, blue, yellow, green, purple and white.'

Haruyuki nodded, 'I see... And they're all crazily strong?'

Kuroyukihime chuckled, 'Yes, they are very strong. I tried taking all of them on at the same time, and I only managed to take out one of them.'

The boy blinked in shock, 'You fought them?!'

The girl nodded, 'Yes, but that's another story for another time. Right now, focus on knowing them. All of the kings embody the colour they have, so they possess the strongest of the attributes they represent. Blue for close ranged combat, red for long ranged combat, yellow for illusions, purple for a combination of long and close ranged combat, or pure mid ranged combat, and finally ,green for defense.'

Haruyuki nodded, 'I see. Then what about us? Mine is silver, and yours is black.'

Kuroyukihime smiled, 'Ours are special cases. For you, your Duel Avatar is on the metal colour scheme. I mentioned that our Duel Avatars are made up of an element, and a noun, yes? Silver is one of them. The metal scheme is generally lacking in weaponry in the beginning, but in exchange, you have high defensive stats and high unarmed combat abilities.'

The boy nodded in understanding, 'And black? You also mentioned white being a colour too, right?'

Kuroyukihime nodded, 'To be honest, I don't know. If you want an answer, then I suppose black and white can be said to be a Jack of all trades.'

Haruyuki blinked, 'A Jack of all trades?'

The girl nodded, 'I'm the only black avatar as far as I know so I can't compare my abilities, and I only know two white avatars. They are nothing alike.'

Haruyuki nodded, before he asked, 'Then what about your abilities? And who are these two White avatars?'

The girl smiled, 'You'll find out soon. As for the two white avatars...'

Kuroyukihime's face turned sober, 'The first one is the current King of the white legion, White Cosmos. The other is the first Avatar to ever fly, and the most balanced yet unbalanced Duel Avatar, White Unicorn.'

...

...

(linebreak - A few days later)

On a private jet, a 16 year old young man glanced out from his window, 'Its been two years huh...'

He closed his eyes, and memories from the past resurfaced.

(Flashback - Two years ago)

In the Unlimited Neutral Field, the seven kings were having a meeting.

The king of the red Legion, Red Rider spoke, "This is bullshit. We can't seriously fight it out to get to level 10, right?"

The six other kings remained silent, and Rider continued, "I mean come on! We don't fight each other because we hate each other! We do that because we're rivals, right?!"

Yet again, the kings stayed silent.

Rider looked at Black Lotus, "Lotus, you agree with me, right? I mean, I like the way you fight! If we ever meet in the real world, we can be buddies. No, I want to be buddies."

"Rider!"

The red king stiffened before he quickly turned to the purple king, "I didn't mean it like that! I meant it as respect! RESPECT!"

Lotus sighed, before she nodded, "I suppose that's true. At the very least, I can say that I respect as a friend."

Red Rider visibly brightened up, "I knew you'd see it my way!"

Lotus nodded, "Then let's shake on it, we'll continue the non-aggression pact."

Rider nodded, and extended his hand to shake, only to realize something, "Ermmm..."

The black king also noticed the fact that she had no fingers, nor hands, and she nodded, "Sorry... let's do it this way instead."

The female avatar retracted her blades, and graceful pulled the red avatar into a hug.

Purple Thorn immediately protested, "HEY!"

Red Rider nervously spoke up, "It's n-nothing like that! It's just a sign of respect!"

Lotus nodded, "Yes, a sign of respect. A Death by Embracing."

The words barely registered in everyone's mind, as Red Rider's head fell to the ground, and Black Lotus' arm blades extended.

After a few moments, a horrified scream rang through the area, followed by a yell of rage.

"LOTUS!"

A loud clang sounded the area, as Blue Knight's sword clashed against Black Lotus' blades.

The blue king gritted his teeth, "Why did you do that?!"

The black king gave no reply, before noticing Purple Thorn charging her rod with lightning.

But before the purple king could fire her attack, a loud gunshot reached their ears. A very distinct and a very familiar gunshot.

Thorn growled as she quickly jumped away right as a red beam covered in purple highlights struck the floor.

Knight grunted as he heard a second gunshot, and he jumped back just in time to avoid a similar beam.

The other kings looked up to where the shots came from, and they saw him.

A pure white Duel Avatar descending from the sky, a single horn on his head, carrying a shield and a single gun.

The yellow king, Yellow Radio stared at him, "So you're betraying us as well, Unicorn?"

The white Avatar, White Unicorn, gave no reply as he landed beside Black Lotus.

He looked around at all the remaining kings, specifically at Purple Thorn, before he grabbed Lotus and shot straight up to the sky.

...

(Flashback end)

The young man let out a breath, "I guess I'm back now..."

As he sat in his seat, a brown haired woman in a business suit approached him, "Mr Banagher, we'll be arriving at Haneda Airport soon."

Banagher nodded, "Thanks, Lily. What's on my schedule?"

The woman, Lily, brought out a tablet and looked through it, "You have nothing on schedule this week. But next Monday, you have a meeting with the company board."

The man nodded, "Hmm, thanks. By the way, did you get what I asked you about?"

Lily nodded and handed Banagher the tablet, "Yes, here it is."

An amused smile appeared on his face as he scrolled through the tablet, before he looked at Lily, "Good work, send a copy of these files to me."

The woman nodded and took the tablet, before she asked, "So, why did you ask me to investigate about them?"

Banagher chuckled, "Let's just say that they're friends I met online."

Lily raised an eyebrow before she nodded, "I see. Then excuse me."

Banagher nodded as the woman went back to her seat.

As she did, the young man chuckled, 'Kuroyukihime... Snow Black eh? You never change.'

...

(linebreak - Later that day)

Banagher sat in the back seat of a pure white Toyota Alphard as the car stopped at the traffic lights. Before everything around suddenly froze.

The man raised an eyebrow as his surroundings burned to black, revealing the words:

A REGISTERED DUEL IS BEGINNING!

Banagher hummed, 'A duel? Oh, I forgot to turn the function off... Ah well, I guess I'll have a look.'

The man closed his eyes, feeling his Duel Avatar take the place of his usual body, before opening it to see the familiar surroundings of the World End's stage.

Unicorn looked around, realizing he had surprisingly manifested in a place isolated from most of the other spectating Burst Linkers. He then decided to go deeper and lower into the building, letting the shadows hide him.

The second white Avatar hummed and looked around, spotting a metallic Duel Avatar fighting with a blue bulky Duel Avatar.

Unicorn raised an eyebrow as the two traded blows. It was pretty obvious who was the more experienced one was.

He glanced up and saw the names, Silver Crow, and Cyan Pile, before looking back at the fight.

Silver Crow obviously had the advantage in mobility, his hit and run tactics made it very obvious. As for Cyan Pile, while slow and bulky, more than made up for it with experience and pure strength.

Unicorn let an amused smile appear on his hidden face, 'Reminds me of when I fought with Grandee all the time back then.'

But his smile vanished when he heard the context of their conversation, 'Hmm, so they're real life friends... I guess Brain Burst can be a place to settle some problems...'

Then, he saw Pile smashing his spike into Crow's chest, taking up a big chunk of his HP, at the same time sending the lithe Avatar off the building.

Immediately, Unicorn heard voices from above him, most of them writing the metallic Avatar to be as good as gone. The man chuckled, 'I don't think that'll be the case.'

Unicorn leaned on the wall as he watched on, taking note of the timer that slowly counted down from 70 seconds.

Then he heard it. A loud vibrating sound, and in flash, Silver Crow shot up from where he fell.

Unicorn smiled in amusement leaning forward out of the shadows to get a better view, "Ho... Wings eh?"

The winged Avatar shot downwards, easily evading the spike that shot out from Cyan Pile, and he punched his childhood friend, pushing both of them up straight into the sky.

From below, Unicorn chuckled, "A fall from that height will take out anyone. It's over."

The man leaned back into the shadows, watching Crow slowly lower both himself and Pile down, before he started to open the menu to exit the match, until he heard a very familiar voice.

"LISTEN WELL, BURST LINKERS OF THE SIX KINGS' LEGIONS! My name is Black Lotus, one who rebels against this fake throne of peace! My Legion, NEGA NEBULUS, will not hide any longer! We will end this false peace!"

Unicorn smirked and hit the log out button, "You never change, Lotta."

(Linebreak)

Banagher opened his eyes as time resumed around him. At the same time, the car started to move again.

The young man looked at the time and thought, 'I guess I know what to do later.'

...

(Linebreak - later that evening)

Banagher rode on his bike around the area.

Thanks to his father's insistence, the teenager had gotten a driver's license for a car and a bike. Of course, since he was only 16, the vehicles he could drive/ride were limited to only the smaller ones.

But that was more than enough.

The teen stopped his bike at a park, taking notice of a short chubby boy sitting alone at a bench sipping on a bottle of juice (after visiting Kuroyukihime, of course, and she's only in the hospital until today, she will attend school tomorrow).

Banagher shrugged it off and chanted for the 5th time in the evening, "Burst Link."

The area around him instantly took on a bluish hue as time slowed down. Banagher glanced back at his own body on the bike as he manifested in his Network Avatar, which was basically himself but with a space suit (yes, Unicorn Gundam's pilot suit).

The teen swiftly opened the Brain Burst's menu and spotted the one name he had been looking for for the entire evening, "Bingo."

Banagher quickly tapped on Silver Crow's name and pressed confirm, allowing his Duel Avatar to take his place as his surroundings burned to nothingness.

HERE COMES A NEW CHALLENGER!

White Unicorn opened his eyes to see Silver Crow standing in front of him. The fact that they were in the park with the Sunset Stage also didn't escape him.

Unicorn hmm'd as he looked around, the audience obviously surprised by his appearance.

One of them exclaimed, "That Duel Avatar! Isn't that White Unicorn?!"

Another one shouted, "First Black Lotus, now the White Devil is back?!"

Ash Roller shouted from the crowd, "Hey! So we'll be seeing an air fight, yeah?!

Unicorn turned to look at the crowd and sighed, "Sorry, but this is a bit of a private thing. We'll give you an air fight some other time."

The white avatar swiftly pressed the private duel setting, effectively cutting the audience off as they vanished.

Silver Crow stared at him, obviously nervous, "Y-you're White Unicorn-san, yes?"

Unicorn nodded, "Yep, I suppose Lotus told you about me, right?"

Crow nodded, subconsciously backing away, "Y-yeah, something about being the first Avatar to fly, and the most balanced yet unbalanced Burst Linker."

The white avatar nodded, "Yep, of course, those aren't my only nicknames."

Crow blinked underneath his helmet, "And umm, what are the others?"

Unicorn raised an eyebrow, "Hmm? Ah well, if I remember correctly, I have, the White Devil, the White Meteor, the Second White, and the Mobile Cannon... I think I have more, but that's all I remember for now."

Crow smiled nervously at those names, very intent on running away, "I-I see."

Unicorn shook his head, "That doesn't matter."

He looked at Silver Crow straight in the eye, "Now, let's see what you can do."

Crow blinked, "Eh?"

Unicorn chuckled, "We fight. I wanna see how you do, as the first Avatar to fly."

The metallic Avatar nervously backed away, "R-really?"

The white avatar nodded, "Yep, 'sides, I wanna see if Lotus chose correctly."

For some reason, Haruyuki felt challenged, and he took a deep breath to steel his nerves, before giving a strong reply, "GOT IT."

Unicorn grinned under his helmet, "That's more like it. Oh, and of course, I'll be fighting bare handed."

Crow blinked, "What? But won't that give you a disadvantage?"

The white avatar threw his gun and shield away, cracking his knuckles as he took a simple boxer's stance, "Don't worry about it. I've had my fair share of unarmed combat."

Silver Crow simply nodded and took a simple stance, "Okay, then here I go!"

The silver avatar charged forward, throwing a fist at Unicorn's head. The second white avatar swiftly pushed the punch away, punching Crow in the face, taking 10% of his HP away at the same time.

Crow growled, regained his bearings before quickly dashing to the left to attack Unicorn's side.

But the plan backfired when Unicorn blocked his punches before landing a one-inch punch in his abdomen, sending the level one Avatar flying away, taking away 20% of HP this time.

Crow groaned in pain as he struggle to his feet, taking note of the difference in HP they had and more importantly, the difference in MP they had.

Unicorn had his charged at about 10%, while Crow's was at 40%. That was his chance.

Spreading his wings, Silver Crow quickly took to the sky, taking 2% of his MP gauge before it stopped decreasing as he hovered in place.

Unicorn looked up and commented, "Hmm, I see. Unlike mine or Raker's, your wings give you actual flight."

Crow narrowed his eyes at the comment, before his eyes widened as Unicorn was suddenly right in his face.

"Well, you're not the only one who can fly."

Crow gasped as he flipped his body backwards, narrowly avoiding a kick that was aimed for his head, before quickly putting distance between them.

Only then did he get a clear view. Unicorn wasn't flying with wings. Instead, he was flying with thrusters. One jetpack on his back, with several smaller thursters around his body.

The worst thing was... Unicorn's MP gauge didn't decrease at all.

Crow blinked, "How is your MP gauge-"

"Not decreasing?"

Silver Crow nodded at Unicorn's statement, who replied, "Ah well, I just got it when I was level 4, or was it 5? Can't remember. But yeah, I can fly for an indefinite amount of time without the need for MP.

At that statement, Crow wanted to cry in frustration, 'Now I know what Senpai meant by balanced yet unbalanced. Unlimited flight is just broken as fuck!'

Unicorn let out a breath, "Now let's continue, we have 20 minutes left."

The white avatar didn't wait for a response and charged, swinging his right leg for a kick.

The hit landed, but to Unicorn's surprised, he felt Crow grabbing hold of his leg, before he was swung around several times and felt himself hitting the ground.

The white avatar groaned, noticing that the crash had taken 20% of his HP, while his kick had taken 10% from Silver Crow.

He chuckled as he reignited his thrusters again, "Not bad not bad."

Unicorn swiftly closed the distance between them and punched the crow straight in the face before he could even react, sending him further upwards, but not before grabbing hold of the silver avatar's ankles before swinging him towards the ground.

Crow groaned as he shook his head groggily, before his vision cleared to see the white devil standing above him.

White Unicorn chuckled, "You're not half bad, for a newbie anyway. I suppose the princess did make the right choice."

The metallic avatar then suddenly found a glowing sphere of energy in his face, and he blinked, "What?"

Unicorn spoke, "I expect a better rematch in the future. See ya around."

Then he pulled the trigger, and Haruyuki knew no more.

(Linebreak)

With Banagher, the man opened his eyes as time resumed around him, and he noticed the chubby boy on the bench flinch rather visibly.

The teen chuckled, 'So that's him. Well, I've seen weirder combinations.'

Banagher revved his bike before heading back to his home.

As the teen left, Haruyuki blinked as he recalled the match, 'Senpai needs to know this.'

...

(Linebreak - Next day)

After school, as Haruyuki and Kuroyukihime walked out of the school building, the shorter boy told the girl about the match he had yesterday.

As soon as he finished, Kuroyukihime stopped straight in her tracks, "Are you serious?"

Haruyuki turned and stared at her confusedly, "Umm, yeahhh?"

The girl closed her eyes, "I see..."

The chubby boy asked, "Senpai, are you okay?"

Kuroyukihime nodded, "Yes, I'm fine. I'll tell you later. Let's go."

Haruyuki nodded with a smile and followed the girl out of the school, unaware of another girl gazing at them with a frown from behind.

As they stepped out of the gates, however, they were met with an MPV, a white Toyota Alphard, with a brown haired teenage boy wearing a brown jacket and long pants smiling at them.

Banagher grinned and waved, "Hey."

Haruyuki looked around, before looking back at the brunette, not noticing Kuroyukihime's blank expression, "Umm, I'm sorry, are you talking to us?"

The teen regarded Haruyuki for a moment, before he pulled Kuroyukihime into a tight hug.

The short teen blinked several times, before he heard the other students whispering, "Hey, is that her boyfriend?"

"Wait, what about that Arita-san?"

"I thought he rejected her?"

"That was last week, wasn't it?"

"But they've been together for almost every recess session!"

Haruyuki sighed, 'There goes my non-existent reputation again.'

But everyone was pulled out their thoughts as Banagher exclaimed, "You've grown hime! My lil sister is all grown up now!"

Haruyuki blinked, "Sister?"

Kuroyukihime sighed, a blush on her face as Banagher let her go, "Stop it... please..."

The brunette smiled, "What? I'm not wrong."

The girl glared at the older teen weakly, "Why are you here in Japan anyway? I thought you're supposed to be in New York."

Banagher's grin did not disappear, "I wanted to surprise y'all."

Kuroyukihime sighed, before she asked, "So?"

Banagher noticed the crowd around them, "Hmm, let's go to somewhere private."

He turned and opened the door of the Alphard, and glanced back at the pair, "Get on."

The two slowly got on to the car, as Banagher got on to the shotgun seat.

As they got on, one girl called out, "Haru, where are you going?"

Haruyuki looked back and saw his childhood friend, "Umm, I'll be gone for a bit. I'll see you later I guess."

Banagher rolled down the window and looked at the girl, "Sorry miss, but I've got a bit business with them."

Chiyuri sighed as the door and window closed before the car drove off.

(linebreak)

On the car, Banagher said, "Lily, bring us to the Gundam Cafe please."

Lily nodded, "Got it."

Upon hearing that, Haruyuki blinked, "Gundam Cafe? Isn't that far away?"

Banagher nodded as he turned back with a smile, "Yep, 30 minutes from our location. But that just gives us more time to talk, right, Hime-chan?"

Kuroyukihime blushed and looked away, "Suit yourself."

The brunette chuckled before he looked at Haruyuki, "Hmm, so you're our Legion's newest member eh? You look pretty different from what I imagined."

Haruyuki blinked in confusion, "S-sorry?"

Banagher grinned, "Come on, you still haven't got it yet, Silver Crow?"

The chubby boy blinked, "How did you- Wait, don't tell me you're?"

The brunette nodded, "Yep, we met yesterday at the park."

Kuroyukihime sighed, "Yes, he's White Unicorn."

The girl then glared at him, "And what's this about you fighting Haruyuki-kun?"

Banagher laughed, "Don't worry about it. I just wanted to test him, as a fellow flight type Burst Linker."

Haruyuki sighed before he realized something, "Wait, your ummm friend, is she?"

Lily replied stoically as she drove, "I'm his secretary, and if you're talking about the Brain Burst, yes, I know."

Banagher nodded, "Lily's more like the older sister I never had. But yeah, I told her and my dad when I went back to America. Well, it's not much of a problem, they promised not to do anything yet."

Kuroyukihime sighed, "I see..."

The brunette nodded, "Well, at any rate, my old man let me come back to Japan for some work, so I'll be here from now on."

Lily huffed, "Just be careful not to spend too much time in there."

Banagher chuckled, "Yes yes, lighten up, Lily, or you'll end up like my old hag of an aunt."

The woman shot the teen a stern glare before silently resuming her drive.

Banagher grinned before he looked Kuroyukihime, "By the way, what's with that name, Kuroyukihime, you liked my stories that much, Sa-chan?"

Kuroyukihime blushed again and glared at him weakly, "Shut up. Not a word."

Haruyuki blinked in confusion, "Ermm, I'm sorry, I don't follow?"

The brunette's grin widened and he turned to look at Haruyuki, leaning from his seat, "Oh you don't know? My lil sis here loves princess fairy tales, and we used to-uggh!"

Banagher found a hand covering his mouth as Kuroyukihime pushed him down, "Shut up... please..."

Lily sighed as she slowed down the car, "Mr Banagher, please remember we're on the road."

The teen sighed and sat down properly, "Fine fine... Party pooper."

Haruyuki let a forced smile appear on his face as he saw Kuroyukihime's blushing face, "So, Banagher-san, are you really Senpai's brother?"

Kuroyukihime sighed frustratedly, "Of course not."

Banagher chuckled, "I'm hurt, hime. And here I thought we were one big family."

The girl grumbled softly, "You're the one who left Japan so suddenly."

The teen chuckled, "And I'm sorry for that. But Haruyuki-san, to answer your question, no. She's not my real sister. We met in Brain Burst, of course, but I see her as my cute baby sister."

Haruyuki easily spotted a blush forming on the girl's face again, and he decided not to think too much about it, "I see..."

The boy decided to change topics, "So, umm, Banagher-san, why are we going to the Gundam Cafe?"

Banagher raised an eyebrow as he looked at Haruyuki through the mirror, "Why? To have lunch of course. I always wanted to go there, or is it that you don't like Gundam? Hey Lily, do you know any other good places?"

Haruyuki spoke up quickly, "No no no, its just, isn't that place mainly, for you know, tourists?"

The teen looked at the boy, "If you're worried about the price, don't worry, my treat."

Kuroyukihime huffed as she looked out of the window, "You better."

Banagher chuckled, "Yes yes. But yeah, if you have any other better suggestions, I'm all ears. I just love Gundam and I wanna visit that place at least once before I die."

The girl grumbled again, "Mecha dumbass... Even your Duel Avatar is a Gundam."

The teen laughed, "Exactly."

Haruyuki blinked, "How is his Avatar a Gundam?"

Banagher just grinned, "You'll see in the future."

(AUTHORS NOTE: FOR NOW, JUST ASSUME THAT THE UNICORN GUNDAM DOESN'T EXIST IN THIS TIMELINE. EVERY OTHER GUNDAM UP TO IBO EXISTS THOUGH)

Before they could continue on their conversation however, Lily spoke up, "We're here."

The three looked out, and they were indeed outside the Gundam Cafe in Akihabara.

Banagher grinned, "Sweet. Let's go. Lily, you can park the car, right?"

The woman sighed and nodded, "Yes, of course, go on ahead."

The teen grinned and got off the car, "Thanks."

The two younger teens got off the car as well, Haruyuki a bit reluctantly more so than Kuroyukihime.

The three approached the cafe, where they were greeted by a waitress, "Hi, how can I help you?"

Banagher smiled, "A table for four please."

The waitress nodded and took a look at her tablet, "Alright, then right this way please."

The three followed the waitress, where she sat them down at a table.

Haruyuki looked around, "Wow, this place is nice."

Banagher grinned, "I know right! Let's look at the menu first."

As they skimmed through the menu, Kuroyukihime sighed, guilt obvious in her tone, "Banagher, why are you-"

"Still talking to you like before?"

The girl nodded, "You of all people should know."

The teen looked at the girl straight in the eye, "Exactly. That sin is not yours alone to bear."

Haruyuki blinked, "Sin? What do you mean?"

Banagher let out a breath and turned his attention to the mega sized RX78-2 Gundam model at the entrance, "For you, it's not exactly my place to tell. If Sa-chan feels she's ready, then she'll tell you."

Kuroyukihime nodded, glancing at the shorter boy apologetically, "Sorry, Haruyuki-kun, but I'll tell you when I'm ready."

The boy just nodded, "Okay, I'll trust you on that, Senpai."

The girl blushed and nodded, looking away.

That was obviously not unnoticed by Banagher, as he smiled coyly, "Oh? So he's your type eh? I never knew."

Kuroyukihime glared at him, her blush darkening if anything, "Banagher!"

The older teen laughed wholeheartedly, "Chill, I'm just teasing. By the way, Haruyuki, I approve."

This prompted both younger teens to blush, and Kuroyukihime grumbled, "Let's just order our food. And for that, Banagher, I'm getting the most expensive one. And Haruyuki-kun, make sure you order above 2000 yen."

The chubby boy blinked, looking at the menu, "A-are you sure? I mean..."

Banagher just laughed, "Knock yourselves out, there's no point in coming here if we don't get the best."

A sigh sounded from behind them as Lily sat down, "Mr Banagher, enjoying yourself is important, but do keep track of your spendings."

The teen leaned into his chair as he called for a waiter, "It's fine, this is coming out of my own pocket."

The woman sighed, closing her eyes and nodded, "Very well, and may I assume that includes mine as well?"

The woman glanced at her boss with a sly smile at the end, prompting the teen to chuckle, "Nope, is what I'm tempted to say, but yes, of course."

Lily nodded her thanks, and as soon as the waitress reached their table, the four quickly placed their orders.

(Linebreak)

A rather expensive meal later, Lily dropped Haruyuki at his apartment first, since it was closer, before they reached Kuroyukihime's own apartment building.

As the girl got off, Banagher spoke out softly, "Burst Link."

Immediately, Kuroyukihime felt the world freeze around her, followed by her surroundings burning to blackness.

HERE COMES A NEW CHALLENGER!

The girl sighed, "Here it comes."

The girl felt the avatar of Black Lotus take her place, before opening her eyes to see White Unicorn's green eyes staring at her.

Lotus closed her eyes and waited for the inevitable.

Sure enough, not a moment sooner, Lotus felt a hard punch to her head, sending her sprawling to the ground.

After a short moment, Lotus couldn't hear the voices of the audience and realized Unicorn had turned on the privacy setting.

Unicorn spoke up, his eyes glowing as he stared down at the girl, "Do you know what that was for?"

Lotus didn't get up, but she replied, "For everything I've done, right?"

The white avatar sighed, "Wrong. That, was for going incognito and not replying to my messages for two whole fucking years!"

Lotus blinked, "What?"

Unicorn sighed, "I leave Japan, and not once did you text or email me. Hell, Fuuko texts me almost everyday, even Ui-Ui gives me a text once a week or so. For fucks sake, even Akira and PARD text me on occasions!"

The black king blinked again, "That's what you're angry about?"

Unicorn glared at the girl, "What else do you think I'm mad about?!"

Lotus replied, uncertainty in her voice, "For killing Rider and destroying our Legion (?)"

The white avatar sighed and palmed his face, "I'm not mad at you for that, you dumb girl. You did your best. No, what I'm mad about, is the fact that you wiped yourself off the grid without telling us anything! Say I forgive you for not contacting me, why in the nine hells did you cut everyone else off?! Do you know how worried Fuuko, Akira and Utai were?!"

Lotus blinked, before she realized something, "Umm, I notice you're not mentioning Graph-"

"Don't change the topic! I don't know who Graph is in real life anyway so I can't possibly contact him! What matters is that you, Black Lotus, failed to give me even one single text message, for a whole two years!"

The girl blinked, and she blinked again, before she laughed, "I guess you never change."

Unicorn paused, before he sighed, a smile underneath his mask, "Whatever, not like you're one to talk, Snow Black."

Lotus glared at him, "Stop mentioning that."

The white avatar huffed, before he turned and looked at his gun, "So, shall we have a little match, for old time's sake?"

Lotus stood up, a grin slowly forming on her face, "You think I'm gonna let go of this chance to get back at you?"

Unicorn grinned as he glanced back, "You kept track?"

The girl nodded, "50 to 51, you were leading."

The white avatar chuckled, "So you did."

Lotus nodded, "Here I come!"

Unicorn smirked and turned, the Beam Magnum immediately blasting a shot at the World End, only for her to flip around the beam, dodging it effectively.

Unicorn laughed and threw his gun away, quickly raising his shield to block a slash from the Black King, before a beam saber appeared from his right forearm, slashing at her.

Lotus narrowed her eyes and pulled away to dodge the saber, before pushing in quickly, only for the beam saber to flip backwards, blocking the king from attacking.

The girl smirked, flipping backwards, and landed gracefully on the ground.

Unicorn retook his stance, before he charged again, this time aiming a stab at Lotus' chest.

The Black King, in response, parried the stab, letting the saber slide across her sword arm as she closed in for a stab to Unicorn's chest, only to hit a shield.

The pair pushed against each other for dominance for a moment, before Lotus realized Unicorn's beam saber was slowly chipping off at her HP, and quickly pushed him away.

The girl cursed as she noticed her that HP was approximately at 50%, while Unicorn's HP was at 70%, "That beam saber of yours is as broken as ever."

Unicorn chuckled, "You're not so bad yourself. Your whole body is a weapon."

Lotus shot back, "And you're body is loaded with weapons."

Unicorn nodded amusedly, "Touché. Now, I think it's about time we finish this."

Lotus sighed, her MP gauge was enough for her anyways, "Fine."

The white avatar popped the saber out of his forearm, opting to hold it in his hand this time, while the black king pulled her right arm back.

One needed only a stab, while the other was an overwhelming slash. It all came down to whichever of them to be faster.

Both MP gauges immediately drained to zero, and they charged.

"Death by Piercing!"

"Hyper Beam Saber!"

(Linebreak)

Time resumed for the two contrasting Burst Linkers, and Banagher looked at Kuroyukihime, "Today was fun, hime, I'll see you around next time."

The girl turned to glance at him, and nodded with a soft smile as the Alphard drove away, leaving the 14 year old girl to enter her apartment alone.

With Banagher, the teen smiled as they left the area.

Lily asked, noticing his smile, "So, how did it go?"

The teen chuckled, "I'd say it went rather well."

The woman nodded, "I assume you'll be meeting more of your Burst Linker friends soon?"

Banagher nodded, "Tomorrow as well."

He sighed as he looked out of the window, "I hope it'll go as smoothly as it had today."

XXX

DONE. So that's the first chapter of this story. So the next chapter will be showing Banagher/Unicorn seeing some friends.

And also, I'm making Banagher a bit OOC, at least, compared to Banagher in the Unicorn series. If anything, he will be be more post-Narrative Banagher, but different.

Review please.

Until next time.
