It's been a while since I've written so I hope you guys will enjoy! FYI, criticism is aok. No point to not acknowledge it, right?
There may be problems with paragraphs, it took a while for me to get the determination to keep on writing.
'Warm... Warm... War-' "HOT!" I jolted up from my covers, feeling a harsh pain on my left leg. "Whaa-" I tried to speak but I was crudely interrupted by my mom yelling as she entered the house."Groudo- no time- run!" She talked as if she was out of breath to expand any of my confusion.
'What?!' I thought before my mind focused on the pain radiating from my leg. 'Fuck, that'll need checked out!' I thought out before hopping out of bed.
"How long?!" I yelled out to my mom, me still not fully understanding what she said. Before I got the response I grabbed a small bag and threw my most valuable of my belongings in. 'No answer huh?' I panicked, throwing on some tennis shoes and running out to expose myself to the hellhole outside.
Raining lava, reddish rocky spikes all over, and- "Mom!" I screamed when I saw what had formerly been my parent, crushed under her now scorched and dieing Wailmer."Run kid!" a man, roughly in his 30s was making his way as fas
"Dangit!" My panic started to pick up its pace, and I began to run in the same direction as the man and expose myself to more horrors. 'Arceus! what happened here!?' I ran past the former pokemon center. Now burnt and "remodeled" to where it was barely recognizable.
"Robin!" I heard my dad shout my name, and swoop in with his Dragalgae. "We need to go! Groudon has been awakened and was able to turn the local ground and fire type populations havik!" He gave me an actual explanation before rushing me down to the diving area."
"Groudon!?" I exclaimed while he dragged me along. 'The legend!? Only Rayquaza could save us now!' I processed as a giant bolder landed right by us, causing debris to go everywhere. Though dragalgae protected us from the remains of buildings with a surf to double the height of the bolder that crashed.
"Look out!" Dad warned as a not so friendly Camerupt exploited our diversion in attention, with an uncalled for eruption. 'Arceus!' I thought as my father released his Relacanth and shout commands. "Water Pulse! Use surf once you find an opening! Go to the exit once Camerupt is dealt with!" He spewed out commands as Dragalgae used Water Pulse to deal with any flying debris heading our way.
"Come on!" I shouted, seeing lava quickly advance on our position. 'I'm not getting toasted today!' I thought as father's pokemon noticed the incoming problem as well.
"Fuck! Relacanth hold off Camerupt until the lava reaches the remains of the pokecenter. Use everything in your arsenal to escape by then!" He yelled to his pokemon who was already engaged in combat. He then went into overdrive and threw me onto Dragalgae's back. "Go as fast as possible!" He ordered as relecanth realized a futility in their efforts. 'Water isn't working!'
Dragalgae and father started to race to the diving area as Relacanth broke off from combat and started levitating downhill to be brought to us with the return function. 'Time is running low!' I saw the lava slowly outpacing us and threatening us with probable death. "The lava is picking up!" I shouted as I diverted my eyes to the middle of the crater that held sootopolis.
'Where are all the people?!' I thought, that since the population of sootopolis was definitely around 60 thousand. The diving area should of been packed. I gagged
"Damnit! Stop for a second!" Dad ordered Dragalgae to stop much to my panic. 'We are only 5 meters away from freedom! and at a minimum!' I grew more worried once I saw hesitation in my father.
"We need to leave! Come on!" I tried to knock some sense into him. 'Hot...' more of my senses kicked in and the heat grew to levels of unbearable status.
"Uh- ok..." Dad finally spoke as the lava closed in on us. 'What was tha-' My thinking was interrupted as removed his pokesash and placed it upon my shoulder. For it to buckle around me and fit to size. '5 meters'
"Why are you giving me this?!" I tensed up as the molten lava closed in, and I realized what this meant. 'No... Noo dad' I tried to cry but the sun kept tears from flowing. '4 meters'
"I got a better shot at survival without the suit son... it's for the better," He placed a helmet that was definitely too large for me over my head and released Relacanth from one of the four pokeballs on the sash. '2 Meters'
"No... No!" He pressed the button on the helmet that sat right over my collar. Causing my body to be enveloped in the specialized diving suit. 'One meter'
"Cya son!" He said bye as he hopped onto Relacanth who used the rest of his reservation of water to use aquajet into the sea. 'B-' I tried to say something but Dragalgae drastically sped up to reach the water before we were swimming in lava. •Swoosh•
I was now surrounded by water on all sides, Dragalgae going down as quickly as he could to escape the hellscape above. Though we slowed down once we reached the bottom of the sea without Relacanth in sight.
'That bastard didn't tell us this was part of the plan' Dragalgae voiced his concern as they started an ascent once they got out from the underwater cave.
"I still can't see dad!" My worry started to grow once more as I assumed we would've spotted him somewhere among the way. 'Dragalgae was fine until now...' I sighed and put hope into spotting him on the surface.
Dragalgae seemed to slow the ascent, possibly due to overexertion. Besides the cause I took some time to take in the sites. Schools of luvdisc were moving around as some chinchou preyed upon those who stepped out of line. Though I wasnt able to see much in these waters. The water was mostly devoid of life and I grew more focused on the nearing surfacing. Three, two, one!
•Splash!• We surfaced and my eyes feasted upon the landscape. Though we were given a pretty bad present once we did surface. Relecanth was alone...
Well! Its not my best or favorite work so far, I need to past up a bit of the beginning but I think its working rn. FYI, I am planning on going over and fixing the beginning up but I am trying to reach more entertaining parts to write about. suggestions will be great gor team members as I still dont have a set plan. Give me some names as well. Much appreciated. I wrote this in two parts, not recommended.
