KUBO MICHIKO USED TO BE ONE OF THE FEW BLACK PRO HEROS IN JAPAN. Key word, used to be. With amazing ballerina dancing skills and the quirk with the ability to stretch her body like a piece of gum, she transferred from America to Japan to join U.A. High school in order to be a pro hero. But then she ends up getting pregnant during her second year at U.A. she drops out to take a leave of absence, when she had her first child, Kana, she reenrolls in a different Hero school: Shiketsu High. She becomes the Ballerina Hero: Elastic-Woman.From there she grows into a young new hero before having her second child this time with a new pro hero at the time: Rock Lock. But their romance ended the moment Rock Lock found out about her pregnancy leaving Michiko to raise another child alone. But it was hard for Michiko being a new hero in Japan with all of the racist threats she received online. After being constantly being bullied for her entire career, Michiko can't take the bullying anymore and commits suicide.
AFTER THE DEATH OF HER MOTHER, KANA HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO STEP UP. With her mostly absent foster father being always gone, Kana took responsibility of everything. She took care of her little sister, worked a part-time job to pay the bills, and trained her ass off in the dance studio to put her mom's hero training to use. Kana didn't have time for dating or bullies. Who would like a bully? Kana couldn't stand bullies, after all they were the reason she lost her mother. She was going to carry out her mother's dream of becoming a hero even if it killed her. But the last thing Kana expected was for Bakugo Katsuki to confess his move to her. When he confessed to her Kana only had one thing to say: no.
Kubo Kana broke Bakugo Katsuki's heart.
