Vera was waking up cold and sleepy holding her neck she stands and sees it is night time she looks around feeling seeing her bag she grabs it and opens it and rummage through as she adjusts her z-ring with the firium-z loaded . She feels her dagger,pokeball,and diary then she trips and falls. She groans and sees Hau laying down in pain. "Hau get up...!"
"Huh?" Hau looks at Vera and smiles, laughs then gets up. "Vera! What are you doing down there?" He gets up,dusts himself off, helps Vera to her feet, and then digs into a malasada.
Vera observes her surroundings. "Hau? Where are we?" She looks at him expectantly and thinks a sweat drop appears. 'Hau...come on, stop eating and answer my question here.' She looks down and kicks the dirt and sees a crow staring directly at them.
Hau smiles and feels his nose which was dripping blood a bit. "Oh my nose is bleeding." He wipes it off and chuckles. "Well how about we battle Vera?" He smiles happily. "One on one! We can practice our Z-Moves!"
'This is not alola...will a battle be even right in the night of a location I have never seen…? I guess one battle would not hurt.' She looks around the city streets. "Okay then. Dis come on out!"
Hau throws a Pokeball with his Decidueye and smiles. "All right!" He activates his Decidium-Z. "Like a raging shadow of the night! Use the Archer's spirit!" He poses. "Use Sinister Arrow Raid!" Decidueye strikes a series of synchronized poses with Hau to build Z-Power. It then files into the sky and forms an arc of arrows around its body. It then dives towards the ground alongside the arrows, which strike the ground and explode as Decidueye swoops past.
A couple of blocks away Riza Hawkeye was driving with Roy Mustang who was sleeping in the back and heard the explosions when she hit the brakes. "Colonel you heard that…?!" Riza grabs her gun and looks at Mustang. "Colonel...wake up…"
Roy Mustang yawns rubbing his eyes. "What's wrong?" He notices the blaze and gets out of the car.
Mustang and Riza run to the blaze then Riza points her gun at Hau and Vera. "You two hands up now!" Hau and Vera show their hands startled.
Mustang puts his gloves on and points at the pokemon. "What the hell are those things?!"
"Uh...Pokemon..duh?" She snarkily says and slightly ticked off
Mustang yells more. "What are pokemon?!"
"Yeah...s-so please put the guns away…" He starts to tear into a malasada and Riza shoots her gun at the Malasada.
Vera in her infinite wisdom uses fire alchemy and aims it at mustang and he counters and it makes a circle of flames with Hau in the middle. Hau curls into a ball scared and when the flames settle Riza handcuffs both of them.
Hau was in tears due to the thought of his malasada being ruined . Mustang looks at the two "You kids have some explaining to do."
While Hau and Vera try to explain stuff to Riza and Mustang, there was a man wearing a sleeveless green shirt and camouflage pants,wearing black boots, and a dog tag was watching Hau and Vera in an alley and the man's Raichu looked at him. His Radio goes off. "I assume you located the two Surge?"
The man replies in his gruff voice. "Yes agent….I do see them.."
The radio cackles and responds. "We need those two alive Lutenitent. They may have info."
"Copy Agent…" The man looks at his Raichu. "You're going to help win this mission right, soldier?" The raichu nods as the man loads an M1911 and hides back in the alley.
The next morning Hau and Vera wake up from a bench and they yawn. Hau looks at Vera and smiles. "Morin Vera! So what is the plan for today?" He smiles and Vera blushes a tad bit starting to speak.
"W-Well hau we need to go to a place...b-but well I guess we can stop for some malasadas Ms. Hawkeye was kind enough to give us some money…" Her face was melting like a Vanillish melting from a sunny day. Sure her dickish personality was a turn-off for most people but to her she just wanted to protect hau but even she knew she may have a crush on him. Hau notices her red face and looks worried.
"H-Hey Vera you okay? You're red in the face, are you sick?" Hau walks up to her.
"I am fine you dolt! Now let's j-just eat. A place to eat should not be too far from here ok?" She sputtered and she hears her pager going off and looks at it. "Huh Ms. Hawkeye needs us." Hau looks at her, cocking an eyebrow. "She wants us to meet her at The Central Train Station." Hau nods and gets up following her.
They run to the train station and Hawkeye notices them and walks to them. "Morning you two. I need a favour to ask you two. There is a person claiming to be a lieutenant roaming around here. We do not know his intentions but it can not be good. We need you two to investigate." Hau and Vera look at Riza.
"Sure," She thinks. 'Why can't you handle it…?' "Where is the lieutenant Ms. Hawkeye?"
"He was seen at Central City Library." They nod and they take off and walk to a pay phone and calls surge. "Lieutenant, they are on your way…"
Vera and Hau look at the map and run to see surge taking Mustang hostage. Hau freaks out slightly and Vera snarls. Hau calls out. "Hey, leave him alone! O-Or we will have to fight!" Lt. Surge laughs. "Oh ho! Two young privates against a lieutenant ! You kids won't survive this battle!" He takes out a Pokeball. "Raichu,you're the battlefield cadet!"
"Guess we got to fight him Hau." Hau nods and tosses a Pokeball and Vera grabs a pipe.
"Decidueye use Leaf Blade!" Decidueye uses Leaf Blade on Raichu. Meanwhile surge was dodging Vera attempts to hit surge with the lead pipe. "Raichu Thunderbolt!" Hau retorts Like a raging shadow of the night! Use the Archer's spirit!" He poses. "Use Sinister Arrow Raid!" Decidueye strikes a series of synchronized poses with Hau to build Z-Power. Riza blinks and walks to them shocked but smiling. "Well...I was not expecting that…" Vera cocks an eyebrow as Hau checks out surge.
"Why did the colonel not help himself Lieutenant?" Riza sighs as Mustang helps Surge up. "Truth is...this was a ploy...we need you Vera and Hau to become a Amestris soldier this as a test to see if you capable and Hau of helping yourself. Surge is working 2-way...with an agent we need you two." She looks at a stunned silence as she gets told what.
Later that night a woman with long blonde hair with a white dress with a diamond badge on it and black and white leggings. She walks to a payphone and picks it up and places it on her ear. "It seems the negotiations with them were a success, welcome my two children to their new Father." She chuckles a bit and hangs up the pay phone.
