Change start:

Bella P.O.V:

A growl echoed in her mind, reverberating through her soul. Eyes sharpened as a wily grin spread across her face.

"You aren't good for me Bella." He said.

Giggles left her grinning lips, an odd hate filled her mind. He left her a month ago, and while she was sad at first; she had a hunger fill her bones. One that seemed to get worse as time went on. Her dad noticed her sudden change from depressed to calm instantly and sat her down to ask if she was okay.

"Charlie," she asked.

"May I tell you what happened? I have taken far too long to accept what occurred and I feel speaking about it may help."

To say Charlie was surprised would be an understatement. But he nodded for her to continue.

"Edward led me into the forest (Charlie scowled) and proceeded to tell me I wasn't good for him." Charlie was about to interrupt, but Bella stopped him. Giving him a look that said let me finish.

"After that I sat down and took a look at what my life had turned into. Every time I went out with Alice, we would get clothes SHE wanted me to get. They slowly got me dependent on their help, did you notice that too?" She questioned, seemingly gobsmacked.

He sat there and thought. His eyes slowly started to widen when he remembered his daughter's interactions with the Cullen family. Ones at the store, where she would tag along and Edward would choose what she got (because his choices were healthier).

"Oh Bells, I'm so sorry. I didn't realize." He mumbled feeling like a shitty dad.

Bella simply smiled at him, a forgiving light in her eyes.

"Dad, not even I could recognize it. It's not your fault." She said, smiling softly.

The father and daughter duo spent the next two hours talking and joking, lightening the mood and setting a good start for tomorrow.

DAY 1:

Bella woke to the smell of burning food and a new language filled with cussing and phlegm, chuckling softly she headed downstairs. What she saw at the bottom made her outright laugh. Her dad was at the stove, covered in brown sauce and the pan containing a brown mushy substance with bright yellow mixed in.

"Trying to burn down the house old man?" She said humorously. Charlie scoffed and rolled his eyes at his daughter's antics.

"Haha, very funny Bells. I was actually trying to make Mac n' Cheese."

The answering smile he received seemed to brighten his day.

"Ah, well you know Mac n' Cheese is supposed to be yellow not brown right?" She asked, grinning.

Her response caused her father to gain a deadpan look on his face. Laughing once again, she just looked at him and asked.

"How about we just go to the diner for breakfast today, then I can drive off to school and you can go to work?" The answering grin she got told her he was on board with this plan. Going back upstairs she got ready, taking a quick shower and dressing in some sweatpants (of which she miraculously found) and a baggy t-shirt. She dressed like this knowing full well Alice and Edward would hate it. Walking downstairs she grabbed her keys and waited for her dad to get down. Once he had walked downstairs both he and her went to their respective vehicles and got ready to go. Driving to the diner took roughly 10 minutes, but once they arrived they quickly got seated. Charlie and Bella had a nice conversation over the menu as they figured out what to eat. Bella getting scrambled eggs, bacon, and wally browns*. While Charlie got a chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes. They both teased and joked about each other throughout breakfast quickly scarfing down what they got. And both left the diner happy and excited for the new day, one less so than the other.

On her way to school Bella scowled, remembering she would have to deal with the gossip duo. Getting to the school parking lot, she shifted her truck into park and exited, slinging her backpack over her shoulder.

Walking into the hall she was greeted with whispers and hushed tones, rolling her eyes and putting on her best resting bitch face she continued on.

Bumping into Angela as she got to her locker, she apologized and started a small conversation with her, much to the aforementioned girl's shock. She seemed to reel herself in before gratefully responding, seemingly happy her friend was better.

They joked on the way to English. Bella was excited as they were going to watch the musical for The Count of Monte Cristo. The school day passed by quickly with only a few instances that brought Bella's annoyance to the surface. One of which was at lunch, Jessica decided to start a rumor that Bella cheated on Edward.

Bella however, was suddenly not in the mood to deal with Jessica's bullshit and so called her out on it. Bella did not realize she rebuked Jessica's statement so loudly, however so her response of "just because he rejected you due to your shitty personality, does not mean you have to be a penny* to everyone." Everyone in the lunchroom seemed to understand her response as they all gasped, Jessica only responding when dickless (Mike) explained it to her in hushed tones. Oddly enough Jessica left Bella alone for the rest of the day. And Lauren seemed to gain an odd fixation on her.
