Prologue
In a long time, each of them will think back to the day they understood that the Covid was going to change things in their lifes. But today, what matters
is the moment and the begining of a new day.
- One morning, Dayanara realized that something was wrong with that illness she didn't care about. she was lying on a narrow bed, an oxygen mask on her face. She she glanced at the ceiling in the infirmary and wondered why she was there.
- Taystee understood that the Covid was going to bring a little serenity into her life when she saw her friend Tamika running after her in front of her foster home, smiling at her, a few hours before the start of the quarantine announced on TV the evening before.
- After a strange and tiring day, Natalie Figueroa and Joe Caputo watched 3 unbearable videos on Youtube to tell their little daughter Vanessa about the
Covid the next morning. They didn't know that it was the start of a new family life.
- At 10 years old, Marisol doesn't really know what the Covid was. Tonight she was sleeping at her bestfriend Maritza's home, and the two girls will probably talking about ugly people with their masks on their faces very late at night. They would sleep the next morning.
- In her kitchen, cell phone in her hand, Piper was crying :
"How are you doing to make the dishes so quietly?" She asked Alex.
Two days earlier, she learned that one of her colleagues had the Covid. She didn't think her life would be so turned upside down because of _ it.
- In Onduras, Blanca and Diablo returned home from an early morning walk with their two little girls. A neighbor told them that the first cases had appeared
in Brazil.
"Brazil is far away." said Blanca nonchalantly.
