Ghost from the North accounts a young man's struggle between his duties in the king's court and his family's duty from his homeland. His role as strategist entails him learning all he can about enemies and allies; their soldiers, formations, weapons and armor, generals, preferred strategies and tactics, city defenses, and more. along his journey he travels to places both familiar and foreign and comes face-to-face with mages, psions, dragon-kin, and each culture's outlook on all fantastical creatures and superstitious witches.
