It was the next day. Gwen was hanging upside down in a tree when Trent walked over to her. "What are you doing?" he asked her.
"Just hanging around," she replied.
"Are you okay up there?"
"I wasn't lying yesterday when I said I could do this all day." Gwen sighed. "I just wanted some space to think, especially after what happened last night."
"Yeah, I know. To think you know a person, huh?"
"Yeah." Gwen got a look of surprise when she saw Trent hanging next to her. "You know you're just going to fall off," Gwen told him.
"Not with you by my side," Trent replied. The two blushed a little before looking away. "That is truly wonderful," Dawn suddenly commented as she walked by.
"What are you doing here, Dawn?" Trent asked her with an annoyed tone.
"You don't have to snap at me because you're harboring guilt over a past action."
"What- I don't know what you're talking about."
"It's right there in your aura, Trent."
"No, I...it's not..." Suddenly, the two fell out of the tree and crashed onto the ground below. "Just great," Gwen complained when she saw the leaves in her hair. "Looks like I need a shower!" She stormed off. "I didn't mean to-" Dawn began.
"Breath a word to Gwen," Trent told her, his eyes flashing red, "And you're dead. Got it?"
"I wasn't trying to start a fight. But I fear if you do not tell Gwen the truth, the tension between you will break you apart."
Confessional: Trent (Screaming Gophers)
"Unfortunately, Dawn makes a point. But I just don't have the heart to tell her the truth."
End Confessional
In the dining hall, the Gophers were getting their breakfast from Chef and sitting down at the table. "Is it me," Lightning began, "Or does this sha-slop taste better with Amy over here?"
"Pretty sure it's the same," Samey replied through gritted teeth.
"Perhaps you had an involuntary gustatory association with Samey," Scarlett explained, "And unpleasant tastes."
"Indeed," Max agreed. "Her hideous, mal-portioned face was spoiling the food!" He was soon hit in the stomach by a punch from a glaring Mike. "Shut it, Max," he told him.
"Leave it to you to start a fight," Heather muttered under her breath.
"What was that?" Mike leaned in closer to Heather, but Zoey stood between them. "What Heather meant to say is to be careful with your anger," she told him. "It almost got you eliminated."
"But Echo got arrested before that could happen," Topher pointed out. "Mike, how'd you know about-"
"Don't bother trying to get any answers from me," Mike told him. "I doubt you'd like a shiner to match Jo's."
"Speaking of which," Cameron put in, "Where are the Killer Bass?" Over in the cabins, most of the Killer Bass were jamming to some music. Beardo had a turntable while Destiny had her guitar. "Right through gravity," Destiny sang, "Just right through what Earth planned. Right through gravity. Right through, now let them loose! Right through gravity. For all that's not, falls down. Right through anomalies. With one worth believing in!"
"Destiny, that was so awesome!" Geoff exclaimed.
"The blend of techno and rock genres really make the track," Harold put in.
"Techno's more for Be-ar-do," Destiny told the guys. "I'm into good old rock 'n' roll!"
"So, what's your favorite song?" Brick asked her.
"You can't just have one favorite! It's, like, an unspoken rule of music! Having just one favorite means you'll enjoy it til you get all 'blah' with it and not like it anymore!"
"Pretty smart coming from her," Dave muttered to Sky.
"Lay off of her, guys," Beardo told them. "She's just trying to help us unite so we can keep winning challenges. Go, Killer Bass!"
"Go, Killer Bass!" the others cheered. Outside the cabin, Scott was listening in and frowning.
Confessional: Scott (Killer Bass)
He was whittling with his shark tooth. "I overheard that little discussion with the others, and Beardo seems to be able to unite everyone. He's good. Too good. I've found me another sucker!" He laughed a little.
End Confessional
"I'm glad that everyone's working together," Dawn pointed out. "I just hope nothing ruins the unity here."
"Are you talking about that ridiculous grudge against Scott?" Courtney asked her.
"It is not ridiculous! I usually don't talk ill about someone, but I can't ignore the facts: he is completely bad!"
"You mean Scott's like that one song?" Destiny gasped before she began to sing again. "So could you...tell me how you're sleeping easy how you're only thinking of yourself? Show me how you justify telling all your lies like second nature. Listen: mark my words, one day, one day, you will pay, you will pay. Karma's gonna come collect your debt!"
"A wolf in sheep's clothing?" Greg guessed.
"Exactly!" Dawn told her teammates. "Scott's been lying to us this whole time."
"Please," Jo scoffed. "It's gonna take more than your word to make us go after Dirt Boy."
"But-" The loudspeakers came on. "Morning, campers!" Chris announced. "It's time to start today's fun activity. So, get your butts over to the clearing, toute suite." Soon, everyone was walking to an area set up with two logs on the ground and a scoreboard and monitor set up. "Step right up, players!" Chris told them as they sat down. "Screaming Gophers to the right, Killer Bass to the left."
"I saved you a seat, Jasmine," Ella offered to her. However, Jasmine just had an annoyed look.
Confessional: Ella (Screaming Gophers)
"At times, my friendship with the others has seemed...tumultuous. But I think it's getting better!"
Confessional: Jasmine (Screaming Gophers)
"Do I look like I was born yesterday? I'm certainly not getting tricked again!"
End Confessionals
"I don't think so," Jasmine snapped, "I'm not falling for any of your nice-girl tricks. Move it!" She shoved Ella to the ground before sitting down. "But I wasn't-" Ella explained.
"Nice try, Ella," Chris told her with a laugh. "Save your power plays for the game."
"But...alright."
"It's time we separated the brave from the liars. The game is Truth or Scare."
"Sounds nasty," Topher commented. "Once again, Chris, you've delivered the goods. If I had a hat, it would be off to you."
"Yes," Chris replied in an annoyed tone. "Thank you, Topher. Now then, every round a player is chosen at random." The monitor went to a picture of Amy's face, to Samey's discomfort. "It also chooses whether you'll be doing a Truth or a Scare. Halo means Truth, flames mean Scare. Get a Scare, and you'll have to perform a terrifying challenge!" The Gophers gasped at this. "Don't worry," Chris told them, "Not all the Scares will be scary. Some will be disgusting." The monitor went to a halo. "But in this case, Amy has gotten a Truth. This means she just has to answer a question honestly. But the answer will be revealing!" Samey got a worried look as Chris got closer. "It will expose a dark secret that could destroy her in the eyes of her newly-found friends! Or not, whatevs."
"How will you know if we're telling the truth?" Samey nervously asked.
"For that, we spared no expense," Chris told them. "Meet Clucky, the Truth-Seeking Chicken!" He pointed to a chicken. "No lie gets past this bird. She's former CIA and runs her own law firm: Buck, Buck, and Bugawk. If you have a secret, this poultry polygraph will pluck it out." Clucky flew on top of Chris's head. "Completing a challenge or telling a truth gets your team a point, but if you fail a challenge or tell a lie, your whole team gets a shock."
"Um, what do you mean by 'shock'?" Dave asked. Chef placed a metal collar around his neck before doing the same to everyone else. "Also, what are these metal collars Chef's putting on us?"
"You just answered your question," Chris told him. "But let me make it even clearer." He held up a green remote and a red remote and pressed the button on them, giving everyone an electric shock. "You tested these, right?" Cameron moaned.
"Yep. I just did, and you're still alive. Congrats. Let's start the game. Amy?" Samey gulped as Clucky flew into her lap.
Confessional: Samey (Screaming Gophers)
"Are you kidding?! I'm a walking lie!" She screamed in frustration. "I should've known they had a polygraph chicken!"
End Confessional
"Amy," Chris began, "Who do you dislike most?" Samey looked at the others before Clucky clucked at her. "Okay, okay," she gave in, "The...person I hate most is..." Zoey and Cameron looked at her as she gave her answer. "Amy!" Everyone else gasped at this. Clucky looked at Samey before giving a satisfied cluck. "Clucky said that was a truth!" Chris announced as the Gophers' score went up to one point.
"You hate yourself?" Topher asked Samey. "Deep."
"Care to explain, Amy?"
"Well...I, um..." Samey stuttered.
"I'll explain it!" Cameron cut in as he got to his feet.
"Cameron, no! Please!"
"The truth is...that Samey...is...not your fault, Amy. Don't hate yourself for your sister's shortcomings. You did what you could."
"No one's blaming you for Samey's weirdoness," Topher told Samey.
"That girl was all bun, no hot dog," Lightning added.
"Reeked of failure!" Max put in.
"What was that?" Mike threatened as he held up a fist. "I didn't hear you, Max!"
"Uh, did I say 'failure'? I meant flowers, you know, the nice-smelling ones?"
"Okay, okay, enough," Samey told everyone. "I feel...much better, thank you." She saw Mike and Max. "Mike, cool it now or you'll end up on the catapult."
"Fine," Mike grumbled, not taking his eyes off of Max. The monitor went to Beardo and a halo. "Next," Chris started, "We'll have Beardo, doing another Truth." Clucky flew into Beardo's lap. "And the question is...in your opinion, who is the most attractive girl on the island?"
"Uh," Beardo stuttered.
Confessional: Beardo (Killer Bass)
"I've said it before that I'm too bashful to speak to someone, let alone date them. But I had to give some sort of answer or my team will get shocked! I can't let them down."
End Confessional
"You're running out of time, Beardo," Chris told him.
"Uh, well," Beardo stammered, "I don't know, uh, Helga." Clucky flew over to the red remote and pressed the button, zapping the Bass. "Liar, liar, Beardo's on fire!" Chris teased. "And by 'fire', I mean electrocuted."
"That was truth!" Rodney protested. "Check your chicken again! You chicken's wrong!" Clucky gave an angry cluck before pressing the button on the Gophers' remote, zapping them. "Stupid bird," Rodney mumbled. Ella looked at him.
Confessional: Ella (Screaming Gophers)
"Part of being a good friend is knowing when someone is in need of cheering up."
End Confessional
"I'm sure Beardo thinks Helga's the second prettiest," Ella assured Rodney. "No shame in that."
"What?!" Rodney lashed back as he slapped her hand away. "She's no runner-up!"
"Goodness, no! I was...I was only-"
"Calm down," Chris told them. "And Ella, quit trying to pick fights."
"But I wasn't! I-"
"Quiet, you-" Rodney began but Helga slammed her fist into his head, knocking him to the ground. "Tishina!" she shouted. "I do not want to hear talk about me and you saying I am pretty again!"
"Yes, Helga," Rodney moaned. The monitor went to Helga with a Scare. "Helga, you're up next," Chris told her. "Your Scare is to last a minute in this crate with a ferocious bear." Helga just smiled as she stepped into the crate and Chef closed the door behind her. The Gophers winced at the roaring coming from inside. "I hope Heidi's okay," Lindsay said worryingly.
"She's an expert in bears, Lindsay," Sierra pointed out. "In fact, she loves them to pieces!"
"She can't like them that much," Cody said.
"You'd be surprised," Mike replied. "When that bear showed up during the camping challenge, she practically gushed at it."
"I doubt she'd just go all fan-girl over one."
"Really? I bet you a pork chop that Helga kisses the bear before the big guy."
"You're on." A timer went off. "Helga lasted the whole minute!" Chris announced. "Gophers get another point!" The score went up to two to zero, in favor of the Gophers. "Helga, you can come out now."
"Helga!" Rodney shouted as he pounded on the door. "Are you alright?!" He was surprised to hear Helga giggling as she stepped out while hugging the bear, which had calmed down. "Who's a sweet bear?" Helga gushed. "You are, milyy medved'! Yes, you are!" She gave it a kiss on its cheek. Mike and Cody went wide-eyed while Rodney just stood there, mouth agape.
Confessional: Mike (Screaming Gophers)
"It was a joke! I didn't think she'd actually do it! But seeing Helga acting like that..." He shuddered. "I don't know why, but it sends shivers down my spine."
Confessional: Cody (Screaming Gophers)
"Looks like I owe Mike a pork chop." He gave a nervous laugh.
End Confessionals
"What about me?" Rodney asked Helga. "Don't you have anything for your guppy mallet?" He puckered up for a kiss. Helga just roared at him, sending him to the ground again. He just laid there, dazed. "You'll win her over," Cody told him. "I'm sure." The monitor went to Alejandro with a Truth. "Alejandro," Chris began, "Do you like being called Al?" Clucky looked at him. "I honestly do not mind it," he finally answered. Clucky looked at him before clucking in satisfaction. "And Alejandro gets the Bass their first point!" Chris announced as the score went to two-to-one, in favor of the Gophers.
Confessional: Alejandro (Killer Bass)
"Like I said, I'm a master at lying." He gave a laugh.
End Confessional
The monitor went to Sky with a Scare. "Up next is Sky, with a Scare," Chris announced. "Sky, to earn a point, you will have to drink...an entire jug...of mineral water!" He held up a jug full of mineral water. "That's it?" Sky asked as she took the jug. "No problem!"
"You've got thirty seconds. Go!" Sky began to take a few sips at a time. "What the-" Jo complained. "Really?"
"I could drink maple syrup faster than that!" Anne-Maria complained.
"Oh, my," Dawn sighed.
"This is as fast as I can go!" Sky told her teammates after a few more sips.
"Fifteen seconds!" Chris told them. Sky's teammates moaned when they saw that the jug wasn't even halfway empty. Shawn grabbed the jug from Sky's hands. "Give me that!" he told her. "This is how you do it!" He began to shake the jug quickly. "Uh, is there a plan here?" Sky asked.
"Shut it so this can work!" Shawn snapped. Once the pressure built up in the jug, he removed his hand and aimed the jug's top at Sky. All the water was squirted in her mouth, and the intense and sudden rush of water made her fall out of her seat.
Confessional: Shawn (Killer Bass)
"It's called 'thirst-thrashing'. When zombies are coming, you ain't got time to sip!"
End Confessional
"Half of it went up her nose," Chris decided, "But that still counts as drinking. Bass gets a point with ten seconds left." The score was now two-all. "Well done, Sky. Sky?" Sky lifted one hand up.
Confessional: Sky (Killer Bass)
She was holding her swollen stomach with one hand. "You know that feeling you get when a volcano is about to go off in your gut, and you have no idea which end's gonna blow?" Her stomach gave a fierce rumble. "Yeah."
End Confessional
Sky's stomach rumbled, making everyone get a little distance from her. "It's all tied up," Chris narrated, "But it looks like a contestant might be flying off the island early, and we won't even need a catapult! Stay tuned to find out on Total...Drama!" Sky's stomach gave another rumble.
(cue commercial)
Sky's stomach gave another fierce rumble. She covered her mouth before releasing a small burp. "Huh?" Leshawna wondered as she and the other Gophers ducked behind their log. "Girl, I thought you'd get at least ten feet of air."
"That's it?" Topher asked. "Come on! Chris is trying to put on an entertaining show here!" The monitor went to Mike. "Mike, you're up..." Chris began.
"Sure," Mike replied with confidence. "I can handle any Scares you can toss at me." The monitor went to a Truth. "With a Truth," Chris finished.
"Huh?" Mike wondered, his confidence fleeting as Clucky flew to his lap. "Mike," Chris began, "Would you keep something secret from your friends?"
"O-of course not," Mike stuttered. Clucky just flew to the Gophers' remote, and they were all zapped again. "Clucky seems to disagree with you," Chris laughed.
"No fair!" Mike protested. "Th-that only happened because I'm not great with animals." Clucky pressed the remote again, zapping the Gophers again. "That little-"
"You'd better quit while you're ahead, man," Trent told him. Mike glared at him before going silent. The monitor went to Max with a Truth. "Max, it is Truth time," Chris told him. Max curled up as Clucky strutted closer to him. "Ugh!" he said with disgust. "Has this beast had its shots?"
"No," Chris told him. "Max, for a point, what do you fear?"
"I fear NOTHING!" Clucky just flew back to the remotes, and the Gophers were zapped again. "Not questioning your hosting skills, Chris," Topher told him, "But Max and Mike lied, not the rest of us!"
"Sorry, you're a package deal," Chris replied. "Remember, if one of you tells a lie, you all pay the price." Most of the Gophers glared at Mike and Max. Max gave a nervous laugh while Mike just glared back. The monitor went on Dave. "And next up," Chris announced, "We have Dave..."
"Sure," Dave said, "I got nothing to hide."
"Doing a Scare," Chris finished as the monitor went to a Scare. Dave gulped at this. "Alright, Dave," Chris told him as he walked over. "There are scary scares, then there are scarier scares, and then, there's this! For a point, you must...kiss a person next to you!" Dave went wide-eyed. He looked at Shawn, who bolted.
Confessional: Shawn (Killer Bass)
"Ever notice walkers and vampires look like they're going for a kiss, just before they bite you?!"
End Confessional
Dave turned to Sky, who was blushing. "Well," he began, "If it's this or a shock, I guess we may as well...I mean, if we have to..." The duo leaned in closer.
Confessional: Dave (Killer Bass)
"Yes! Yes, yes, yes!"
Confessional: Dawn (Killer Bass)
"Those two were destined to fall for each other. But I'm sensing something in Sky's aura that might ruin this for them, though I'm not exactly sure what it is yet. I need to check my tea leaves about it."
End Confessionals
"Okay," Sky replied, "I mean, we need to win this challenge, so..."
"Right," Dave agreed. "It's not like...I'm not making you uncomfortable, am I?"
"No. It's just...two people."
"Hey, chitty chatters," Chris interrupted, "Clock's a-ticking."
"Quit squawking and start pecking already!" Anne-Maria complained. Sky and Dave closed their eyes as they leaned in for a kiss. Suddenly, Sky's cheeks bulged, and she let out a huge burp right in Dave's face. "Now THAT'S a belch!" Owen cried out. "WHOO-HOO!"
"I can taste your burp in my eyes," Dave squeaked out as Sky covered her mouth.
"Time's up," Chris told them. "And since your lips never actually touched..." Clucky pressed the button on the Bass's remote, shocking them. "Sorry, guys," Sky apologized, "It must have been the mineral water."
Confessional: Sky (Killer Bass)
"It had nothing to do with the mineral water. I belch when I'm nervous, during tests, or when I'm near a guy I really like..." Her eyes widened. "No. No, no. I don't like Dave. Well, not like like. I don't dislike him, I just...it-it was the water."
End Confessional
The monitor went to Shawn with a Scare. "Next up," Chris announced, "Shawn, doing a Scare. Shawn, for the point, you must pick your nose and wipe it on the person sitting next to you." Shawn looked to see the only person next to him was Dave, who quickly got a terrified look. "No!" Dave screamed as he ran off. "No! No!" Shawn had cut him off. "Snot rocket," he began as he placed a finger on one side of his nose, "FIRE!" Dave screamed as the snot was fired at him, to the disgust of the Gophers. "Wow," Chris told Shawn, "You are way too good at that."
Confessional: Shawn (Killer Bass)
"Months of practice. You never know."
Confessional: Jasmine (Screaming Gophers)
"Man, Shawn sure has some moves! Don't get me wrong; it was still repulsive."
End Confessionals
"Yep," Dave squeaked out, trying to hold in his panic, "I'm okay. Not. Freaking. Out!"
"Impressive barrage, Shawn," Chris told him, "But I'm afraid you were supposed to pick and wipe, not rocket. Also, you only needed to get the person next to you, not your whole team." The Bass were all covered in snot. They were zapped again. "At least it fried the snot off, right?" Beardo told them. The monitor went to Trent with a Truth. "Well, hello, Clucky," Ella greeted the bird. "You'll be okay with Trent here. He's very nice." Trent gave as nervous smile as Clucky flew onto his lap.
Confessional: Trent (Screaming Gophers)
"Oh, boy." He sighed. "I might as well get it over with."
End Confessional
"Trent," Chris began, "If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?"
"Hmm, tough one," Trent said.
"Just tell the truth, and you'll be okay," Ella told him. He took a glance at Sky, who was biting her lip. "I...would change...whatever keeping me and Mike from being friends again," Trent finally decided, making most of his teammates gush. Sky silently let out a breath. "I firmly believe in that," Trent continued. Mike growled at this. "I firmly believe?!" he snapped as he stood up. "I firmly believe?!" Clucky ran off, frightened. "You, of all people?!" Mike angrily continued. "After what you did?! You're a dead man, leech!" Gwen, Owen and Leshawna had to hold Mike back to keep him from attacking Trent. Chris pressed the Gophers' remote, shocking them. "What was that for?!" Gwen snapped.
"For scaring Clucky," Chris explained, "And after what Ella just pulled, I can only assume she convinced Trent to lie."
"Lie?" Ella asked. "But I-"
"ENOUGH!" The Gophers were shocked again. "From here on in, I'm gonna suggest better team playing," Chris recommended. "Maybe then the score will get higher than two-two. Remember what's at stake. The losing team will be sending someone home tonight. And I think I know who will be sent home if the Gophers lose." Ella just sighed in defeat. "But hey, anything can happen. It's on to the lightning round!"
"Sha-yeah!" Lightning cheered.
"It's a speed round, Bolt Brain," Mike snapped. The monitor went to Brick with a Scare. "Put braces on a beaver," Chris said. Brick struggled a little in the beaver dam, but he managed to do the Scare, earning his team another point. The monitor went to Sierra with a Scare. "Give Sasquatchanakwa a haircut." Sierra managed to give the big yeti a bob, earning her team another point. The monitor went to Beardo with a Truth. "If you could only save one teammate, who would it be?"
"Uh," Beardo stuttered as he looked at his teammates, "Um..." He sighed in defeat. The Bass were shocked again. The monitor went to Duncan with a Scare. "Sit in a tub of maggots," Chris said. Duncan simply jumped in the tub and covered himself with maggots, earning his team another point. The monitor went to Anne-Maria with a Scare. "Beautify Fang." Anne-Maria quickly put some make-up on him, and he smiled at the finished result, earning her team another point. The monitor went toJasmine with a Scare. "Feed an iguana with your mouth." Jasmine placed a cockroach in her mouth, then went over to the iguana. It latched its tongue over her mouth, but she earned her team another point. The monitor went to Beardo with another Truth, making him groan. The Bass were shocked again. The monitor went to Lightning with a Scare. "Okay, Lightning," Chris told him as Chef carried a plate with a huge spider on it, "To get a point, you have to take this live tarantula and-" Lightning quickly swallowed it. "Whoa!" Chris gagged. "All you had to do was pet it!"
"Oh," Lightning realized. He rubbed his stomach. "Does this count?"
"Yeah, close enough. Screaming Gophers get a point." The score was now 5-all. "After all this pain and anguish, you're still tied," Chris asked the campers. "Makes you think it was all for nothing. And while I can do this all day...seriously. I mean, these things are awesome! It's time for the game to end." The Gophers and Bass sighed in relief. "Right after the Sudden Death round!" Everyone gasped at this. "S-sudden Death?" DJ gulped.
"A player from each team will go head-to-head in a duel challenge. Winner's team wins immunity. Loser's team gets shocked and sends someone home." The monitor went to Beardo. "Not again!" Scott complained.
"This is for the game," Sky told him. "Show some support."
"Yeah," Beardo agreed. He gulped. "Just hope I don't mess up."
"Like he'll last with another Truth," Scott sneered.
"Scott, Beardo," Chris explained, "In the Sudden Death round, there are no Truths, only Scares."
"Yes!" Beardo cheered. "In your face, chicken! You can't hurt us again!" He made some clucking noises. Clucky gasped before flying over, but was caught by Chris. "Easy, Clucky," he warned. "Keep it professional." The monitor went to Ella. "For the Gophers will be...Ella."
"Bring on the Scares!" Beardo told Chris.
"Um, yes," Ella politely agreed. "Bring them, please."
"The game is simple," Chris explained. "In each of these bags, you will find the opposing team's shock remote. First to untie the tightly-knotted string, get the remote, and shock the opposition wins the day." He tossed the bags to Ella and Beardo. "Go!" Ella began untying her string while Beardo was struggling to make headway. "Go, Beardo!" most of the Bass cheered.
"Come on, Ella!" most of the Gophers cheered.
"My fingers are too big," Beardo told his teammates.
"I undid mine easily enough," Ella said as she held the Bass's remote. "Would you like some help?"
"Ella!" Chris told her. "Just press the button and your team wins!" She went for the button but pulled her hand back. "Oh, I can't!" she decided. "It's just too mean! Honestly, who could do such a thing?" Clucky flew up and grabbed the remote from her hand and started pressing the button repeatedly, shocking the Bass many times. "Clucky, no!" Chris told the bird. "He's not worth it!" Clucky just let out a raspy breath. Soon, Chef rolled the bird, now wearing a metal mask and a straight-jacket, on a trolley.
"What an interesting day," Chris commented. "Screaming Gophers, as winners of Truth or Scare, you gain immunity." Ella breathed a sigh of relief.
"You'll also be treated to a meal, courtesy of Humpty Dumpty's Meat Shack. At Humpty's, all the king's horses feed all the king's men." Almost everyone gagged at this. "Or if you want, Chef's making chicken. Killer Bass, time to vote one of you off the island."
Confessional: Beardo (Killer Bass)
"Aw, man. I feel so bad for letting my team down today. I hope they can forgive me."
End Confessional
Sky and Dave were walking back to the cabins. "So," Dave began, "Crazy day, huh? I mean, we almost kissed back there."
"Yep," Sky agreed. "Crazy." She held a hand over her mouth as she ran off. "I can't figure her out," Dave thought to himself. "Is she into me or not." He turned around and walked away. "I wish she'd just give me a sign." A loud burp rang out. "Excuse me!" Sky shouted.
"Any sign at all," Dave sighed. At the campfire ceremony, the Killer Bass were all seated. Shawn, Harold, Geoff, Bridgette, Dave, Sky, Sam, Destiny, Beardo, Greg and Jo were in the back row while Duncan, Luna, Alejandro, Scott, Anne-Maria, Courtney, Brick, Dawn and DJ were up front. "The following Bass are safe," Chris began. "Courtney, DJ, Alejandro, Greg, Jo, Duncan, Bridgette, Anne-Maria, Sam, Luna, Geoff, Harold, Destiny, Dave, Dawn, Brick, Shawn and Sky. Beardo, you could be going home because you caused your team to be shocked repeatedly by failing to tell the simple truth. And Scott, you could be going home for sowing discourse in your team."
"What?" Scott feigned. "What makes you think I would do something like that?"
"Well, four people thought that, but everyone else decided that Beardo should get the boot. Eat up." Chris tossed the last marshmallow to Scott. Beardo made a dying Pac-Man noise. "Looks like it's game over, dude," Greg told him.
Confessional: Beardo (Killer Bass)
"Meh, I'm not upset. It could have been worse. I could have been the first one voted off."
End Confessional
"It's a bummer you're going home, Be-ar-do," Destiny told him. "The vibes here just won't be the same without you."
"It's okay," Beardo told her. "I got some good friends out of this."
"Right on!" Geoff cheered. Soon, Beardo was on the Hurl of Shame. "See you, Be-ar-do," Destiny told him as she waved goodbye.
"Time to send this sound box off," Chris announced. Beardo made a firework noise, to Chris's annoyance. "Enough already!" Chef pulled the lever, hurling Beardo off. "It was nice meeting all of you!" Beadro quickly shouted as he flew off.
Back at the cabins, Dakota was busy picking up some wood when she noticed Gwen fast asleep while hanging from a tree branch. "Huh," she wondered. "I hope she doesn't fall off."
"What are you talking about?" Sam asked her as he walked back. "Hey, look at that."
"Yeah, it's-huh?" Dakota turned to see that Trent was next to Gwen, and the two were sound asleep. "In a weird way," Dakota said to Sam, "They're kinda sweet together, aren't they?"
"Yep," Sam agreed. "By the way, thanks for all the food you got us."
"No problem, Sam. Nice guys like you don't deserve to starve, right?"
"You think I'm nice?"
"Yeah. Anyone with eyes can see that. See ya, Sam." As Dakota walked off, Sam had a wide grin on his face and blush on his cheeks.
And here's another chapter! So, the elimination. I know a few of you are sad that Beardo was booted, but I didn't know how to write him further without it being too forced, so he had to be cut here.

The next challenge will have darkness, toxicity, and maybe some riches. Until next time, this is Dunsparce519 saying enjoy and happy holidays.
P.S. The songs Destiny was referencing were 'Un-Gravitify' from Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity and 'Wolf in Sheep's Clothing' by Set It Off feat. William Beckett
